Katie's Final Push

alright... I had a piece of leftover pizza when i got home from the library last night - so while it kept me under my total cals, it added more fat cals. Doing better though - it's a slow process!

It also was funny b/c the pizza idea, particularly the stuffed crust version was my fiance's idea... i was looking on the website today for pizza hut - and they have new fit-n-delicious versions of their pizza's! I think next time we order, we just need to get two, and i can eat the healthy one and he can eat the regular. While a single slice of stuffed crust (ham and pineapple) was 350,108, a slice of the other was only 160,27 - HUGE difference!
 
today's food:

bkfst: tea (8,0) + special k w/ skim (160,10)
snack: banana (105,5)
lunch: chocolate pecan bar (250,150), jimmy johns sub (325,10), pickle (15,0)
snack: sugar free soy latte (160,40)
dinner: chicken noodle soup (100,20), french bagette (140,5)
time at home: glass of red wine (75,0)

total cals: 1263,240 (so far)
h20: 32 + 32 + 12 = 86!!!
exercise: walk 1.5 miles

Hi Katie, I remember you from when I was lurking around here last year. Love your avatar.

Congrats on getting back here. You are impressive for posting your good and bad days. Perhaps that's what's holding me back - I don't like to post (read: admit to) my slip ups.

We are kind of in the same place, where our weight has been, where it is now, and where we want it to go.

I look forward to checking in on your diary and see how you are doing.
 
How did you do on your water?? It's OK...my fav quote is from Vanilla Sky where she says, "Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around." She's talking about life in general, but it applies to those of us who are dieting as well...if you mess up during the day, don't scratch the whole day and just let go. Just make it a point to do good the rest of the day. :)

Hey, good for you for posting that! Good for you! Remember, loosing weight is about cutting back, not total deprevation.

i'm doing good so far... already have 32 oz in and it's only noonish... i had a pecan bar with lunch... i just couldn't resist! (although I should have) - I made up for it by not eating potato chips with my sandwich tho =)
 
=( I just bit into my sandwich... and there is mayo ALL over it =( I always order it w/o mayo to cut back on fat, but they didn't listen. so i just wiped most of it off - =(
 
I really don't know how much longer I can stave off pizza, it gets harder by the day, other than a couple lean pockets, I haven't had any 'official' pizza since February. The way things have been going here, I might as well just get it over with and have a slice or 4 and move on.

I do tend to forget how hard it is for families of all sizes to have an isolated 'dieter' like so many in here have in this situation. I probably pick up soooooo much less temptation from the 'outta sight, outta mind' thing.

Thanks for reminding me to think about others.
 
It is SO hard living with people who eat whatever they want and don't worry! Katie, it's good to hear you're back on track from the weekend!

Don't you hate it when they smear stuff on your food? At least you wiped it off! Good job on recovering from the weekend!
 
you guys are all so sweet!!! I really wish i had more time to read up on all of your diaries - and if I don't get to them this week, know that I do care about you and want to kick all your butts and give your encouragement too!!!

What amazes me is how I can eat out and still keep my calories low... tonight was panera soup, this afternoon sub sandwich... it is really helpful that so many places now have their nutritional information on the web... it is awesome!

I have to go back to class in about half an hour =( so much to do!!!

My schedule during the week:
Mon - work from 9-4, class from 4:30-8
Tues - work from 9-3, class from 3-9
Wed - work from 10-9
Thur - work from 9-5
Friday - library/school meetings
saturday off
Sunday - Church morning and sometimes afternoon...

I NEED A VACATION!!!!

exercise: 30 min elliptical, 30 min weights + 2.5 miles walking

Your schedule wears me out just reading about it!

I guess it's hard to eat right when you are running from one activity to the next. But it sounds like you are doing well.
 
woo hoo! I lost 1.5 lbs - so I'm down to 139.5!

Grats to all my amazing Freddy buddies who have lost as well!!! We are doing fantastic!

I'm heading to the gym now... gotta get that workout in!

dinner: grilled tuna with hoisen/soy marinade (185,70) + baked sweet potato (350,35) + edamame (100,25)

fruits & veggie servings: 2 (gf juice) + 2 (sp) + 1 (ed)
total cals: 1255, 205 (so far)
h20: 32 oz + 32 + 10
exercise: 30 eliptical, 15 weights (i was tired this morning)
