Hello Friends;

Ate on plan, 1500 calories, and did my 108 sit-ups (3 sets of 12 X 3 different types), core strength, heel raises, shoulder crunches and 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer.

I saw a therapist today for some help with parenting & some other stressors. She is a firm believer in physical exercise for strength of mind ... I freaking LOVE her. She's 60 and in great shape. She told me to practise visualizing packing my gym bag, driving to the gym, changing, looking at the clock in the gym and spending some time remembering what I feel after my workout; pride, relaxation, etc. I told her I'll have 'weak' thoughts that I'll go exercise, but the visualization will make them strong thoughts so it will be more likely to happen.

YOGA (certain postures) definitely strengthens the wrists. It might exacerbate arthritis at first, though--it's difficult to tell because everyone has different experiences. i know my practice has virtually eliminated my neck problems--made it stronger and more flexible--used to get tired and sore at the end of the night. Hope your wrists don't bother you, whatever your method is!

Hello! I am sorry to hear your wrist is acting up. I used to have a cyst from waitressing and it made my wrist very painful to move and I couldn't support anything. Luckily surgery took care of most of it but push ups still hurt a bit. Hope it clears up quickly:)
I was just telling someone today about this forum and how much I have enjoyed it and all the people here. Yay!!! So glad to have a friend like you:)

You do push-ups? I can only do the knee ones.

Kept my calories below 1500 and did 30 on the treadmill, my sit-ups and core strength. Food was a bit goofy - had hot dogs for lunch and grilled cheese and fries for supper, but I also had oatmeal, almonds, grapes, spinach and a glass of V8.

I'm not the guy to talk to about this stuff though in many respects. I can google around and find stuff, but, someone like Steve actually works with people and could probably give you a better sense of what you should be doing.

Like you I've been eating below 1500, likely 1300 for me lately, I have nearly no appetite lately when I get home from work, and just yesterday I had to force myself to eat half of what I made to start with, I don't know what's going on. I have no problem eating breakfast and lunch, it's just dinner, I just have no desire and nothing sounds good. LOL LOL I'm sure that will change soon.

I'll be starting up the exercise on Friday, Aunt Flo has me in a pinch the past two days, OIY!!! At least I'm not over eating. HEHEHEHEE I think I'll be posting some weight loss soon, my new pants are already getting baggy, UGGG! it took me a long time to break down and buy new clothes now I might have to do it again. I HATE SHOPPING!!!!

Hope your wrist feels better soon, my hubby wears a brace on his when it flares up, maybe that and some Physical Therapy will help. My mom just finished up her PT on her wrists, and she said it worked wonders for her. You never know!! Good luck!!!

That's all I need, thank you Karl. I had to take Ibuprofen for it last night and it worked wonders.

Hey Kim :) maybe your stomach is shrinking and therefore you're not as hungry? Anyways ... go with it !! lol
I love shopping when I'm a good weight. Then it's an absolute pleasure. Skinny jeans with leather ... Bowchickawow-wow.
P.S. I decided to audition for another play, it's a Neil Simon play and involves 3 couples who stay in the same Plaza Suite at a hotel and their various shenanigans. Can't wait. Auditions on Monday so I'll let you know if I get a part
 
OMG!! I hope you get the part, YEAH!!!!! And I'm going to be bummed if you get it, because I won't be able to see it. DAMN, DAMN!!!!!:banghead: Well you can always have it taped and send me a version. HEHEHEHE HINT, HINT!!!

Wahhhh! I'm here, must have tried to post 5 times but I'm so damn busy. Travelling for work, hitting the gym, eating right. I'm sooooo tired. Thanks for checking in guys, I may have to take a break from here for a while - I got the part and it's 4 nights per week 3 hours a pop. Keep on keepin' on everyone!!
