Hope you don't mind how I copied your planning and putting it in my diary. It really helps and I'm glad I could get it from you! Now I just need to structure my planning for dinner and P.M. snack better!

Good to see you on and posting. How's the exercise going?
 
no problem =)

exercise is going good.. although I'm not sure I'm going to make it to the gym tonight... the guy I lift with is jewish, and he invited me to go to Rosh Hoshana services with him tonight instead... I've never been, so it will definately be an experience!!!
 
Woohoo! How'd the Rosh Hashana service go? I've never been either. Wonder what it's like... maybe on nights you have to skip exercise, you can incorporate it in earlier in the day - I squeeze in 10-15 minute walks during the day at work. I sit around for too long to not get up and move. How's the day so far for you?
 
well... I didn't get out that night for weightlifting, but I did get in the 30 min walk in the morning, so at least I did something... tonight I'm going to lift weights and go for a run at the gym...

breakfast:
special k and skim (160)

snack:

lunch:
bagel w/ hummus (350)
grapes (100)

snack:
triscuts (120)

dinner:
two slices of pizza (350?) - i have no idea how many cals in this pizza... it is really thin crust, not too much sauce or cheese... tonight I had pineapple and ham
water (NO BEER TONIGHT!!!) whee!!! I actually stuck to it!!!

total cals: 1300
h2o: holy crap... sooooo much water, around 120 oz...
exercise: 30 min on the stationary bike, then 30 min weight-lifting...

awesome chicky.... what does your sign in name mean? When I see it it makes me want to say Geranamo... or a mom I know.... LOL I know youre not a mom. and I dont think you're indian.... LOL I'm silly again!
 
you actually have to separate the letters... amo mono... which means I love monkey =) I used to have tons of stuffed animal monkeys when I was growing up... but alas, I have given most of them away... I never liked real monkeys all that much - but the stuffed animals - boy are they cute!!! my boyfriend got onto the bandwagon and gave me one for every holiday or special event... but now I just have the three most precious ones =)
 
oh! and the rosh hashanna services were awesome. the music was beautiful and it was wonderful to worship with my friend and his congregation. =)
 
LOL, I used to have a ton of monkeys too.. but it did not last that long... man I had a bunch..... My dad had a spider monkey when he was growing up... it was cute (in the pics he has) but it did naughtythings!!! :eek: LOL
one boyfriend gave me a giant black gorilla with a heart that said I love you. I was going to throw it away when we broke up but my dad liked it!LMAO
So he kept it.... he still had it by the time Allyson was 2 (4 years later) and it scared the living daylights out of her.... any black animal from then on scared her. So he finally tossed it... She no longer has the fear... but I will never forget all that! Thanks for bringing back old memories...
I guess that explains your pic! LOL But didnt you have a pic of yourself a while ago... blonde hair? you should put one back up!

the rosh hashanna services sounds cool. I widh I could experience it one day, just to say I did... along with a ton of other things in the world I'm affraid I will never experience......

Boy, its too bad you didn't get in that weight lifting yest. I sure hope it doesn't effect your weigh in!

Looking Good Katie. Keep up the good work. Your food looks awesome and 30 minutes of running is great. Doesent running make you feel so good!!!
 
Yes Julie, it DOES feel good!!!

I'm out of milk... and so to save gas, and to make myself get up and go for a run/walk in the morning, i'm just going to run to the grocery store in the morning, and then walk back... it's only a block off of my usual jogging path anyways, and near the end, so that will work perfect. But I also have to get up early enough and do it early enough so that i have it back here before my roommate needs it!

plan for tomorrow:

breakfast: cereal w/ milk, oj
snack: raisins
lunch: wheat bagel w/ hummus, apple
snack: triscuts
dinner: mushroom/barley soup, salad, bread
exercise: running in the morning, lift weights in the pm

note to self: I have been slacking off alot, and spending time that I should be studying online... i'm addicted to the internet! =) I need to spend a bit less time here, and more time working out!!! good plan, huh?
 
ohyeah! internet is VERY addicting... it's a shame huh? It's been getting me into trouble around here, let me tell ya!
Girl, hope you get to the store and back, sounds like a good plan!

Your food looks awesome Katie. Nice to see someone else who likes Hummus its my favorite but only the Athenos Brand. The internet will get you in trouble..Dont I know it, its where I met my English Muffin (my hubby..hes british) Havent seen you here this morning by the way so you are probobly off to the store. Doing great with the excercise. Keep it up.

went to retirement party after work instead of home to eat... but I only ate veggies, fruit, a handful or two of tortilla chips, 4 triscuts and a small piece of angel food cake (300?)

total cals: 1390
h2o: 84 oz
exercise: I did get up and jog to the grocery store and walked back... but I didn't do the whole path I normally go and was only going for abouot 20 min... but I did then walk to school and i'll walk back, and tonight I rode the bike for 30 min, lifted weights for almost 45 min, and then hopped on the stair stepper for 5 min.
