As I planned it out today I am at 1443 calories today although I haven't eaten them all yet.

I am going to start posting my food (when I can)
Breakfast:
Cornflakes and banana and 1 cup soy milk
473 calories

Snack:
Non fat yougurt
75 calories

Lunch:
Grilled chicken, spinach and red peper pizza
290 calories

Snack:
Part skim Mozarella Cheese and low sodium V8
204 calories

Dinner:
Home made BBQ Chicken Packet and brown rice (with garlic, onion, red and green pepper)
low sodium V8
331 calories

Snack:
Chocolate fudge bar (Bryers)
70 calories

Total: 1443 calories

Exercise:
30 mins curves workpout
25 mins slim in 6

Thanks, My Great Grandma is doing ok, because of her age (94) and her mental state (a bit of dementia) she won't be able to do much of the physio and will not be able to return home (which in my mind is a good thing because my granny, who was taking care of her, can not give the 24 hour care that she needs), she will be moved to the chronic care unit while she is on the waiting list for the home near my granny. In my opinion she should have been there years ago.

Thanks, I love the way I look in those pictures. I look at them now and remember I thought I needed to loose weight back then. Boy was I crazy.

I hear ya!

After havin' my son and by the time he was one, I was in a 9/10 and looked awesome..Of course, I thought I was still fat/icky! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I just want to scream at myself when I look at those pics! :rotflmao:

And today I am still stuck at 190 arg!! I am getting so irritated. I hope by next week I will have lost something. It wouldn't be so bad if I was stuck a few pounds lower then at least I would be in the 180s.
 
I don't have time to post exactly what I ate yesterday but I was around 1200 cals, but that was because yesterday was my exercise rest day. Today the scale said 191 (I am not impressed). This week there will be no scale till friday (we will see if I can hold off on it, probably not but I'll try).

I have read through your diary. You are doing well.

We are broadly similar weights now - but you are a little lighter than me. I started off a great deal bigger than you ever got.

I find that I have to weigh myself every day. If not I can sit on a plateau for a couple of weeks before I know and try to do something about it.

Some people suggest that women should only weigh themselves once a week but that seems to be because we hold water about the time of a period. Since we can often work out whether that would explain a gain or lack of a drop - I prefer to know how things are going.

I have broken quite a few plateaus by walking a little bit further each day. I always wear a pedometer and know how many steps I do each day. If I havent wanted to do that I have broken plateaus by tinkering with my food - e.g. altering the time I eat my evening meal, increasing water and decreasing diet cola.

I hope that you break your plateau soon.

I think that your photos are very nice. It is nice to reminisce and look to the future with a new slimmer figure.

Mine said I was 2pounds heavier this morning. I know it is most likely due to the fact that I had to much salt yesterday. My fingers feel like fat little sausages today. Not a very comfy feeling. :(
I agree with Omega on the weighing everyday thing. I use it more as a tool than a goal. It helps me to keep track of my intakes on water and salt.
Knowing that a pound is 3500 cals~I know that I didn't eat that many yesterday so I know that I did NOT gain those 2 pounds. So it is definately the salt as I drank all my water and then some.
Your doing great so don't let the scale deter you. You have come this far don't let it dissuade you now!!!!
Keep up all the hard work!!!
 
Thanks Bellaryna and Omega, I know I haven't eaten enough to gain weight it's just weird to know you are in a deficit and to see nothing coming off, I have noticed that the slim in 6 workout is getting a tad bit easier every time I do it so maybe it is because I am getting stronger. I may do my measurements and see if they are different, since I heard that you can lose inches without actual weight and vise versa. This is also the first full week I have upped my calories to 1400 and my workouts to 60 mins of exercise so hopefully this will help me to start loosing again.

Raisin and Cinnamon Cookies (only cause I had some calories to fill)

Exercise:
30 mins Curves Workout
25 mins slim and 6 workout

I am proud to say I can not do 6 push ups (1 week and a half ago I could do maybe 3). I can almost go through the whole slim in 6 workout without doing any of the modified easier moves, so soon it will be time to move on to the next video in the series. There is a beginners yoga class starting in December and I am thinking that I want to take it as I have never been overly flexible and would like to work on that as well.

down and up thats it,I can do 20 girly style ones my arms are
the weakest I think.I have heard nothing but GOOD stuff about
slim in 6.Keep up the positive attitude and motivation and the lbs

And I know that for a fact 'cuz I did it last night at Pilates. After that one I just held plank until the next move. Otherwise I would never have got back up off the floor!!!! :rotflmao:

Though I do have to say if I were to eat a Grapefruit and then have milk with it I think I would have a sour tummy :( for the rest of the day.
If your noticing that the tapes are getting easier than yeah you better get the next ones in the series. As you don't want to lose that momentum that you got going!
Haven't seen on your menu where you are getting your water in. That could have something to do with your scale too. 'Cuz if the body doesn't think it is getting hydrated it will hold everything. Usually for me if I know that something is salty when I eat it I will chug, chug, chug the water to get the salt out of my system!

I don't add it to my menu but I drink a lot of water. I don't measure how much but that is basically all I drink, except for the soy milk and the V8.

And you will build up your strength with the push ups I got to 8 today (girl push ups though)

Thanks, I was happier to see today that the scale has stayed at 187, I was expecting it to go back up like it has been doing for the past couple weeks (I hate fluctuations).

I may have hurt my knee a bit last night. I was doing my slim in 6 and during one of the squat type moves I got a sharp pain in my knee, so I had to adjust the workout so I didn't put a lot of pressure on it. It only hurts when I bend it while putting pressure, walking is fine and I can bend it no problem as long as their isn't pressure on it. I am going to still workout today but very carefully and tomorrow is my rest day.

I went to the store the other day and tried on some clothes just for fun and I still don't like the way they fit me, I am in between sizes right now I think, the XL is just too big (I float in my t-shirts now) and the L is too small only in the bust area, so I didn't buy anything, I am thinking I will buy new clothes at the halfway mark (20Lbs from now) and then again when I am at my goal or maybe 10 lbs before (since 10 lbs won't make a huge difference in how they fit).

Oh I also posted updated pics in my before pics thread they are on the second page I think. I didn't really see much difference. Hard to tell with forward facing shots (I never allowed any side pics before lol).
 
Looks like my weight loss has definitely kicked back up again. 186 today. Gotta go study for the evil neurobiology exam tomorrow.
 
I haven't updated in a while cause school is crazy now. But today I weighed 182lbs woohoo. I had my monthly weighin and measuring and I lost 8 inches overall this month, very exciting.
 
The last few weeks have been crazy and stressful. I don't know how much time I will have to update my journal until the semester ends, but I will try.

Early Saturday morning (1am) my great grandmother passed away, she was just too old to recover from her broken hip and she passed in her sleep, I was so glad that I got to see her Friday night. I was with my grandmother Saturday (got no sleep friday night at all) and Monday and Tuesday (when the service was). So I didn't get to work out much this week. Now I have to play catch up with exams and papers that are due too soon for my liking.

Even though I didn't workout, I did go for a few walks with my Uncle and stayed on track food wise and was able to continue loosing weight during this time. I am now down to 179lbs, and when I went to buy a dress for the funeral I ended up buying a size 12 (was a 16 in September) so I was pretty shocked at that.

I just wanted to give a quite update as I don't know exactly when I will be able to update my diary again. If I don't have time, I will be resuming updates in early December when the semester ends.

Sounds like you are doing great with all the stresses though.
And it is understandable aboutyour being so busy and not on here at the same time.

You are doing AWESOME, lady! Wow, really, really great work! You and I are now at the same weight ;) I am aiming for 155 lbs. I am 5'4" but don't know if you mentioned how tall you are?

Your attitude is very inspiring! Even though you are very busy with school, etc., you have really kept on track with eating well and exercising! I am happy for you that you recently purchased a size 12 dress!!! I love that. I am going with DH to his Christmas party this weekend, and was shocked to see a nice low size inside my new dress, too! This is the desired effect: :drool5: hee hee

Keep up the stellar work, and post some pics if you haven't already.
