Kureransu's Log.

So, how hot is it there?

Been quite cool here for the last several days. Rain and/or thunderstorm almost every day. On Monday night I was in the gym and just watching the rain pour down - it was actually kinda cool to watch while working out.

Thanks for the comments in my journal. It is always nice to know somebody's reading, isn't it? :)

its been in the low 90's high 80's all week :( yeah it is nice. but i noticed i ahve a TON of views so i guess i'm not that bad. i don't post picks or get to personal, so i figure most people just read the info and move on.

Friday friday.

Another friday, another EXCELLENT workout. Got in and got out. no time for jibba jabber lol. Full body circuits are beating em up, but it feels soooo goood. I've not played tennis since monday due to heat. Yesterday we had ice cream sundae day at work, where it was like a buffet and you make your own sundae. I had a little, making sure i didn't over do it, but it was good. A couple nights ago ate bread that i thought was good until the last bite where it had a weird aftertaste. I felt horrible all night. I look at the bread the next morening, and no mold. However, it expired june 10th, a whopping 2 weeks ago. ah well, lesson learned. this weekend i plan on relaxing and sat i have a date, so we'll see how that goes.... talk to you cats later. As far as eating goes, since i never post it, yesterdays was this

bowl of cheerios
nutrigran bar,
apple.
Caesar salad wrap with a teaspoon of dressing for flavor and keeping it moist.
talapia and brown rice.
nothing crazy. oh and a small sundae.

Hey bare. thanks for stopping in always appreciated. We all go through our funks so no worries. just make sure you get back on the horse.

Natsky: it has been a while! congrats on the loss and finding happiness. Everything is falling into place for you and that is awesome. thanks for stopping by. I'll be visiting your diary soon indeed.

As far as this weekend goes, it was bitter sweet. Friday i injured my wrist playing tennis. I tried to play again today but to no avail. So i am out of tennis for the week...... Food intake is pretty standard i ate pretty late yesterday, maybe more than i should have, but oh well. I am thinking about leaving the scale alone for a few weeks. just want to let time go by and see if i get some good results or whatnot. I tried on some old shorts the other day. they were size 50. I could fit bot legs into one leg now lol. it was great! also when i went shopping friday i found out that i can fit a size 36, so i bought aq pair of shorts to show it off!! also i can probably comfortably wear a large shirt now, but i won't be buying any any time soon. i just have a few i use as undershirts and see they are nice and looser now. lol. slowly gertting smaller, and enjoying it. ok that's the weekend update talk to you guys soon.

Hey, Clarence.

Fitting into all these progressively smaller clothes must feel great!

Sorry about the wrist - I haven't played tennis in ages, myself. Just can't make it work, time-wise.

Here we go again!

OK i forgot to weigh in today, so oh well i was debating leaving the scale alone for a few weeks, just to not think about it. I got to work about about 6:45 am, since i got to the gym at about 5:15 instead of 5. I am sad because i can't play tennis this week, but i need my wrist to heal. i figure this week off will rejuvenate me even more or something. Work out was pretty intense though. I was pretty close to my limit today. i feels good pushing myself so hard. hopefully next week i'll be in the 250s but if not i'll be fine. i am noticing my shape slowly changing for the better. so that's good enough for me now.

Oh and cord, it is really nice to find out you fit smaller clothes. 36?!?!? at 265?!?! crazy. but i am doing it and i enjoy every moment. its an awesome feeling indeed, and i can't wait for all you guys to experience it as well.

Hey there! I am considering doing the same thing with the scale.... its totally something that may make the next two weeks a little less stressful and help me focus on what is really important... which is being healthy and feeling good!

I really really hope you are taking before and after pictures. I know you arent big on posting them on here.... but for your own satisfaction... and to look back on later :) Just my .02 :)

You inspire me..... keep up the good work hun!!!:driving:

you inspire me as well. we've come sooo far from the beginning of the year! I haven't taken pictures. don't be mad, but i just am not a camera fan. I plan on taking some afters at the end of the year, so i'll post my yearly loss. Did you read the post about the pants? i was sooo shocked by that, because i still look fairly the same to me. more definition is showing obviously, but my fat all hangs around in 3 locations. so those location i guess are egtting smaller obviously, but its proportionate, so i can't tell. one day i'll be able to say WTF?!? i look healthy?!? wow. but one day at a time.

hi Kure

I dont like camera's either..seems like I am always caught by my mother eating something..not flattering at all...

hope your week goes well and if laying off the scale is what you think will be good for you then DO IT....I can agree that sometimes the scale can be obsessive and can do a number on your brain....do whats best for you....

I am feeling better about my diet today...back on track I think..I guess I needed a "break" or something...

hope your week is great
Me

thanks bare. yeah i figure i'd show self control and such. i posted in your thread, so i'm not going to ask the same questions again, just thanks and i appreciate your visits.

Note to self.....

Wear thicker shirts on cardio days! today the gym was comfortable enough for me to finally do an hour of cardio without passing out. so another 1056 calories burned woooo. The t0shirt i wore today was thin, so i guess it couldn't hold in the gallon of sweat i released. i was dripping all over the place. it was absolutle disgusting. not only that, since all the sweat soaked to the bottom, my shorts and everything under were soaked as well. man i was irritated, but at least i got a good workout in! i am looking forward to the weekend. I am driving to grand rapids, which is about 2 hours west of me in michigan. should be good times haven't seen those peeps in about 2 years, so it'll be a refreshing experience. ah wait its was more 1 year and a couple months. but anyway. i hope my wrist is better because i love playing tennis with one of them.. ok back to work. there is a TON going on here and i have been modeling like crazy! i'll hit up other journals in a bit.

schwettty schwettty is good....burn those fat grams..burn baby burn, disco inferno..burn baby burn..burn the MUTHA DOWN..

hi kure

photoshops great...doing pretty damn good

i am back on track with food and exercise too

Hey Clarence,

I saw you post in Ben's thread the other day so I decided to read through your log. I am really impressed with your dedication to fitness. I'm also really jealous that you are able to have so low bodyfat and so much strength at your height and weight :reddevil:

I saw that you did circuit training (still do?) and it made me realise that I need to get serious with the weights, as to this point I've sort of been dabbling with isolation machines and not doing anything on a set workout schedule. I am pretty dedicated to the gym, making sure to get there at least 4 times a week, so I think I need to make my time there work more for my weight loss.

Is the idea of circuit training to keep your HR in the fat burn zone during the entire workout? sounds ideal for fat loss if so.

Anyways HUGE congrats on the work so far, I am now a fan of your log and will be checking in.

you hit the nail on the head. i do the circuits to get the weights AND keep my heart rate up. The only thing that kinda sucks about it is that i have to get to the gym when it opens at 5 am on weight days to make sure i have all the free weights i need open so i can set them up and just go. But i useally get there around 6 anyway, so one hour difference isn't too bad. right now i do 1-13 workouts, that varies ever couple days or so at 15 reps for 2 sets. when i get used to doing it with no rest between, i'll move up to 3 sets of 10. Just remember to gauge the weight you use correctly so you don't burnout too soon, or barf..... well anyway.. off i go to the gym. thanks for stopping by, and i'll have to find your journal and give it a once over.

Wednesday?

man, does it feel like it is later in the week! oh well i'll be fine. Today is kinda exciting a very good friend of mine is coming to town. she moved away like 3 years ago and she tries to come up twice a year. so i'll be heading straight to see her after work. yay! Today i was at the gym promptly at 5 and finished at about 5:45. nice solid circuit training. 2 circuits, 12 workouts, 15 reps or to failure. I am getting pretty buff. so i think its time for a change. i need to use less weight and impliment more cardio. i guess this week sucked because no tennis, but i want to get a tad bit smaller before i start defining. my upper chest is becoming VERY deinfed and my back is too which is nice, and could be just from weight loss as well. but i think if i lift a little lighter, i'm still benching 185, which was down from 205, which was down from 215 lol, but i was doing sets of 10 then as well. so maybe 150 at 2 sets of 20 or something like that. and maybe 20-30 min of cardio before weights on weight days just to get that heart rate up and such. we'll see i'll re-evaluate over the weekedn where they'll be grilled food! oh noes! my Achilles's heel, well it si grilled, and its the weekend, so i'll make sure i eat sparingly to make up for it. hopefully my wrist will be better and i can hit the court. we'll see. anyway. i am work, not working so let get back to finishing these models so i can ensure my departure at 3 pm. talk to you all later!

Clarence,

As always, your workouts are inspiring - almost to the point of being daunting. :)
I know I will get there one day, too.

I'm trying to increase my own weight training - my main problem is not doing it often enough. I hit the gym yesterday, but the last time before that was 5 days earlier. In between I make sure to swim and walk and stuff, but I need to get into the gym more often.

When I go it is usually after 8pm. Normally the place is pretty empty by then, but lately there has always been a bunch of young, annoyingly fit guys there. They aren't really a problem, outside of some equipment conflicts, but they do make me feel fat and wimpy just by their presence.

BTW - 36 pants is awesome! I'm now fitting well into the 42's that I stuck in the drawer for the past 2 years becasue they were too tight.

Sorry - I appear to have posted in your journal in order to talk about myself.

Have a great day and have fun with your friend!
