Lift, Train, Fitness

(Shame on the gym people for not hopping in to help! Not that you needed it, but anyone other than you, just about, and that would have been a potentially unsafe situation.)
unfortunately, there is no pedestrian access to the underground car parks other than the escalator and I had a toddler to pick up from daycare. Yes for a non lifter it would have been near impossible to get a trolley of shopping down to a parked car safely. The only other way would have been to go out into a raging thunderstorm and walk along the roadway into the car park with no footpath and people driving like lunatics.

Frustrating day dealing with freight company, my bar had been sitting at the Depot for almost a week, chasing up the problem I was first told that it had not been delivered because I had refused delivery :( finally found out after a lot of hassle that they had actually lost one of my packages. Finally just now received an e-mail saying the missing package was sent to Cairns Grrrrrr, and they cannot deliver the bar until my second package (Calibrated plates) arrives at the local depot. Some time next week IF they can get it right this time. I don't understand how they can mix up Canina with Cairns

Not weight loss related, but this is Aussies helping Aussies, 180 trucks of donated hay for drought stricken farmers.

I am still a little sore from a bench session 2 days ago, you can feel the differences in weight between gym weights and bar compared to a competition bar and weights which are close to what they should be (my calibrated plate should arrive next week).A weight that I would warm up with at the gym was a good training session. Today we places gym mats on top of a rubber underlay covering enough shed area to move my bench onto, It took 3 of us to lift the bench.

While we were moving the bench, little miss was running around lifting a 5kg kettle-bell, and then started re-arranging a stack of weight plates lol She weighs about 14 kg so the kettle bell is about 1/3 of her body-weight.

My power cage should also arrive next week. Also added to my equipment list I added 2 aerobic steps (my short little legs cannot reach the floor when I bench press), these cam with a skipping rope each and 2 exercise bands with each. Tomorrow I need to move my stationary bike from the house down to the shed gym.

Food has been good, and as a bonus, my eating stayed within my limits for game night at a friends place (AD&D 2nd Edition), no junk, water only to drink.

Sounds like you´ve got everything under cotrol which CAN be under control.

It must feel so good to be getting your gym together.
Wow to your not so little anymore one for being so strong & active :)

It is amazing how strong she is, and It is not just me as her mum thinking it, but the childcare centre she goes to has noted how much stronger she is than other toddlers her age, they have also noted that she risk assess things that may be a little dangerous which is very unusual for a 2 year old, when she climbs, she has her path all planned out before starting the climb.

I will head down to my gym later to do a makeshift training session, which I will log afterwards.

It was a little disconcerting training, I had an audience, one very large male possum, sitting on the sheds kitchen bench, licking himself while I trained.

Bench Press
Close grip Bench
Banded rows
Bent over rows
Banded lat pull-downs (wide)
Shoulder dislocations.

Another Australian animal I had to look up. We have an animal we also call a possum, but they do not seem much related to your possum. Ours are actually opossums, but no one uses the o. I believe our possum is the only marsupial we have, but that's about as close as the relationship gets. Hope he didn't really disrupt your training.

Was he just visiting do you think Tru or has he moved in? I hope he has not been leaving his mark everywhere. :(

You can smell possum out in the carport, but not inside, hopefully just a visitor inside.
