I'm let down he cancelled.

Anyway today's calories were hampered by 300 calories of chocolate bar and two glasses of red wine.

Hope I get a more energetic walk in tomorrow.

Think I might have a small deficit for today.

Hey there I hope you get that walk in I am in desperte need to go walking but UMMMM not going to happen it was exactly "0" out last time I checked and the news channle showed how a tray of ice cubes froze in 1 hour lmao NOT ME lol however they are sayine 50's by MONDAY now how weird is that a 50 degree warm up in 3 days....:svengo:

Yeah I was wondering where my step buddy went to. I just did over 10,000 steps for the second day in a row! :D Hope you are having such a great time that you have forgotten all about this place & that everything is alright.

Well what can I say I'm bipolar and I'm back. Was pretty mixed up the last three weeks but the last few days I've been better and today I even housecleaned for the first day this year. So I worked for three hours, then walked an hour and 17 minutes and then went to yoga. I love my yoga class and the instructor. She is plus sized but you should see the way she fills out that spandex. Look out she's got a hot body and I think I'm caring less about what I weigh since hanging out with her. Its all about muscle tone. Yoga has really helped me through my depression.

I have a 5k race walk coming up on March 9 so i"m really gonna try and walk now. Just concentrating on feeling better, eating, not worrying what the scale says right now. how about staying off the scales for a while? Sounds good to me. But I'm going to strive to be active every day by walking 5ks and practicing yoga. Tuesdays I lift weights. Tough as I've been oiut of it for a while.

Well, just thought I'd drop back in tonight since I haven't been on in forever. Like a month or do. Definitely did some caloric damage while I was away but I needed to.
 
Hey you - so good to see you post:)I was going good and strong and then my Grandma died and my life got stressy and turned upside down - Im still there upside down workign on slowly eating better agian and exercising lots - lol - it happens to the best of us...I love Yoga too!!!It is tha twhole concntration mentalization and focus stuff I think...it really is grea for you mentally

Sorry for being brutal, but everyone has shit in their life, its not going to go away. there will always be some sort of dilemma or stress, something going on, but you know thats not an excuse to eat bad and get away with it!

Anyway, great to see you back!

Glad you are back. & glad you are back on track with focusing on moving more. Forget the scale. Just strive to be as healthy as you can be.

The walk sounds like a great inspiration to get out & move & enjoy the scenery. Good luck.
 
Another stumble but I'm back on track today with a new plan. I'm doing South Beach diet and on my first day of lean protein and vegetables and water which I do for two weeks. Also signed up with and am for the first time seeing the detailed break down of my food. Am excited by this new prospect.

But most of all I am excited because I have found out for myself something that Wishes told me long ago, that calories could be kept low with hunger satisfied by eating certain foods and today I have discovered that its PROTEIN and FIBER that satisfies and keeps hunger away and calories low.

Today I ate

Breakfast 3 slices turkey bacon
1 fried egg
2 fried red tomatoes

Snack 16 almonds

Lunch 3 cups garden salad
sauteed salmon fillet
1/2 cup sugar free jello

Snack 16 almonds
1/2 cup homemade hummus
cup raw broccoli

Supper will be 3 cups garden salad
6 oz of chicken breast
fat free salad dressing

Dessert will be 1.5 cups sugar free jello

Calories 1539
Fibre 25 grams
Exercise 297 calories burned in 75 minute walk.
64 oz water

The hardest thing to get used to is breakfast, which will consist of eggs and veggies over the next two weeks. Have to poach them or make a frittata with a little cheese melted over. The fried tomatoes really held. I ate breakfast at 10 a.m. and lunch at 3:15 p.m. after my walk. Dinner will be late and there is a good chance I will be so full that I won't need to eat during the night which those who know me know this has been a downfall of mine.

FIBRE FIBRE FIBRE.

This diet cuts out white flour and white sugar and contains healthy fats like olive oil and nuts too.

My weight is up to 194.5 but I am on the right track and pleased with my progress today.

hehe aint that the truth. I cant have a meal of all protein or all carbs without ending up craving the other. I find having a mix seems to help. But yeah protein helps feeling full!

It is really good to see you posting Kelly:):hug2:The girls and I are coming for Easter weekend - Friday till Monday , maybe we can try to squeeze in a visit.

I think my parents like ytou :) I came down around Valentine's Day...My grandma passed on Vday so I used that as a reason to pull Kaylea outta school for 3 days and we escaped for a visit...I havent been there since I saw you last...Oh anyway - my parents were like arent you going to see Kelly - give her a calla dn go see her...usually they want us to stay and visit with them and when I make other plans they dont really like it - LOL!!!

Michelle and I want to come for a visit in June just us:)
 
Last night I was so full from my food that I stayed in bed all night. My mouthguard stayed in my mouth all night (no nighttime eating) AND I wasn't hungry at breakfast so I went for a walk for an hour. My headphones were acting up and it was really aggravating I have to replace them.

When I got back it was 10:30 and so I started my omelette by frying in a teaspoon of olive oil some broccoli, mushrooms and red pepper. Put that on a plate, then made an omelette with two eggs and 1/3 cup shredded cheese AND a tablespoon of ground flax for 2 more grams of fibre.

I also bought some good coffee and am drinking it black instead of with cream and sugar.

I am enjoying the changes.

My friend and I are going to look at dogs at the SPCA this afternoon. He is thinking of getting one and I know he is thinking I would like to be part owner/dog walker and so this could be fun, a little border collie.

I am in "fat" jeans (size 18).

Breakfast 433 calories.
