Leslee's Diary - This time I'm doing it for me...

Yeah it's good to have abreak every now and then mumma....

Just don't have a 2 week break like i just did :eek:

I miss you heaps and hope everything is going great.

Did 15 minutes on bike and 15 minutes on stepper at 6am this morning before work then rounded off the day well, just did 20 minutes on my stepper and 15 minutes on my bike, with 130 stepsx3 intervals spread at beginning, middle and end of workout.

total - 390 steps (whew did my thighs burn, I really sprinted)

Total exercise today then is about 1 hour 10 minutes give or take...

Calories burned - 633
Calories eaten - 871 (I know too low again, but I ate really well)

Special k cereal for breakfast
Fruit and crunch muslei bar for snack
Beef and vege soup for lunch with a pear and orange
Sweet and sour chicken (lite, home cooked) for tea
V8 vegetable juice following workout

So even though calories were low my fruit and veg intake was good...so :)

Heres to a good week!
 
You are so close to your goal! You have really done a good job sticking to it. It's amazing that with kids and working, you still get to the gym. I'm impressed! Keep it up = you're so close!!!

Today -

30 minutes on stepper, 5 minutes of that using weights for arms as well

30 minutes on bike

Total calories burned today - 520
Total calories eaten today - 986

Going ok....hopefully I lose more than a pound this week
 
:cool: I am watching those cals still sneaking below the 1200 cal mark. Remember this is a change for good...for life....you can't stay that low forever so try to make choices you know you can stick with forever, not just "until"! Great job working out though! I need to start fitting in a PM workout more frequently!

Just checking in to see how things are going and I just peeked at your stats and you are so very close to your goal. you must be feeling pretty good right about now. I have said this many times before and Iit is worth saying it again. You are an inspiration.
 
Yep I know those calories seem to be sneaking below 1200, it is actuall funny because on all my graphs it fluctuates from about 800 to 1500 or so on a high day....

Before I started tracking this my calories in the week were actually not that high, it was all the horrible snacks I had and also because my big calorie days were BIG calorie days.

I find it hard to keep my calories at 1200, but my diet is really, really good full of fruit and vegetables, and the meals I have are no different from how I used to eat before....

anyway I only tend to have a couple of low days...it is really hard keeping calories up since I cut out bread...however I am re-introducing this in the form of pita bread today, so that should up the calories;)
 
Hi there...just wanted to drop by and see what you have been up to. And what I see is that you are one exercising mama!!!!! It makes me tired just thinking about it.

Your dedication is so admirable and such a good influence on the rest of us. Thank you for that!
 
Well Haylee had a great birthday, went to mcdonalds for lunch and I had a deli choice roll...yummy!

Ended up being my 'cheat day' whicjh I just read that nutritionists recommend...yippeee, as we had pizza hut for dinner(haylees choice)

only got in one 30 minute session on my bike yesterday, and worked till 6pm tonight so only got in one session of 30 minutes in the morning on my stepper.

Ate about 1300 calories today. Much better than 800, but not as good as 1200...oh well:p

Feeling a little unmotivated but I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of things
 
Just dropping by to say hello Mum! Don't kids just love McD's?? I swear it's the toys and the playgrounds. They lure you in. haha I think it was the qtr pounder that snagged me. lol

Hope your weekend was good. We all get those unmotivated feelings from time to time. I would imagine that they probably get worse the closer to goal we get, which is so backwards!!! Do you feel like you've worked so hard and you are so close....why won't it just get here already??

You've got three pounds to go....that is amazing. I can't wait to be in your shoes!!!!
 
Things are going well, have fitted in 5 exercise sessions this week, and will do another tonight, not to bad for 3 days....

I usually exercise for 30 minutes in one session and this week have been doing a lot of skipping, work on my exercycle, work on my stepper and stair running...

I have also been throwing in a lot of work on my abs, legs and arms into my evening circuit training...

Eating is going well, just under 1200 most days. Was about 900 yesterday, but I was full so that was good!:D

Have been throwing a lot of my normal food back into my diet, and watching my quantities, tonight we are having healthy choice fries with our boneless, skinless chicken breasts...yummy!

Five exercise sessions in three day? You are a dynamo!!! I see your ticker is down too, only 1 kg to go. That is so inspiring! With all this exercising you are probably toning and building so much muscle which explains the slow moving scale here at the very end. I bet you are much thinner and firmer at your current weight than anytime you were previously at that weight. Know what I mean? So happy for you!
 
I'm amazed that you can have 1300 calories on a "cheat" day. Wow, I don't even know what to say! That's some discipline. As you can see it's getting you to your goal really quickly, so keep up the good work. They say maintaining is harder than losing (like anything could be harder than this) so be careful to try to be healthy & gradually increase calories while you maintain your weight.
 
Thanks for popping by my journal. You are doing so well. Only 2.5lbs or 1kg to go. You have got to be feeling a little like your on cloud 9 by now. Can't wait until it's my turn. Fantastic!
