Lili's Diary

This post is a test to see if I am technologically advanced enough to know how to put one of those ticker weight loss thingys on my profile.

DARN ... guess not.

Oooo, got it on the 2nd try, not bad.

Hi, Anna!
Congratulations on your ticker!! And nice going there.. :)
Juliette

PS. ß (<- if it works) is Alt+225..

here fishy fishy fishy !!

You are so ticker-compliant now. I feel like I should wash your car or something, you must be exhausted :p

Funny

I'm a Pisces so I picked fish...lol...yes, it was a lot of effort to get ticker-compliant. Now my next feat..are you ready?...is to learn how to do what you always do T2, and that is you quote each person and put their quote in one response. I only know how to quote one person so my next comment to M2M, for example, will not be as pretty as your multi-quoting format.

I'm just getting in line for the free car wash!

M2M; I saw your new picture and you are so pretty!!! I love your red hair and your daughter's too. Are those freckles? It's hard to see because the picture is tiny, but my gawd, more people should have freckles...they're so cute. NOT in a Pippi Long-Stocking sort of way! Freckles are girly, I luv 'em.

Happy Easter Anna:) I am ashamed to say I hadn't found your journal before this!! It's nice to know your name. Hope your having a great weekend and congrat's on the ticker function.. and the quote function!! I still can't figure that one out! lol

Oh...they're freckles all right - on both of us.

Mine are less apparent now - my arms are covered by millions of small ones, but my face is the most noticable - make up cures a lot of sins ;) When I was 5, my grandmother and I came walking out of a store together, and some HUGE man says to me..."Young lady, I'll give you a nickle for every freckle you can count on your face." So I did what ever self respecting 5 year old would do...I kicked him.

He never paid up, but I didn't count either ;)

Megan's freckles otoh, are Beyond beautiful, but I am one biased mommy. I get to love in her what I *never* would have appreciated in me ;)

Now that you're getting all technical here on us...I'll share the secret of multiquoting (since I think it was T2 who taught it to me!)...

At the bottom of each post, there's an orange quote button, that is if you just want to quote the specific post you're responding to, then there's a button with a picture of a piece of paper and in the top are quotation marks " and below a + sign, that's the multiquote button. For every post you want to quote, just click that button, then when you've clicked all the ones you want to respond to, click the orange "Post Reply" button on the bottom left hand side of the last message - all the quotes you've clicked will be put into our response.

I hope that isn't confuddled or confusing!

My fault Mishi, I signed off my PMs to you with my first name, Lili, and my diary has my middle name. Glad you found me :) Happy Easter.

THANK you M2M, Your instructions were clear, this is my first practise multi-quote. I wish I had the guts to kick some people that need kicking!

Good Morning Anna,
You did the multiquote perfectly :D That and a ticker you're styling!

As for the kick, well, I do recall getting into trouble over that, BIG time! Who knew you were supposed to stand back and let big brutes insult you ;)

Happy Easter Anna. If you still haven't figured out how to multi-quote, there's a button to the right of the quote button that looks like this " +, click on it, and it quotes the post that the person left. Click on that button for each post that you want to reply to. Once you're done, click the quote button, and all of the quotes you've chosen will appear.
