i'm feeling much better :D

today i'll go to my yogalates class (yoga+pilates lol) we'll see how that one goes since i've never done pilates in class. some yoga yes. i'm gonna go with my own pace. slowly lol...
they told me i can stay for one more class if i want because i was sick and couldn't make it earlier. but since its a high-gear dance workout i doubt i'll be able to follow it today. hell i was exhausted after walking 20 minutes yesterday. so i'm gonna go easy today.

i bought a very nice light purple yoga mat :D i really started paying attention to my breathing while getting myself through positions and i noticed i can do it with more flow :D so me happy.

the food has also been very good. been eating very light food. i'm still staying away from most veggies just because i need easy digestion. and i feel good.
 
Sorry you've been sick, Lena. I hope it's done with soon.

A nice light purple yoga mat, eh? Well that would make anyone happy. :D Very cool.

i went to my yogalates class and absolutely loved it. the atmosphere was really relaxing...nice music, awesome lighting. we started with yoga positions, salutes to the sun, breathing. although the instructor didn't focus that much on the breathing part. however i was incorporating the breath and the movement. then we moved on to pilates exercises and finally ended with yoga positions.it was very engaging and relaxing at the same time. i felt good after. today i woke up with sore muscles in my lower abs, thighs and butt lol. always a good thing hehe.
today i'll do my yoga practice at home on my new mat :D and maybe even try some of the positions i learned yesterday. i also signed up for following classes next week:

monday: dance class
thursday: power yoga
friday: target zone
saturday: dance class

tuesday and wednesday i will dedicate to my friends and to myself by going to movies, cofee and doing gorceries and stuff. if i feel like it i will do some exercises at home :)

hehe if i ever get that kind of ass i will be on the moon and back. literally. yogalates is difficult...but i was able to feel every muscle in body...i felt elongated and relaxed afterward.
 
a bit of dream come true :)

yesterday i felt like my childhood dream came to reality...in a weird form and i loved every second of it. and it was on the dance class. now like most girls i wanted to be a dancer...i wanted to be a dancer ever since i can remember but because of life's little facts i could never do it.

yesterday i went to my new dance class and OMG :eek: people i have never and i mean NEVER in my life felt this way. you how sometimes things look surreal to you. that's how i felt...i was once again 13 years old and dancing right next to ivona and was thinking...I'M DANCING!!! LIKE FOR REAL!!!WITH A CHOREOGRAPHER!!!!! LOL that little girl inside of me was ready to burst to tears and sing at the same time. :party:
off course nothing of this showed on my face...except me smiling all the time lol

anyway the class was really fun. 15 minutes harder choreography, then 20 minutes power yoga+pilates combination, some more dancing and finishing with nice stretching and breathing. i do wish she repeated the choreography from the beginning. i just love finishing in a high gear before stretching. but still the class is full of variety. felt awesome. i still do lol.

this morning i weighed. only 1lb lost...but that's probably because of my period and being sick. i should have lost much more because i was on very low calorie diet and still exercising. but i'm not worried...it will go off eventually. i am only sorry i can't contribute with more points to my team :D hopefully next week.

today and tomorrow i'm dedicating myself to my friends so no gym. i do plan on doing some yoga at home...at least for 30 minutes. i enjoy practicing positions and let me tell you...i am getting better. i can dive in towards the floor with my legs straight and touch the floor with my fingers. still can't put my hands on the floor but that will come eventually. and i enjoy observing the changes in my body. i noticed i walk taller and with more confidence. i feel more confident.
 
Good work on the excercise :) sounds like you had fun with the dance class, sounds like you're onto a winner if you've found excercise you enjoy that much!

Yoga is great!Im glad ytou are experiencing hte benefits of yoga now too:)The more you practise the easier it gets and the more you can do and do longer...Just wait till next time you and the man have sex:D!

Fucking fantastic. I KNEW this was a good idea! Just what you needed, and nice association with childhood/adolescence. Dare I say you were sort of shorted on being a kid, growing up? Now you can make up for it as an adult, and that's.....too good for words :beating:

lol i was always very bendy and flexible :D the only problem when it comes to yoga is with the inversions like cobra and such. will manage them eventually hehe

thanx :) i checked out that page you were mentioning in your diary and it seems i have problems with anxiety also. well i didn't find it very surprising. i noticed i am letting fear in more often than i did before. i start thinking about the bad instead of focusing on the positive. i am trying to change that behavior and i am noticing some progress.

yep I am trying Val :) i can sense more benefits when i incorporate breathing. i feel much much better.

In some ways i was shortened on being a kid...mainly because i shut the memories. by repressing the bad stuff i also repressed the good ones too.
hehe some things i will never be able to do and I'm ok with that. but doing things that remind me just a little bit of those dreams felt soooooo fuckin' good hehe

oh well the last part didn't quote well.

anyway. i am still a bit dizzy and with headaches and waiting for it to pass.

yesterday i did 60 minutes yoga...tried some new positions and i noticed i have some problems doing inversions...not so much towards the ground but off the ground...like cobra and similar. i hope once my weight goes further down i will be able to grab my ankles from behind. these are definitely positions i cannot strain myself doing because of my history with lower back problems. so slowly it is.
and another one that will take time to practice is stepping in after downward dog or plank position into lunge position. no way i can step out all the way where my hands are. so hope this gets better too. i'm positive it will :)

sooo today is the power yoga class. ivona told me that this class is more demanding, and is focused on the flow of positions. i'll find out more today :) after yoga i'm meeting some friends for drinks. so busy me today. no alcohol though. things are dizzy enough as it is lol.
