Kaitie's Open Diary

hot single guys in alaska really? I always picture polar bears and 'northern exposure' type people in alaska... northern exposure was an american tv show in the early 90's and needless to say there weren't to many hot guys. :)

Maybe when it's winter in New Zealand you'll get some cold fingers now that you're a skinny minny! Oh, and what are you going to do if Orprah actually wants to do a show about you!!!! Could you imagine a 27 hour flight to Chicago!

I'm telling you, sometimes I just get so wrapped up in something that I confuse the heck out of myself and can't even see straight.

*ugh* Sometimes I annoy myself. :)

Ok, so it's been raining and raining and raining for the past two days. NJ was hit hard but thankfully I don't have any flooding. I tried to get to work today---3 different ways because the roads were flooded and then I decided to look at my phone and found out that they cancelled school. I think I'm the only person in town that was mad that we had no school today. I have so much Cinderella crap to get done and now I have to do it ALL tomorrow. It's gonna be a long, long day. Think of me. *pity party*

Tired.

Got white paint on the new black curtains.

Can't get the damn microphones to work.

Had a 4 1/2 hour Cinderella rehearsal.

Poster catastrophe is getting fixed---not by me. Which is both good and bad.

Johns doing fine...the weight is just taking forever to come off of him. New fangled plan is working fine.

Tired.

Painted the white paint black.

Got the damn microphones to work...mostly

Left rehearsal early to go pick up my bride's maids dress and they told me it'd be ready tomorrow night....which would be fabulous if my flight wasn't tomorrow morning. I reemed them a new butt hole and they told me to come back before 7:00 tonight to pick up the dress.

Poster catastrophe---totally forgot about them---hopefully someone else will do it in my absence.

My principal had the nerve to yell at me for something that the director was supposed to do and told me to fix the problem before I left. Haha. I just walked out.

Off to drop the dog off at the brothers for the weekend.

There is absolutely nothing in Manti, Utah. I was excited to see a Wal-mart....that's the most 'normal' thing I've seen in this po-dunk town. I can't wait to go home.

Uh oh - well I hope things get better for you there...Wal Mart is cool though!Your only there for the weekend ? If so thank goodness hey!!!

Phew! Made it out of hill billy hell! The wedding was nice but Manti is just a completely different way of living from what I'm used too---completely different.

My eating since Thursday has not been great so I'm expecting some weight-gain on my weigh-in on Monday morning. I looked good in my dress and I think my hair looked good too...but I'm ready to be home. I want to kiss my kitties, pet my puppy, and start fretting about my show which opens on Wednesday.

What's great about me not being there on Thursday and Friday is that the director was actually forced to do her job, so she's been dealing with everything that she should have been doing from the beginning!

So hopefully, nothing to crazy will happen this week. (yeah right!)

*kisses the good ol' Jersey ground* I'm finally back home!!

Back on the bandwagon tomorrow---it's been a non-diet friendly weekend. :)

*pops some valium*

OMH I had a soundsystem meltdown today. The sound was awful, I tried to hire this guy from Guitar Center and he totally dissed me....called in my brother and he spent a good 2 hours with me figuring out the in's and out's of mixing boards etc... So hopefully I'll be able to sleep a little better tonight.

Thanks a bunch!!! The first show went really, only a few minor microphone issues (kids breathing into the headset or having the mic too far from their mouth) but everything else went really well. We've got a ton more help this year than we did last year (ok last year it was just me and the director *eek*) and this year we've got at least 5 other major helpers and 8 people running the fundraisers!! So that's all fantastic!

Today's John's birthday and sadly he said he wanted to go to see his parents (ugh) so I have to spend more time with them. *boohoo* But! It's what he wants so I guess I'll just have to hitch up that smile and deal with it.

I haven't exercised in about a week but at least my food is back in check. All the food I was served in Utah was meat and potatoes...very heavy. And I feel like I've had nothing but subs this week---but at least their turkey subs which is good for you.

Gotta run, Johns home! Bye!
