Lift, Train, Fitness

You've definitely got a lot on your plate - even more so than normal. Here's a Jedi hug in case you need one:

I have been officially accepted to the University of Sunshine Coast, pre-enrolment paperwork done, just need to wait now to enroll in specific subjects.

Mum is in a bad way, tired and in pain, I want her pain to end but don't want to loose my mum.

Congratulations on your enrollment! I don't even want to think about how it would feel to be in your situation regarding your mom. All the best :grouphug:

Ok been to see the doc about my bursitis again, not looking good but he will not be happy till he has me back on stage to compete. Had blood taken today to rule out infection in the bursa but it looks like it will be heavy on the painkillers (Oxycodone), anti inflammatory meds and regular steroid injections. Hitting it with everything. scans and more injections next week, muscle balance and condition of my shoulder is great, it is just the Bursa grrr. Doc pointed out that he knows I have a very high pain threshold so for me to be in eye watering pain at times is a big indicator of how bad the bursa is. Last scan they could see the bursa folding up on itself when I moved my shoulder.

I have no pain with moderate bench because my form is perfect but sudden odd movements when I am chasing bub around the house will leave me as a quivering wreck of pain from a slight movement in the wrong direction and lack of sleep due to pain is taking its toll on top of all the other problems at the moment.

Ouch! Your bench form must really be perfect to not be in pain - not that I´d expect anything less in your case. If I can wish one thing for you it´s better sleep; so many things are influenced by that

Injection in shoulder was done yesterday arvo, VERY sore this morning but that is not unusual, it is common for the injected area to be worse for a couple of day before it improves, not as much bruising this time.

mum is not feeling as bad today, there was a mess-up with medication last weekend, they overdosed her with morphine.

Glad to hear that!

That's horrible that she got overdosed, but glad she's feeling a bit better

I hope you have pictures to remember that (even if you´re not posting them): a gang of Pikachus loose on the street sounds hilarious.

Ist der Ruf mal ruiniert, lebt es sich ganz ungeniert. Which means something like once you get rid of your reputation life is a lot of fun :)

I am pretty awful at sewing but today I made and painted these toddler cushions from scratch.

Some days you just have to take time out and relax as best you can.

Gyarados was a bit of a problem to draw and paint on the fabric, (I am not posting the painting fail lol)

Shoulder is feeling a bit better today, hope to see further improvement this week. I have selected my first two subjects for Uni but still a week and a half before I can sign up for specific class times and get my timetable sorted out.

Finished voting, almost exclusively racist bigots on the house of reps paper with such wonderful options including one nation, fraser anning party and clive palmer's party. :banghead:

84 options on the senate paper, it makes you seriously wonder where they dig some of these people up from including the anti vaccination party.

still, not even close to the 117 candidates on the first ACT ballot paper (Sun Dried Warm Tomato party, Part Party party and the Surprise party among others)

Games night at a friends place later, definitely wanting to avoid watching election coverage over the next few days.

Shoulder not to bad today, will try to see how it holds up with some light training at the gym on Monday, counting down to the 27th when I can get in early to choose the best possible lab times for my subjects.

time to relax a bit now, going to paint a dragon on another pillowcase.

Voting and making your voice heard is really the only thing you can do. I'm not looking forward to later this year when we have a Federal election here in Canada... It's going to be ugly. Politically, things have been going really downhill since our last election!
