Lift, Train, Fitness

I want bub to grow up having a healthy relationship with food, everything allowed in moderation, she has a big appetite but is equally active so all good. When she feels full she pushes her food away, there is no forcing her to eat when she doesn't want to, unlike what I went through as a kid where we had to finish everything we were given.
I think babies and little children will eat exactly right, if their tastes and appetites are left to develop naturally - which usually means without having too much sugar pushed on them. I think several people here - I was one - have mentioned being pressured to eat more than they wanted to, or things they didn't want to, in childhood, which contributed to our relationship with food getting off to a bad start. I'm glad your little ones, boys and girl, are getting a much better start.

feeling sluggish this morning, hit a quick 100 pushups and hope it is cool enough to get out and get stuff done today. Had a few drops of rain last night but not enough to make any difference to the water level in the house tank, will probably need to buy a tanker load before xmas.

just a quick update before likely loosing power, big lightening storm incoming, mostly dry strikes bad winds, hubby was on his way back from deployment but redirected back out to a fire caused by a strike, looks nasty outside. Time to batten down and hope for the best. If I loose power I may not be posting for a while.

storm is over with mixed blessings

we did not get the rain hoped for however, the storm split around our property, going either side (the hills that stop all mobile reception etc are to blame)

power stayed on, we did not get hit by the house destroying hail (larger than cricket balls measuring 10 cm diameter) gladly missed out on the tornado that formed just past where my son works but it harmed nobody, I can see some very large branches down, but will not know if any large trees are down or if I can even get out to the road until I head outside. Time now to go out check for major damage and pick little miss up from childcare.

The moisture has not cooled anything down, just made the humidity worse.

I'm glad you avoided the worst of it & that no-one was hurt in the hailstorm but disappointed you missed out on the rain. I hope your entrance is clear.
I'm here with a jumper on & you're in oppressive humidity & heat! I wouldn't swap.

Oh, heck! What a barrage of various kinds of wild weather. Those dry lightning strikes are so dangerous - the more so after the lack of rain. Best wishes for there to be no more fires.

As for this:
my boys are no longer little lol, they ar age 24, 22 and 20
:rotflmao:
The joke's on me!

Another hot one again today, this is the temp reading in the shade on my verandah this morning, we have not reached the peak for the day yet. Too hot to be doing anything physical, no exercise, food minimal, too hot to eat.

Edit - Somebody else from the other side of town just reported 44 in the shade, it is a killer day out there, good for weight loss as nobody feels like eating much in this heat.
