Oh 2Skinny, I'm happy you had a delicious mysterious supper. I wanna know what it was too. I'm so sorry you have to go to that awful meeting tomorrow and be surrounded by scary people. Hopefully you rub off on them a bit and they can soak up your infinite wisdom. I'm sure they'll listen to your message, whatever it may be. Your boss does sound incredibly supportive. Very cool...I hope that you are good to yourself as you promised, and hahaha, I know how it feels to feel irrational hatred towards food. SLEEP WELL! Go :eh:

Hi everyone. Thanks so much Jlynee, Jeff, Luke, Risty, Blancita, Mishi, Tammy and Ladybug for wishing me well ... talk about support. My meeting went as good as it could. My colleage wasn't prepared, she was brow beat after talking for two minutes, at which point I took over and told a couple of barracudas to shut it until we're done our presentation. Then everyone asked questions which I fielded for the most part. But you know what? I was strangely detached and even joking and laughing at certain points. Everyone remained poker faced. Tough crowd. LOL But I felt confident and not defensive because I know my stuff and have been working on this for over a year and all the negativity couldn't be substantiated. When the chair did a round table, majority was in support. Funny how the rotters always get the most air time. I left, feeling very good and didn't even need to hug my puppy. But I stopped on the way up and way back for him to run around and pee. Got back to the office and my boss was the usual Love he is. High fived me but I told him our counterparts are throwing a certain kink into our plans which we'll have to navigate next... and their head office is asking for a teleconference ... it ain't over. But it will be. And then I am going to celebrate. Not sure how yet. THANKS again, everyone. Wow, you guys are so fantastic.

Breakfast; A&W bacon n' egger 450 calories
Lunch; Pita, hummus sandwich 365 calories
Supper; 1 cup green peppers 40 calories, Boston Bluefish 320 calories, cocktail sauce 25 calories, caesar salad 300 calories.
Dessert; DQ orange-vanilla bar 60
Total = 1560

45 minutes hill climbing elliptical trainer (while watching Ottawa beat Buffalo in the NHL whoo hoo!), 108 sit-ups, 3 sets of 12 on core, 3 sets of 12 on heel raises and shoulder crunches, 6 other upper body with 8 pound weights at 3 sets of 10.
 
Alright a good meeting, that's what I was hoping to hear from you tonight!:jump: And you ate well and did some exercise, Way to go!!! Tomorrow is TGIF! Oh yeah!! do you work weekends also?

Well, I'm glad it went better than you thought it would! I hate doing presentations... and the only ones I've done are in school and those are bad enough let alone something important like what you're doing!
 
That's awesome that it went so well. You managed to eat well and get in a full workout and beat down the suits. Power mama. :boxing:
 
I've had insomnia lately, so tired and exhausted. No exercise tonight. I rented Deja Vu and I'm going to watch Anneheim Ducks in the NHL playoffs. Tomorrow night I'm hitting a club to watch Smokin' George play on his git-tar!

Breakfast; 2 cereal bars 260 calories, 1.5 oz low fat cheese 75 calories
Lunch; 3.5 oz ham 210 calories on 2 slices of rye bread 135 calories, 1 tbsp. mustard 35 (oops, had to edit to add mustard)
Snacks; 10 almonds 70 calories, 1 rice cracker 60 calories, 4 whole wheat crackers 90 calories
Supper; 3 small slices spinach and feta thin crust pizza 445
Dessert; DQ fudge bar 45 calories
Total = 1420 calories

I wish I was hitting the town tonight for some good music that sounds like a lot of fun to me!! :jump: I LOVE your new avatar, how pretty! I think I need to change mine up a bit soon. I'm trying to get through all the diarys before I really start moving on the housework. Once I get started it's hard to stop, but once I stop, THAT'S IT!! Happy Mother's day to you also Kim! I wish I was motivated to do housework. Most I could manage was sweeping the kitchen and one load of laundry and cook steaks tonight. But I got out there for my jog already. Any excuse to cease housework is a good one, in my books. ha ha Yes, those Canadians do like to party. That's my neice with my dog in the avatar. I wonder if my sons will remember Mother's day...I better suggest brunch just in case. :rolleyes:

Thanks M2M, my neice took that of her and my dog Rufus last Christmas, with her cell phone! I thought that was pretty neat. I'm not caught up to all the technology yet. I don't even have a cell phone, yet all the teenagers today do! Happy Mom's day to you:)

I have to admit that's pretty cool though. I turn mine off for days at a time, but then I hate having to listen to messages, so now I just leave a voicemail asking for no messages unless it's necessary. If I didn't my mom leaves 20 messages a day (not exaggerating) alternating between "Hi honey....it's mom......love you.....call me back" and "where the hell are you, answer your damn phone" 1 of each will suffice in my opinion :rotflmao:

LOL you know I have never wished I had one. My sons are suggesting we get 3 on a family plan, but ... Iiiiiiiieee dunno.

Breakfast; bran flakes with skim milk 287 calories, rye toast with 1 tbsp. peanut butter 165 calories
Lunch; 2 rye bread, 2 tbsp. low-fat mayo & 2 slices ham 245 calories
Snack; 6 cups air popped popcorn, no butter, 183 calories, big chocolate bar 560 calories
Supper; 6 oz. carrots 65 calories, one cup yellow frozen corn 130 calories, .9 oz tuna 30 calories, .25 oz sunflower seeds 40
Total = 1700 ( a little higher than I wanted but going to the movies I brought my own home-made popcorn and had chocolate!!)

Jogged 4 km, walked 2 km. 3 sets of 12 on 3 different types of sit-ups for a total of 108 sit-ups, 3 sets of 12 each for heel raises, core and shoulder crunches with 8 pound weights. 6 upper body of 3 sets of 10, with 8 pound weights.

Tomorrow I'm going for brunch for Mom's day with the boys and I'm a bit nervous about being stupid. I suppose it could be my only meal of the day, go for an hour jog, and just have a salad for supper. Not sure yet.

Hi Anna. I'm glad your meeting went well. Way to hold the confidence and feel secure that you know your stuff. I'm sure that was clear to all. And you did all this while still managing your diet, your exercise, and the PUPPY! Really, how could you possibly be any more together? Enjoy the down time and give us the scoop on Deja Vu. I haven't seen yet.
