I worked at Applebee's for 3 years, and thankfully we didn't have to carry trays! I worked at another place with trays, and I HATED it! I was never good at carrying the trays! I was a waitress, but I have also done hostessing and curbside to-go! :)

How are things with the boyfriend?
 
It was embarrassing...

Things with the boy are going well. It's still hard with him being so far away, and we fight over stupid things, but the positives out-weigh the negatives. He's coming home on the 15th, so that we can celebrate Valentine's Day/3 year anniversary. :)
 
Glad to hear it!

The entire first year of my relationship was long distance, so I understand! It wasn't until after we had been together for over a year that we finally got to live in the same place!

It is very easy to fight over the dumbest things in a long distance relationship, but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives when the boy is worth it! :)
 
Always think about the positives. Otherwise you'll always be upset :)

Heres one hell of an exercise with stairs and yourself: bear crawl down the stairs. Give that a try and report back.

I think I'll try. Bear crawl down, sprint up. I'm afraid I'll start moving too fast when I get the hang of it and end up clipping myself, only to slide down the stairs and get a terrible case of rug burn.

But always think positives!!

Okay I come downstairs, and my mom is making my old-time favorite...Cinnamon rolls. UGGGH! Why does she do this? I'm having one....

I had 2 cinnamon rolls. :cuss:

So I had around a 500 calorie breakfast. Greeeat.

For lunch I had a bowl of Campbell's Chicken and Rice soup and also a bowl of organic salad with cucumbers and some Italian dressing. About 250 calories.

750 calories already. I have to wait all the way until dinner to eat. Time to chug some water.

I weighed in at 134 this morning.
 
Good to see you back :) Cinnamon rolls are very good, and probably pretty hard to resist when mom makes them for ya. At least you ate them in the morning, so you had the rest of the day to burn them off. Thats how I look at it sometimes.

The cinnamon rolls weren't that horrible. And I am currently at 134, so maybe they helped?

I tried to bear crawl down my stairs the other day. Oh. My. Gosh. Tony, you weren't kidding when you said they were hard. I was out of breath by the time I got to the 6th step. hah

It's supposed to be a tad bit warmer tomorrow, so I may go running. I hope it doesn't rain. But even if it does, I will still do my stair thing. How embarrassing would it be if someone opened my front door and looked in to see my trying to bear crawl down my stairs. It would give them a good laugh, that's for sure.

I'm very happy with the results of last nights football game. :) And my favorite commercial was the stain the got silenced by the shout pen. I don't know why, but I was cracking up.

Staying home from school today, and I weighed in at 132.5 this morning! YES! Finally some scale action.

I had a bowl of Rice chex for breakfast. About 200 calories.

Bear Crawl down the stairs. Is that just like crawling on your hands and knees down the stairs? I might have to try that.

The superbowl was pretty good, I must admit. I was watching it with people who wanted the Giants to win, so they got their wish I guess. The commercials were pretty good too. The only two I can really remember are the one with Naomi Campbell and the dinosaurs, and the chubby guy with the sparkplugs on his nipples, lol. Oh and the one with the horses for Anheusier...

Bear crawling is like on your hands and feet with your butt sticking up in the air. The only reason I know is because my boyfriend used to have to do them for football, and he showed me one day. They are MUCH harder than just crawling down, though.

Today I had a total of about 1200 calories. :)

Tomorrow's meal plan...

Breakfast
Yogurt...100 calories

Snack
Bag of Honey Bunches of oats...140 calories

Lunch
1 cup of buttered tortellini...260 calories
Salad...100 calories

Dinner
????

Total (not including dinner) = 700 calories

I'll probably throw in a snack in between lunch and dinner.
 
I never kid. :D How many stairs do you have? Sammy you go on your hands and feet, not knees. What it does is it causes your butt to lift up and puts the majority of your weight onto your upper body. Its not an easy task.

Another good no equipment movement is the handstand. I do these and have gotten much better at actually being able to take a few steps. Use a wall to balance and get the strength.

When you get the hang of it Kristi, go back up backwards...
 
Wow. Walking like a bear on your hands and feet (not knees)... That does sound hard. I might give it a try. I got a decent set of stairs at my house, so it would be possible. I'm just so uncoordinated that I'm afraid I'd lose it and start doing accidental somersaults down the stairs, lol.

BTW... I love love love the Macaroni Grill. I actually went there last week (bad me, lol) and some Shrimp Portifino and their Bruschetta. They have the best Bruschetta I've ever had.

I read back a little and I'm sorry to hear about all the crap thats going on in your life right now. When it rains, it pours I guess. I hope things work out for the best :) Awesome about Wittenburg, that will be lots of fun I'm sure.

Heeeello, Same. I agree with you on the Macaroni Grill food...I love the Penne Rustica, but I have done a very good job at resisting.

Soo tonight I don't have much of an appetite. Not sure why...I had a salad, but nothing else. Hmmm...

Well, I gained a little weight back after I had a fairly large dinner the other night. My mom made breakfast casserole (for dinner, ha) and it was sooo good. I had waaay too much. So I am at 134ish, but I'm thinking that tomorrow morning I'll be at 133. I hope, any way.

Still haven't gotten around to working out. Grrr...I just come home and crash every day around 1. Today I fell asleep at 1:45 and didn't wake up until 4:45. I've fallen into this lazy habit, and now I can't break out of it. I'm gonna come home tomorrow and blare my music. AC DC, Kanye, Lincoln Park are all great for getting me off of my butt.

What else? ummm, how about today's food.

Breakfast
Cocoa Krispies......200 calories

Lunch
Wild grain rice........200 calories
Green Beans......50 calories
2 breaded chicken patties......300 calories

Dinner
Salad with Italian dressing......150 calories

Total = 900 calories


A little low...

So. I've not eaten much today. So far I've had...

Yogurt (100 calories)
Cheese Crackers (80 calories)
Fruit Bar (140 calories)

So I have had 320 calories, and we are closing in on dinner. I'm thinking of getting a chipotle burrito bol tonight, and splitting it in half. I went on this Chipotle lover site where it adds up the calories for my specific selection, and it came to about 352 for half of the bowl. Then I could have some other stuff as sides. Sounds delicious. :)

Haven't exercised...I don't know what is stopping me. I wish I was more motivated in that area.

Fruit Bar (140 calories
Bowl of Cereal (230 calories)
Panera Meal (520 calories)

Total = 1190 calories for the day

probably more towards 1290 because I snacked a little...

At Panera I had a french baguette, a bowl of Low Fat Garden Vegetable soup, and half of a chicken salad sandwich on whole grain bread. YUM! :)

I worked out for about 10 minutes today. ha.
