Exercise: 1 set jump roping, 10 min of dance aerobics, 8 min legs, 10 min kick boxing, 8 min abs... i wanted to do something different =)

I was really tired today, and I really didn't want to work out... but I made myself do it, and i actually had fun... the jump roping has been hurting my shins a bit, so i mixed it up and did the "bonus" workouts on my 8 min dvd's... I was also excited about loosing another 2.5 pounds. I really want to look good when i go on my trip to hawaii... i have been before, and have always been kind of embarrassed about how i looked... and this time my boyfriend is coming, and i don't want HIM to be embarrased to. I look at myself in the mirror now, and even just loosing the weight i have, i feel like it has made such a difference. I have a confidence about myself I haven't had before. It feels wonderful.

Your coffee drinks were nothing,...just think you could have had a couple cookie to go with it...(240) calories...nothing!

Question is ......Did you enjoy them? If yes,..then it was calories well spent...I have on every now and again too....and then life goes on

=D YES! I did enjoy them =) I think i felt really guilty about it, and then i got home and realized that they really weren't as many calories as I had thought, but i still felt guilty. But, I need to remember to take a cheat day... i haven't been doing that really, and it would be a good thing for me to start...

Hey you're doing really good and some of your food sounds really tasty! I should get a jump rope, although I doubt the people who live underneath me would much appreciate that...I might just do it anyway though!

All in all, I am feeling so good about myself and what I am doing. I finally feel like i have a grasp of something that I can really change my life with. So many times I have started an exercise routine and it lasts for maybe two weeks... i have never really tried changing my eating habits. But this time, with the help of this forum, i have found the ability to really motivate myself and get something done!

I'm going home to see my family this weekend for my grandparent's anniversary. I haven't seen any of them for over a month. It will be fun to see if they notice anything or not. My mom I know has been struggling with her weight too, and I'm hoping that I can help get her motivated and help her to find the tools to get started as well. Thank you so much guys for all of your support and advice and everything! woo hoo!

Exercise: 30 min walking to and from school, It was beautiful out today, so i went walking on the trail by my house... i had never been on it before, and it is gorgeous!!!! it has a pond and fountains and flowers, and trees, and benches... i need to go more often!!! I ended up doing 3 rounds, which is 3 miles, in about 45 minutes.... i walked for 45 seconds and then jogged for 15... actually, i started out just walking, but wasn't getting my heart rate up enough, so i tried it this way and it was great... not enough to run out of breath and pass out, but just enough to get me sweating and keep my heart rate going. I'm gonna have to try doing this in the mornings!!!

Exercise: 30 min walk (to and from school), 1/2 set jumping rope, 8 min buns - those KILL!!!, 10 min dancing, 8 min abs, 15 min kickboxing... that sounds like alot of random stuff... but i have these dvd's with the 8 min sets, and they have bonus workouts... i do a bit of cardio, and then the 8 min stuff - which actually keeps my heart rate up fairly well b/c it's fast paced - and then more cardio, etc. Is that a good way to do it? or would it be better to do all of the cardio at once and then all of the more "weight" or focus exercises at once?

I am dreading weighing myself tomorrow, b/c i know i probably took a step backwards this weekend.... but i just need to work harder this week to make up for it. People did notice a difference back home though, so that was really nice =) It means that this is worth it and that it's working. I'm going to be on a beach in hawaii in a bikini in two weeks... so i really need to focus in and work hard!

You're doing awesome. I saw up there that you got the Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage patties. Yes! I was never a big fan of sausage when I ate meat (which was 10 years ago), so I've only had those once, but the other Morningstar products are great too. The Veggie Bacon is awesome, and all of the burgers and "Chik" stuff is good too. I like the Parmesan Ranch Chik Patty and the Spicy Black Bean Burger the best. I'm glad you keep variety in your diet and you're great about fruits and vegetables! Keep it up!
