Kaitie's Open Diary

Hello everyone! I've been a bit busy lately, scouring the house so that the appraiser doesn't low-ball us like the last incompetent ass. *eyeroll* How they could really and honestly say that the house is worth $50,000 less than it was 6 months ago is completely beyond me---all I know is that the house is super clean and I'm wearing a low cut top tomorrow. *wink*

Anyway, T2--do I get a crown for being the plateau queen? That would certainly be a plus. I've been changing up my exercises, I quit the weight lifting for a while and am just focusing on getting a full hour of cardio in. I'm also eating a whole mess of crappy food for a couple days to try and shock my system. Don't know if it'll work but it's certainly tasting very good. :)

I'll check in again soon---I hope ya'll are doing well!

Howdy,Katie
I haven't been here to say howdy in a few!
Sorry about the plateau it will pass and when it does share on how you
did it because I am sure I will be having that problem(knocks on wood)!
Have a nice day,Tammy:)

I think the appraisal went well---the guy showed up at 1:30 instead of 3:00 so I was still dressed like a grub....darn it! But I hope it still goes in our favor.

The scale hasn't moved, still at 165 and I've been eating everything in sight. Next week when I'm back to 'diet' eating I really hope that the scale will move towards the 150's.

Anyway, T2--do I get a crown for being the plateau queen?

Debi is in charge of all coronations. Last I looked she took the crown off however its whereabouts are unknown to me.

Devaluation isn't uncommon in the dead winter especially in the northeast. Sluggish economy, housing is soft right now, interest rates are a lil high and basically what the demand is currently. I'd rather pay lower property taxes until your area resurges in value and then pay a higher tax according to market value. I can see New Jersey being very susceptible to huge value swings.

Are you doing this for insurance purposes or for resale ??

When we first got our mortgage it was a two year fixed and after that it would change to a ARM--so we're trying to get a new fixed rated but I'm telling you it's just been like jumping through freakin' hoops and trying to talk to monkeys. Very crazy.

So basically I've decided to freak out my body this week and I've eaten anything and everything that I've wanted, including two Friendly's Ultimate Oreo Sundaes (no not at the same time!) YUM!!! So tomorrow I'm officially back on the diet and exercise bandwagon. I'm seriously hoping that the shock to my system will get the freakin' scale moving again. Oddly enough I ate a Sundae at 9:00 pm last night and stepped on the scale this morning and it said I was down a pound to 164. Very weird.

Im glad to hear you arent giving up, last I read was you wanted to give up, I know just words and hten I havent really seen you post much...so I just wanted to check up on you...I hope your stragedy works for you!!! Good luck!!!

Good to see you're not losing faith over the stuck scales (I definately understand how you feel at the mo!) I hope the shock-eating tactic works for ya. :D

Fear not, I have returned to side of truth and light! :)

I cut out the diet soda and I'm going to try and avoid eating out too much....I'm eating what I think are good things at restaurants but I'm thinking they are not doing me any good.

At the moment I have a headache and I'm really bored. I have a staff development meeting on wednesday and I'm in charge of running an hour of it---I should probably prepare for that...I've got it in my head, just gotta put it down on paper to make sure my thoughts match the time.

Oh and the scale said 163.5 this morning....should I dare to hope?

Hey Katie! I havn't been in your diary for so long, sorry about the neglect. I'll try and visit more often. Just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing. How's the hubby?
