This does seem to be the way to go - making a diary on here to get a bit of feedback & support from others - and also to join a forum where you can provide support to others.
Im 41 - currently 262 lbs (nearly 19 stone......). Im married with 2 boys (13 & 10) and have had weight issues all my life. Ive been slim & fat & in between, but never that happy with myself. Ive tried all sorts of ways of losing weight - from starving to small meals to binge>puking to major exercise. The last time I felt better about myself was 5 years back when I managed to get down to 15.5 stone. I looke pretty good but still managed to break a chair at a party.....(Ive done 3 of those in my life. Well good for raising a laugh
).
So here I am - tomorrow is d day. I am setting myself goals of a stone(14 lbs) at a time. More SMART I feel. Id like to lose this every 6 weeks....
Id ike to welcome you to my diary - I will do a proper profile etc but thought it more important to get started on my goals.
