Leslee's Diary - This time I'm doing it for me...

Way to go on your first day without bread. You can do it!!!! Just chant with me now....Bread is EVIL!!!! LOL!!!!

Well another good day..got in my two workouts today.

Did 15 minutes on bike and 15 minutes of stepper this morning...

Skipped for 30 minutes tonight.

No bread again today of any sort....:D

Total calories eaten - 1125
Total burned by exercise - 552

So all going well, thanks ladies for your support, it sooooooooo helps!!!

Good job on the bread denial, I don't really like bread, but I do love sugar, so that's probably what I should be giving up. Willpower is such an impressive thing (and I totally lack it). Keep up the good work!

I managed to fit in 30 minutes on my stepper this morning and did 5 minutes on my arms as well.

Not going to get to the exercise tonight unfortunately as am looking after the kids by myself tonight and by the time I had picked them up, gone to the shops, cooked dinner, done showers and bedtime I just don't feel like doing it...not to worry have done 3 and a half hours of exercise this week starting from monday so that is ok....

No bread today either....yippeeee!:D

Congratulations....you are doing great on the bread ban. Are you noticing any difference in the way you feel?

Hi

Just checking in to see how the bread thingy was going. I did pretty good actually I'm quite proud of myself. And I see that you did good as well. Do you think you are going to keep it up? I think I'm going to reduce my bread intake to only one meal a day.

Your doing so well.

Hi ladies...

managed to fit in 30 minutes on the bike this morning, am still debating whether I will do any more exercise tonight...

No bread again today so that is 4 days now...

Don't know if it makes any difference, but it certainly lowers my calories. I think I will go back to allowing myself pita bread, but will try to keep all white bread out of weekends where possible as this is the only time I ever eat white bread.

Went down a pant size this week (am now size 12 that is 10 american) very happy about that!

:D

Yipeee am really happy, weighed myself this morning and have lost 4lbs this week, I now am at my mini goal weight!!! That makes me finally a healthy weight for my height, first time in over 4 years!

I can't really pinpoint a reason for such good weight loss, but it could be the not eating bread, though I had that terrible weekend with my bread last week, it is more likely to be the up in cardio work I have done, 4 and a half hours this week and about to go downstairs to make it five!

Managed to make 5 days without bread, have to have two slices today as we go to visit my grandmother and she feeds me two slices of toast with tomato, she is 95 so won't go hurting her feelings to tell her no!

Going out for tea tonight, but I am pretty confident in my willpower now, and as I get closer to my goal I need to get used to real life again and slowly build up my willpower and my portion control again.

well better get my little boy dressed and then get downstairs to exercise, hubby has gone to golf for the day!:D

Wow 4lb in one week that's fantastic and you've reached your mini goal too! It's a fantastic achievement for you to now be in the correct weight heading for your height! That's my first major goal too! I hope you'll be staying around now that you've lost all the weight, we'd miss you if you went away!

Huge congratulations on your weight loss and reaching your mini goal, that’s wonderful.
Yep I would say that exercise has had a lot to do with such a wonderful loss but don’t underestimate the power of bread lol. You have done well to not eat it for 5 days. I hope you’re proud of yourself.

Thanks ladies...

no chance of me going away....lol I really want to lose these last 4 or 5lb and then see where to next....

I need the accountability desperately, and even when I meet my major goal I am going to be around and filling in my fitday journal everyday, if I dont I fear I will lose my way again...

:D

Did 30 minutes on the bike this morning and worked so hard there were little wet splotches of my sweat all over the concrete...hee hee

WOW, four pounds and a pant size!!! That is INCREDIBLE!!!!!

See, your body needed a "shake up" and the bread thing did it. You are only four pound from goal!!!! I am thrilled for you. I'm almost as excited as if I was the one who lost the four pounds!! LOL !!! :)

Once you reach goal, we are really going to need your guidance on maintenance. You can be our maintenance guinea pig and we can all learn from you!!! What do you think?

Congrats again and hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Heee hee yep and I will need your guide on maintaining too lol.

I already have some ideas, about what exercise regime I will maintain, I know I don't want to keep exercising twice a day and probably don't need to to maintain, I don't plan to change my diet too much, just the odd treat here and there...

Still debating whether or not to lose a little more, my 10lb goal this month is 5lbs away...but will see how I look and feel when I get to the goal I set myself...I know 65kg wouldn't sit that badly on me either that would be
143lbs but will cross that bridge when I get to it...my goal was to be healthy not super skinny, but now I'm losing weight and liking what I see in the mirror, it is like my brain thinking hey 5 more kg wouldn't hurt would it???

I have to be careful as just as I am compulsive in eating, I am in exercise and not eating...(sounds silly, was anorexic for a very short while as a teen) it is that search for perfection I am always on....sad:confused:

:D Just finished 40 minutes on my bike - 520 calories, I don't usually exercise hard on Sundays but want to get into the habit of exercising every day, so I can cut out the twice a day sessions eventually.

Have only eaten 329 calories so far today and it is almost 5pm.

did have a tiny bit of cheese bread today, but my weekend has not been a bread one this weekend so that is great...no bread at all again for me this week, will see how that goes and then the following week I will re-introduce pita into my diet.

I am so happy right now, I went shopping as none of my dress pants fit me and wow these small pants fit me, a size 12 (size 10 american) but a brand that are usually way to tight even in 14 and I have to say they looked fantastic!!!!! I was so thrilled, finally I could look in the changing room mirror and like the person looking back at me! One of the tops I bought even had small written on it.....lol I'm not small, don't even want to be but the happiest I've been with my body for over 6 years, and smaller than I've been in 6 years!

Total cardio this week - 6 hours 10 minutes!!

I can't believe the extra confidence I have....and I am not a shy person anyway...lol!
