Well guys, I tried this on friday morning. I got up at 5.30am and ate right away, I got to the gym at 6:30am and did a quick 10 minutes on the treadmill to warm up a bit and then 40 minutes of weights.
I didn't feel as though I was any weaker than training later in the day. I usually train at about 5.30pm which is aftter being up since 5:00am that same day. Maybe if I could train at 1pm when I have been less active through the day I would feel slightly stronger, but have no way to try this lol.
Anyway I thought the workout went well and I just made sure I ate plenty and drank pretty much from waking until getting work after my session. (And obviously more during the day). Would during a morning workout be a time where an Isotonic sports drink may be useful? I never drink these during any workouts but considered it if I needed to work out so early in the future, or should I still avoid them as I have done in the past.
Just thought maybe theres something in there to re-hydrate the body after sleeping better than just water on its own would?
