better is doing fine, but a little tweak here and there, nothing major, but i rather it fully heal before getting back to my rigorous exercises. i am a little bummed about it, but i'm slowing convincing myself i needed this break, so i won't beat myself up about it. anyway. hope everyone is doing well. and since there is a 90% chance that m marie will stop in i will just say hi to you as well:)

hehe. well glad to hear the back is doing better... sometimes your body just needs a little break. relax today and hopefully you will be back in the swing of things soon! I am out of my funk today.

That is the right attitude, rest yourself up and make sure you are better cuz if you go over do it and then mke things worse you are outta commission longer than before adn doing yourself or body no good...lol

And our bodies do need rest from time to time from exercise

back in action!

alright alright, everyone calm down. i'm back to writing in my own journal since i officially am back to the the gym. I hit the elliptical and took it a tad easier pushing through 8.5 miles. good times indeed. I too like schwa took a peak at the scale to see where i was since i hadn't worked in in 4 days... and it said 296, which i'm pretty happy about. no complaints there i had a huge lunch, and i am trying to ride it out before i take in dinner buy just snacking around. i'll pretty much snack for the rest of the day, with no HUGE meal for dinner. Melissa, thanks for rooting me on. i'd never leave my fans behind. i need to motivate people and stay motivated. its amazing how peopel all over the world, only known to each other as words on a screen can do so much for each other. i brains can be so simple at time! so here we go again! round 2 of weight loss. i am finally starting to feel slimmer now!

oh on another note, i have to say i am so very lucky to have the build that i have. there is a guy who weighs about 3-4 pounds more and about 6 inches taller, and if you say us side by side, you would think i was 40-50 lbs lighter. Last week i saw pics of myself from 2007. That is when i first decided that weight loss was absolutely necessary for me. i was about 80 lbs heavier, maybe even 100. i saw those pics and was just floored. I told me ex girlfriend
(we are still friends, and she was there when i saw the pics) that what was she thinking dating me. i must have a super magnetic personality, because man o man.... but its good to see the results and be humbled and realized where i came from and where i could end up if i don't take care of myself. anyway. i'll be browsing. good to be back peeps!
 
back on the routine!

morning all! it feels soooooooooooooooo good to be back to normal! hit the gym today. changed to workout again. it was the same superset of chest and back, but this time the first superset was 3 sets of 30 and the second was 3 sets of 20/15. today was also another weigh in, and i lost another 3 pounds! looks like stella got his groove back. so that puts me at 294. if i can hit 290 by next monday i will be where i planed to be all along. 300 by march and then minus 10 pounds every month after that. so in theory, when may hits i should be at 280 and so on. ok. time to go see what schwa had to say then its off to shower and work!

hey guys went to the store to find out what size clothes i wear... it was kinda cool. since none of the clothes here that i have fit anymore i decided to see where i was. my findings were that i can wear an extra large shirt and a size 38 pant. awesome, if i do say so myself. i don't know they last time i wore anything in the 30's for pants. Exxxciting. anyway. work was fast. wish it was friday lol. see you guys in the morning.
 
today was going great! until...

so i ended up do 9 miles in about 58:45 on the elliptical. which is effing awesome! I was going for 10 miles in 65 min. when my friend comes to me and tells me that someone cut his lock off and robbed him of his wallet. that really pissed me off. he seemed to be annoyed but not to angry about it. so that is good. so now he will make sure he keeps his valuable on his person. ok enough negative news...How is everyone's plans going? you know you are.. i'm talking to the thread regulars... schwa, amanda, melissa, relly...... report in!


on another note. I really, can't believe i was able to stay above 9 Mph for an hour! very impressed with myself. talk to you guys soon!

hey all, got through another day of working out. This one is for melissa: i went to bed at 2a.m. you see that! but guess what i did at 5:30a.m. I got up and hit the gym! I am pretty much a walking zombie. blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Today was legs. I feel like i have two spaghetti noodles attached to my waste. better yet a puppet with anchors for feet! i barely get my feet over steps! they are heavy. well feel that way. warm today was 1 mile on the elliptical. got it done in 5:45. i'll be giving tennis another go next week, and i am excited. my back feels great! talk to you guys soon!

I just bought that lil elliptical but i think i need to join the gym, i miss the elliptical!!!
 
Another day another workout..

So typical cardio day. I decided to start over now, since i can go so fast so long on the elliptical. so now, i have increased the resistance to 10 on the machine and once i get to nine miles an hour, i'll go up to twenty and so forth. so i did 6.5 miles today, which was nice. i kinda broke it up. the first half was at a resistance of 15, but after 30 min i went down to 10. so maybe sunday i'll hit 7 miles. anyway. all of my peeps are on forum vacation, so i guess. i check back later.
