Motivating yourself to go to work on a Saturday would be hard. Knowing that you are moving forward is a good feeling. Hope your day went well Katy.
 
Day 64
Weigh in day today. 75kg. I am actually quite relieved, I was worried I'd be higher but I'm glad to see my week of laziness hasn't set me back too far.
I've got a busy month ahead so to keep on track I've decided to try and order some healthy meals- I've found what looks to be nice meals, organic, well balanced, good vegetarian options and within my budget. I'll still make my own breakfast and probably most lunches but it will be nice to have dinner taken care of for a while.
I'm feeling good about this and hope the meals are as nice and fresh as they sound. Staying on track is definitely worth a bit of extra money
Time to do some cleaning, house is mayhem!
 
Day 64

I joined yesterday and this is what I wrote on my newbie post

My name is Katy, from Australia, and I currently weigh 80kgs. I want to get back to a weight where my clothes actually fit and I feel more like myself and Im hoping writing here will help me be more accountable. Id like to lose 12 kgs to start with.

Its day 2 today and Im feeling positive, although this usually changes towards the afternoon when I start craving junk. So my aim for today is to not give into cravings and eat right and some light-moderate exercise for 1 hour.

I plan to write every day in the morning to start the day right and if Im struggling during the day to stay on track

Looking forward to reading others diaries and wish everyone the best on their journeys

Day 65
I am excited about the dinners, they will come this weekend!
Im getting ready to go to work- very happy to say its only for an hour or two and then I can get back to the cleaning I started yesterday. Nothing better than feeling organised

I found the hardest thing was to start being honest with myself rather than other people and for me that was the first barrier to losing weight. You can do it to with practice
 
A friend of ours has a business in Melbourne cooking & delivering dinners. That would be so funny if it was him. His name is Ricky. He's a brilliant chef! It would be a very slim chance I know, with Melbourne being so huge.

Day 66
Ive caught a cold from someone at work, not too bad yet but coughing a bit too much to do any exercise. Id really like to lose 1kg this week but its probably more realistic for 1/2 kg. im getting impatient that I still have so many clothes that dont fit yet, summers coming up quickly and I only have 3 warmer weather tops that look half decent at the moment so Ive got to my bum into gear.
Not looking forward to work today or tomorrow- I have a training day and a lot to fit in tomorrow.
So thats me today negative Nancy.

Im sure my mood will pick up when todays over, lifes pretty good to me really
 
Day 67
Not going to work today because of this cough, I dont want to pass it on like most people do. Ill have to go in and do the work another day though.
Ive been having issues for a couple of weeks with a colleague being disrespectful towards me. I thought it was just a phase because they were upset about something else but they said something else inappropriate yesterday. Im not going to put up with it so ive started a log of inappropriate things said so if I cant resolve it myself I can show my manager.

Ive slept in til lunchtime today! So looks like ill be having an easy day. I cooked yesterday so at least Ive got something healthy to eat
 
Logging disrespectful or harassment stuff is always a good idea. Solving things between you and your colleague would, of course, be preferable but if you do have to go higher up it´s good to be able to show you´re not imagining things/being oversensitive.
 
Life always tries to get us off plan. Little illnesses, birthday parties, holiday food at work, evening events...you name it. Just fight through it. Whatever you do don't quit! (Basically I am talking to myself as well) We just gotta gotta gotta keep going! two steps forward and one step back will still get us where we are going!
 
I hope you're feeling better soon Katy. It is good thinking logging the inappropriate things said at work. I hope you can deal with it yourself. Most bullies back down when faced with opposition. Take care of yourself, xo Cate
 
In appropriate comments and things like that at work- don't belong in the work place or any place for that matter. It is good you are documenting things so you have some proof. Cate is right - most bullies will back down with they are confronted about their actions. Feel better!
 
Day 68
Thanks guys, fortunately I dont have to work with this person until next week so at least I have a bit of a break before I have to face it.
Ive been sleeping in the past couple of days because Ive been coughing too much during the night. So im taking it easy and trying to eat a little less because im moving less, not sure how weigh in will go now I was hoping for a 1kg loss but that seems unlikely now, will have to smash it next week
Aim for today eat lots of veggies
