Ok at work now. Had a GREAT cardio day! I finally hit a milestone. 8.05 miles in 60 minutes at level 10 resistance! I have been trying to get that for 3 weeks now and finally, the hard work has paid off. i hard to work super hard on it. just focusing on breathing and keeping the mph up. i never was out of breath, but my legs were definitely feeling the burn. Feels good to finally accomplish that feat. hopefully i can do it again, then 8.5, then 9, then level 15 and start all over again at 6. my legs must rival those of an ox now lol. anyway, how's everything going for everyone else?

oh yeah, i'm pretty much relaxing for the rest of the day. no tennis or anything. going to be nice. anyway, hungry going to kitchen to probably get a bottled water and nutrigrain bar.



WOW! I didnt even know they still had nutrigrain bars!!!! YUM! my mom use to pack those for me in my lunch.

I got carnation instant breakfast packs yesterday at the store.... the no sugar added ones... im kind of excited to try that again... its been years!!! since the middle school days actually, since ive had that. Might be a yummy breakfast on the go!

way to go on that cardio buddy. When you do treadmill cardio... what speed and incline do you use??? Just wondering for example. I wanna try to increase my cardio work out now that i can run on speed 6 with no heavy breathing or major struggle.. my bod needs challenge!! :hurray:

Just doing a driveby hello. Good to see you're still going strong. Every time I read your workout reports I just get this image of this well built dude stomping into the gym and giving a huge roar before hitting the machines...
 
friday good times.

So friday, yes! so glad the week is just about over. today was interesting. I decided to up the number of step levels i jump on from 12 to 13 then 14, and one of the guys saw me doing it. when i came back over to the free weights area (where we all are 90% of the time. he starts to comment on how high i can jump and such. A couple of guys were like NO way! i gotta see this, lets go now! i'm like are you serious? he's like hell yeah i'm serious! i gotta see this. So after i do it, he's like "aww hell naw! not me, how long you've been doing this?" I told him how i just started this week and he was like well all i can say is good job man.. lol. I had me an audience. when i left the exercise room on my last set, people on the elliptical and treadmills were clapping and telling me that it was impressive to see a guy my size jump so high like that, and so many times. Its funny to me. I am flattered, but it lets you know whatt people expect when they see you and it also lets them knnow how much more they could be doing, so in a sense it motivate them. people are trying more pull ups now because i can do a few. i even did some with my legs straight out, and the wore my abs out!!! but anyway, i did two circuits. this week was a lazy week kinda becaus ei ususally do three, but with the dips and pull ups and vertical jumps, i am a lot ore run doiwn after two sets, may next week or the week after i can hit 3 if i don't change it up before hand, which i will most likely do. gotta love the gym.

so i am aboutt to head tot he gym. EXCITING!!! anyway, just wanted to share something. yesterday i was scheduled to play tennis. I'm at work and i realize i brought no clothes for tennis, so i figure i can run to target and buy a shirt and some shorts for cheap. I ge there and i find the shorts and shirts and the prices for bother were Small- xtra large 9.99. XXL-11.99! So i grab the Extra large of both and sure it enough they fit like a charm! its nice to save so much money on clothes now thanks to smaller sizes. things are going great! ok off for that full body workout!

That is pure awesome.

I'm waiting until I change size to buy any new clothes. It is going to be cool to be able to buy XL or even XXL and have them be loose.
 
i just bought new jeans 2 sizes smaller than when i started. my dtr gave me this cute hoodie but its tight on me, so thats my "goal" shirt. should be only about 5 pounds before I can wear it then i can get a diff goal peice of clothing...

Well, this weekend was pretty eevntful, graduatoin party, a date, and about 4 hours of tennis. good times. i went out nto eat every day this weekend, so it kinda slowed down the wieght loss process, but i did manage to lose a pound so good times there. i need to get dressed for work now, btut i'll be back.

oh, as far as the workout goes, today was 95% dumbells full body circuit. i did three circuits. I think i may try to increase my weight a little more. I've been avoiding, becasue i want to lose and not gain mass. It will be a very gradual growth, just enough to try aqnd keep the muscle i do have. i tried 315 today and i got it about a quarter up, so i think i am losing stregnth, which is to be expected, but i want the best of both worlds lol.

Well K, hope everythign is great for ya...I am doing driveby's cuz i am going out of town and dont know if I will have internet access (BAH)...I think thats what is keeping me from being excited about going...annnnnyyyyyyway....hope your week is a successful one!

SO i am house sitting... its ok. but i found a routine that can work. i go to the house, sleep wake up at 4:30, go to the gym, which is the opposite way to work. since i'll be done so early, head to my house, which is on the way to work, relax eat. pay bills browse net blah blah, oh yeah shower, and head to work. today it worked like a charm. just 5 more days, well four since i don't work saturday. Today was cardio day. My endurance is going up. i put in 8.2 miles in 60 min. 8.5 including five min cool down. it was 960 cals total. This is up from 8.05 on thursday. Before then i never could manage 8 miles on level 10. When i get to 9 i will move up to 15. I am so impressed with myself. i am really pushing hard. I can't wait to be in mike position where i can focus on building stregnth, but i just want to maintain til i lose a bit more. i'm only 5'8" and 277, so i am not quite where mikezorr is yet. but i'll get there in the next couple months.

Story time. i'll keep it short. so saturday at my sisters graduation party, it was the first time most of my family had saw me since xmas. boy were they surprised when they saw me. I was getting comments like where's the rest of you! and some people were saying they feel bad for my ex now because i look so good lol. After that i went on a date, and i was getting the same thing from my date. she lives 4 hours up state, so she isn't around too often, but when she comes down we hang and now we go out. its fun times. you goes, i heard you lost some weight, but you are like half the size you were before! she was impress, as she is trying to lose weight too, and has lose about 11 or 12 lbs. so it was a good weekend indeed. Yesterday i got in about 1.5 hours of tennis, which would have been 2 hours, but i wanted to check out this spanish group around 8 pm. it was crazy everyone was just speaking in spanish, even when i approached, they only spoke to me in spanish, and it was so overwhelming i forgot everything in a instant, lol. but i warmed up to it and maybe i'll go again. who knows. Well that's all i got for now, i'll be playing tennis again today post work, so that'll be fun. i think i'll take wed and thurs off from tennis and maybe play friday. talk you you peeps soon.

I just realized today that my right shoulder is more cut than my left. I think I need to do an extra set of reps on my left shoulder because I use my right for everything at work.

It pays off in the end. Trust me. I'm not even attempting to look nice of whatev and I get cat calls. haha. Yeah. weird.

Anywho, you are doing good man. You going to bulk back up when you hit a certain weight?
 
I love your workout mentality, and I wish I could play tennis, but I fear I'd injure my elbow and, I probably need to get a bit stronger first. You've done an exceptional job, and your commitment to losing weight is paying off big time. :)

tennis was awesome alst night. 2.5 hours. hot stuff,a nd i play extremely well tons of ball controll with tons of power. that is the formual for hitting a lot of winners, and i did that a lot. Got my 3 circuits in today. and people are still shocked that i can jump that high. a guy told me that people are talking about it when i'm not around, about "the big guy that can jump really high and do pull ups too" half the people know me by name, so i assume its the quiet regulars who are talking, feels good non the less. man i did flat bench and was scared to go up to 225 due to lack of sleep and being so tired. i ended up failing out of my last set of deips around 8. and i didn't think i could pull off the alst set of vertical jumps, but i did. i think after next week i am going to go for 34 inches, so i can say i can jump up to something half my height and my crazy weight. i want to at 40 inches, when i lose all this extra me. nothing tonight but rest and relaxation. next tennis day will most likely be saturday, unless friday is really nice, then i'll do a 5th day of tennis. trying to think i believe i have logged in about 9 hours of exercise so far this week. so i know i have at least to more hours just from the gym alone, then about 2-4 with tennis depending on if i play one or 2 days. so 13-15 hours looking like this week , which is what i want about two hours a day on average.



haha. I don't even know how I'm doing it. Persistence is key tho. I'm sure you have plenty of muscle mass like me. I use the new cuts etc as motivation. Its really starting to pay off. oh i know how you are doing it lol. just pushing through and adding more weight! i don't know what i am going to do yet. i do have a ton of muscle mass, but like i said you are at a weight where you can make that decision. I'm not quite there yet. as far as cuts and stuff. my arms you can see the definition in. my tris pop out . my quads are effin huge. for leg extention i max out the machine at 255 and then i add a couple of 5 pounders on top of it just to get a good burn. I also measured and i am jumping about 32 inches. which is almost half my height ( i am 68 inches). There is loads of definition in my upper and mid chest, i got all the cuts and bumps there. i hold all my weigh in my lower chest, stomach inner thigh and underarm. Almost dead center. But 277 is still a bit high for me to start adding weight. i mean i am beanching 205-225 on flat in decline and 185 -205 on incline. not shabby at all up to six pullups wide or close, and i do dips like a mutha. SO everything is there, as i slim down everything is just popping out and i'm like whoa! no one ever guesses my weight, probably because i am short lol. But bulking, i don't think i need to too much. i have a naturally large build, where i can't even wrap my fingers around my wrist, and there is no fat there. so we'll see how it goes, i should [post pics sometime soon and maybe i will.
