Lift, Train, Fitness

All still on target this morning

there is still pudding sitting in the fridge lol, I wasn't even tempted to taste it when I served it to the rest of the family last night.

Back down to 90 kg, that should be the end of the fast water loss, I feel like I am back fully adapted now

the next big stress problem will come on Monday night, but not something to be discussed here other than some people have no understanding of people with disabilities. But I am not going to let it ruin today or the weekend.

Great Work! :)

Hope everything works out for Monday night.. ;)

Great Job as well in the squat challenge!!

I have a FreeStyle Optium Neo

the strips are still expensive but not as much as some other brands, I only test occasionally as I am broke at the moment and only have 2 strips left lol

I have one strip hoarded away for the day that I *think* I might be back to keto full swing. I'm day two right now of very low carb, sub 30g yesterday. I need to kick the AM latte to get lower, milk has a ton of carbs in it. I think I'll buy a regular coffee pot instead of using the espresso machine.
Hope you are feeling better from that flu. There is always something to throw a wrench in our best laid plans.

Well done getting back into it, this is day 6 of Zero Carb for me, trying to see the difference compared to my normal keto at under 20 grams per day.

Came across this today

https://medium.com/@anthonyroberts/kinseio-tape-sued-in-consumer-fraud-class-action-2a6f9927dbb4

I think it is interesting from the point of view of a sports trainer who spends a lot of time applying tape

I do believe Kinesio tape does work in some situations and there is some science to be found to support it but I also agree that the product claims go a bit to far with what they claim the tape can achieve. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Congrats to your son Tru. That's awesome [emoji106]. Hope Mon works out well. It's good that you are feeling back on track xoC

Just finished watching the allstars game that was on in new york, good to see some of the old names playing and was a good diversion at 4am in the morning when I had to cancel working the markets because of a massive thunder storm.

It was good watching Shoaib Akhtar, Virender Sehwag, Muttiah Muralitharan, Jonty Rhodes and Ricky Ponting play

today will be a lazy day watching the test match, If I wasn't so broke I would catch the train to the ground to watch it live but paying $60+ in train fares is out of my budget this weekend.

eating is still on track, squat challenge is on track and it is Bench press night at the gym later.

Stress levels are through the roof, Disability discrimination is far toooo common here in Australia. not going into too much detail but fighting to keep my son in baseball after some new parents complained that he is "scary" and also said that Autism is just a "cop-out". These are the parents of kids who have abused my son both physically and verbally in the past because of his being "different".

the way everything was worded at meeting seemed to be dodging around the fact that they don't want an ASD kid with odd behaviours scaring of "Normals"

On the weight loss side of things, despite it being shark week when I usually bloat up by about 1-3 kg I am down another kg, could be the stress or it could be because I have been super strict.

Sorry you and your son are having to deal with this. Discrimination against the differently-abled is far too common everywhere. He is a lucky kid to have a supportive Mom who will go to bat for him (no baseball pun intended).

:iagree: with LaMa Tru. The baseball unintended pun is a good one though & I would give them a big whack with a virtual baseball bat. That bloody sucks. Some people are F@*^ing idiots! xoC

unfortunately the nature of small towns is that some people have far more power than their ability to think, and If you not part of the in crowd it can be tough.

my son does have a bit of big head today, he received a package from one of the universities asking him to participate in a study of elite athletes - so he is now a bit full of himself because somebody has recognised him as elite lol

food wise today has been ok, probably ate to little, was not hungry at all, had to force myself to eat

I hate Shark Week

Breakfast is not essential

There are studies out there that show that skipping breakfast is not harmful, including one study which showed that those on the trial ate an average of 400 calories less in a day.

unfortunately many studies are behind pay walls so not easily linked to

some older studies of breakfast consumption were poorly designed in that correlation in not causation by not removing the other known causes of adverse health effects from the study it is not possible to isolate skipping breakfast as the cause of those problems.

That makes me sooooooo ANGRY re: your son! :cuss:

People can just be so Hateful due to their Ignorance!

My brother and sisters have CAH and since they don't have white blood cells, they are on so many meds to act like them and help them stay alive.. They are also Salt-Losers to go along with it.

The hormones/meds really affected my sister S and she has always been solid as a rock... not fat or big boned, just solid/thicker. When she was in high-school, they kicked her off basketball team bc they said she was too powerful and a danger to the other player's. What pure horse-sh**!! They got away with it due to her meds and CAH saying that she was at risk health wise.
