Lili's Diary

LOL Yah I think that's where I heard it too. My dog's name is just plain old Rufus, but we seem to add an endless array of extra nicknames, including Poofter, Rufy, Doofus, Nig Nog and Little Black Bro.

lol and your dog still loves you?? I particularly like 'Nig Nog' My cat's name is Stimpy and he's a little bastard :) and I love it. He's just mad about the name.

2 days of dietry woe wont kill you, just make sure you get it back on track when you're able to.
Or better yet - just work the excess calories off :)

Thanks Wishes...that's right. Great news! Al and I went to the hospital this morning to have his packing removed and ... no bleeding. That means we came home and he takes the week off work but he's home free. The surgeon apologized and said in hindsight he should have cancelled the surgery on account Al had a cold, and in the future that's what he would do. Al later said he believes the guy had good intentions so if he's cool, I'm cool.

Whoa, what a relief! I guess all of us have been holding our breaths here, like you have been there. Your son seems to have a big heart even when he's suffered so much. You've brought him up well.
I hope you get a great nights sleep tonight and wake up refreshed and very gym-happy. :D
Julie

YEAH!!! ALL IS GOOD! Now, I I'm happy you can get yourself back on track and start feeling better for yourself too. I'm an truly happy to hear everything is looking up!! Do you work with well known actors Anna or local people?? It sounds like so much fun!! :)

Oh my gosh you really have raised a sweet guy. I'm so happy that there was no more bleeding and he is alright now. I don't know if your short hiatus from work was refreshing at all or not, but I'm happy that everything is okay!!!! You will get back on schedule I know it. I can't wait because I know you'll feel so great and return to your impeccable diet :) Woo you're getting 2Skinny woman!

That's terrific news!! Maybe I'm jaded about our American medical system, but a doctor admitting he's not God and a patient who believes he made a simple mistake with good intentions--that's very refreshing. On top of it all, Ottawa is coming back on Anaheim. I'm glad Al's doing better. Like Wishes said, 2 days of off-the-wagon eating won't hurt ya. In fact, it may even help.

Oh thank god Anna! I am so sorry I have been MIA! I was in tears during most of your posts! I am glad the dr. had good intentions and wasn't just some psycho that enjoys torturing his patients.. but for your son to go through that!! :( Thank god it's over. You are truly an amazing mom!! You did so well for you son and cared for him and kept his spirits up! I am so glad it is over and he can heal without pain. Al seems like an incrediable kid! Don't stress your diet! I am impressed you had any notion at all what you were eating. I would have mindlessly devoured the stores stock of Ben and Jerry's during that whole thing!!! Once again can't say how glad I am that it is over and your son won't have to endure any more pain from re-packing! Take care I will talk to you soon!!! :hug2:

horay! its over! :D

You always worry yourself silly about ya kids - heck i know all about it.
I reckon they can be grown and left home, but it doesnt stop you worrying lol.

Thats great news! rock on girlfriend :D

Thank you so much for all your support Julie!!

Thanks doll! Yes, I act with local actors/actresses, not Hollywood.

Thanks Luke, yes, this weekend actually was super restful, napping. lol

Thanks Cannon, yes, it is refreshing and I felt he was genuine because he spent more time with us than usual today.

THANK you, you guys all helped me through this.

Well today was good for me.
Breakfast: 2 egg McMuffins, 600 calories, hot chocolate 90 calories
Supper; Chicken caesar salad 630 calories
Dessert; Mr. Freezie 100 calories
Total = 1420 calories, I intend to go to bed feeling peckish every night this week! I love that English saying. It means not quite hungry, but not full.

For the next little, when it comes to exercise I will be referring to myself in the third person who shall be named Chunky.
Chunky went to the gym today and jogged for 30 minutes. Then Chunky did 3 sets of 12 of three different types of sit-ups, first kind just the basic crunch, 2nd kind knees in the air and crunch up, 3rd kind the cycle kind. Then Chunky did her core and heel raises, followed by seven different upper body with 8 pound weights, 3 sets of 10 each. Chunky felt BOSS after her workout!! :jump:

Chunky can do all that during a workout and still keep breathing, are you sure Chunky is appropriate?? LOL LOL WAY to go on that workout girl!!:jump:

Chunky, my ass! (Well, that WOULD be appropriate... :p)
YOU are right to feel BOSS! ECSTATIC and WINNER could be considered also.
Great to have you back full blast! :D
Julie

Howdy Anna, Looks like a gr8 day!! Ok this caught my eye

Hi Anna, just wanted to stop by and say a belated "thank-you" for your really comments in my journal...and LMAO at "Chunky"!

Ohh I like that word too. I think that is a good goal, I've heard before that is the very key to losing weight. I don't think 'Chunky' is appropriate, but you're the writer, you can choose whatever pseudonym you want ;) That's awesome you hit up the gym and went right into your routine, and even intensified it! Hope you're having a beautiful day :)

Ha ha ha I'm glad my nickname made you all smile. First day back at work today and now that summer weather is here, I don't mind work so much. I was able to deal with all my voicemail and email messages with little interference. I have to re-write an old policy manual and that is going to be dry and boring work, let me tell ya. I work from 8 am to 4 pm with a half hour lunch and it's so great getting out at 4 pm!

Breakfast; Oatmeal porridge 260 calories, medium apple 80 calories
Lunch; 473 ml bottle of OJ 225 calories, low-fat cranberry/apple muffin 202 calories, one cup of fruit 77 calories, 5 almonds 35 calories
Snack; 2 cups chef salad 250 calories
Supper; 2 hot dogs 440, catsup and mustard 30 calories (yum yum)
Total = 1600 calories

Chunky gave 'er and ran a 10 minute mile. One of her goals is to run an 8 minute mile. Followed by 35 minutes hill climbing on the elliptical trainer, 108 sit-ups, core, heel raises and shoulder crunches with 8 pound weights.

How many pounds has Chunky lost to date? And how does Chunky eat and work out differently than prior to starting her weight loss plan?
