Keep it up Kdel!

I don't count them either... I know it's probably around about 1000 a day but I don't work it out. Like you my diet doesn't vary a whole lot, I have a few, diet-friendly meals that I like enough to not get too sick of and I stick to those.
 
Well, you're doing something right because those numbers are going down! I guess different things work better for different people. If I didn't force myself to write down every single calorie and confess it to you guys every night, I would be horrible and never lose the weight! I hope you're having a good day! :)
 
sounds like my eatin habits, i eat basically the same thing every day in the week-cause its simple, i dont have to think about it and its within my range =-) keep up the good work!
 
You have come a long way kdel! I'm so proud of you...you aren't eating all that fast food (you are doing a lot better than me with that lately)! Sounds like you eat very wholesome foods now! Congrats on your new healthy lifestyle! :D

Just wanted to pop in and say HI...you always seem so positive and good for oyu for finding what works...I eat alot of the same things all the time with exceptions to dinner...I have lal the same foods I rotate and pretty much know, how much I can eat and such...but for me exercise seems to be what works...a good physical job and lots and lots and lots of exercise...LOL...continue on wiht your great work and your weight loss is looking awesome!!! Your well on your way...

But I wanted to let you know that; I am finding that I am starting to lie to myself again! :eek:
This weekend I ate some whole wheat Ritz crackers ,raisins and dry popcorn
for snacks.
Raisins have high calories! and the Ritz said whole Wheat but they were not 100% Whole wheat!
(I was tricked at the store) The popcorn was not whole wheat.(I don't know what I would count it as? )
My problem is I ate them all sneaky..almost like a mouse when he gets cheese! I think I am mental like that!I have no Idea why I would act that way!
The only thing I could think was that -In my mind I knew that I should not be eating it,so my sneaky old bad habits(feelings) popped its ugly head- It was like I was on auto pilot. Now I'm scared that I will start slowly falling off the wagon.:eek: I don't want the bad habits to come back! What do you think I should do?:confused: I feel like such a cry baby-Sorry
 
Hey Kdel. We have all done it lol. Eating things we shouldn't and feeling bad even there and then. The crazy thing is, I don't enjoy eating "naughty" foods because I feel so guilty... yet I still do it. Who knows why. As you said though, old habits die hard.

Not to worry, those foods aren't such a huge deal and you are aware that you had them when maybe you shouldnt, and you're back on track now. :)
 
Ugh, I know how you feel. I ate a reese's peanut butter cup the other day and didn't include it in my diary. I lied to myself that the reason I didn't put it in was because didn't know how many calories were in there (fun size, not labled for individual sale, Halloween candy) Well I guess just try to remember that whle you may be able to lie to yourself, results don't lie. That's what helps me. Anyway it's good that you're admitting it to yourself so you can have better control over it and so we can help you to not fall off track. Just try your best, it's all you can do!
 
Hey Kdel! I can totally relate to what you are saying! The mind can play some tricky games on us! :) You are doing great AND you know these sneaky old bad habits & feelings for what they are! You are doing great...just stay on course...as newmommy1 said result don't lie! So true! Stick with it gf!
 
Hey there...what you ate really wasnt that bad and I use popcorn as my snack food/treat with butter...even if the raisons are high cals they are still better for you than other things you could have eaten...as far as falling off the wagon slowly...you are aware of what you are doing, you said that and that is one of the biggest things, you are aware of what you are doing...that my friend will help you out more than you know in the run...plus come on, lOL...if you are gonna sneak foods at least make them worth feeling guilty abt!!! Dont beat yourself over such a minor thing...chin up butter cup!!!

I don’t know what my deal was? I feel better now. I got some sleep last night! (10 hours!)
Hello I felt like a teenager getting that much sleep! LOL;)
And I did my work out this morning. I can’t walk at the park after work anymore
because the lights are shut off for some reason?
So I busted out the weight bench and free weights, portable DVD player
(so I wont take the TV away from anyone) and did my 45 Min work out with John Basetow
(I don’t know how to spell his name) But I feel great! :D :D
I will do that now for the winter. But when it’s nice out side I will start walking again :)

oh man would i luv to get 10 hrs....i got about 2 and am running on coffee till 2:30pm which i will go home and crash--cant wait for that peace ! WORK SUX!

totals 2 or 3 of my cookies I had yesterday at 170 per cookies
geeesh why is it so easy to pick up those bad habbits we are trying
so hard to leave behind? It looks like sleep is the secret to haveing
a healthy day thats something I have been lacking, I get a couple
hours here and there do to baby crying hubby moaning in his sleep
my 5 year old has bad dreams and he sleeps with us so elbows and
feet all night and I am far from a sound sleeper lol!
Anyhoo I hope you have a gr8 day, your doping awesome,Tammy
 
I'm glad you got a good night's sleep, isn't it refreshing?! my baby's been up like 3 times during the night the past couple of weeks and it's really getting to me.... Good job on your workout!
