Kristi's Diary

Today is dragging. I went in to work at 9 and got home around 2:30, and now I have to go back in at 5:30.

Oh and I was looking at this camera on amazon and I added it to my shopping cart, and I wanted to see how much tax was, so I clicked on it, and the next screen said "Thank you for your order!" So...now I have a new digital camera on the way. lol

Today I haven't eaten too many calories, but I definitely haven't been eating very healthily.

Yogurt
Half a loaf of peasant bread
Cheese Stick
2 plain eggo waffles

whaaa? lol

I must confess, I have a Chipotle addiction. I am in love with the fajita burritos. They are starting to develop a lot of new restaurants around the city I live in and Chipotle was one of them. I had never had it, so I tried it and always wanted it, lol.... I've been trying to cut down. I guess it would be nice to see exactly how many cals and stuff are in what I order from there, so maybe I will have a better grasp on reality. We don't have Panera here yet but it seems that every food chain/restaurant is making it's way into SLC...

-Sam

Panera is sooo good. Once you get them, order up some baked potato soup in a bread bowl, and you will be in food heaven.

Okay...

WHAT AM I DOING?!?!?!

I've gone completely astray!!

No, no, no, no, no. I'm sick of always doing this. Why can't I stay consistent and strong? I feel disgusting. Ugh.

I've been eating like crap. I'm talking pizza, meatball subs, potato chips, and POP.

I have calmed down somewhat.

But seriously, what is wrong with me? I ate at 2, and I still feel like I won't be hungry again until summer.

So...I am going to weigh myself in the morning and start over again.

Tomorrow's meal plan...

Breakfast
Container of yogurt....100 calories

Snack
Quaker Mini Rice snacks....90 calories

Lunch
Banana w/peanut butter....200 calories
Grapes....75 calories
Carrots....20 calories

Total = 485
(not counting a second snack and dinner)

That's all I know for now. That and I am going to workout tomorrow...

Okay...Im back for another post. :)

I just got off the phone with my local YMCA, and I am really considering getting a membership there.

The monthly cost with tax is about $28, and then the first time I go in there is a one-time fee of $25. So the first month is about $55, and then it's $28 for every month after that.

That's pretty good, I think. And I desperately need a gym.

Hey Kristi. I'm so there with you on the :banghead: for some of the bad food I ate today. I had a praline (authentic from New Orleans) and 1/2 small order of fries with fry sauce.... Still at 2000 cals for the day but, there are still a few hours to my day left.

I pay 22.50 a month for my gym pass and feel like it is worth every penny, if you use it. Having a trainer right now, I am at the gym more than I have ever been in my life (usually about 4 times per week)... I think 28.00 is good.

-Sam:)

I've tried the food journal. I usually last for about 3 days.

Gained some weight over Valentine's Day weekend, but I had a talk yesterday with my college coach. I need to start getting serious. So I am.

The gym membership is going to be either with the Y or with another club that's about 5 minutes away called Premier at Sawmill. Here is the website...

The month will be 150 for both my mom and I, and then every month after that is going to be around 80. I'm leaning towards this gym because it has MUCH more equipment, more classes, a bigger and less crowded pool, and it's right around the corner. I'll pay my mom the difference if I need to.

You can see the illiac crest, nice. Somehow I have been blessed that no matter my weight I have those lines.

I wish you the best of effort in your journey.

Thanks tony...

I am so angry that I looked like that exactly one year ago, and now I look like a pos. GRRR!

OKay...but any way.

Today is DAY 1 of my 3rd (or 50th?) attempt to lose weight.

I'm not going to weigh myself for a while. I'm too scared. But I am going to eat well, and HOPEFULLY get a gym membership some time this week. If not, I know I'll have it for spring.

I want a bubble butt. I've decided that I hate my butt. I want a big, round, muscular butt. So...there.

And now that that's been said...I am going to go eat lunch. Veggie soup, homemade! Yum!

Hey Kristi.

That picture you posted is definite motivation. I love how your abs look in it. I've never really had a toned stomach and am determined to get one this time around. I've noticed though that I kind of have those lines you have too (they are kind of visible if I flex my abs really hard, there is definitely a pooch of fat on top of them still, lol).

Just keep that picture close to you so it can be a reminder of where you want to be at. I don't imagine your very far from it right now. I kind of have the same problem you do in this whole losing weight game. I will be good for a few days and then mess it all up. I can't keep my food journal for longer than a few days. I just gotta find my discipline again (it's within me somewhere) and go for it. I need to stick to a routine.

Sam,

I focused on my abs probably more than anything else, so that's why they looked decently defined. I long for that look, again...

I know what you're saying about the routine. I am definitely going to have to get into a routine with work, now. Last year I could go whenever I wanted, but now I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So I'm thinking I'll do a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday routine for the gym.

Okay so...

I am adding a new twist to this weight loss journal thing. And that twist is...

YOUTUBE! yay! I am going to make some videos tracking my progress (hopefully weekly). I am currently uploading my first video, and I am really excited about it. I love to talk, so maybe the reward of being able to talk and talk to no one in particular will motivate me to keep going!!

Here is the link to my site, and it is the video with me in the red shirt!

heyy kristi!

im 18, a freshman in college, and have about the same goals as you. im about 139 now, but id like to be down to 120 within the next couple months. i started tracking everything i eat on fitday.com its really easy and it shows you exactly how much you need to burn off, take in, etc... ive only been using it for about a week, but so far so good! good luck with everything!
