I'm sitting here at parent-teacher conferences and so far I've had 2 'why didn't my baby make the drumline' confrontations. *eyeroll* And my principal has the gall to ask me to put this kid who has one hand in the drumline. I think he's a great kid---but how do you think he's going to feel when all the other kids are doing these fancy two-handed manuevers and he's there trying to fudge it with one hand? Crazy. I went to dinner with a bunch of teachers and all they did was moan and complain about everything and everyone---now I know that I vent my feelings *passes T2 a valium* but oy vey and whole table of bitching and moaning was too much!

I didn't get to exercise today--I've been at work since 7:45 this morning!
 
I was in the drumline in HIghschool. Never took it to the college level... but yeah... that's just not a smart idea putting a one armed kid in a Drumline... I mean.. seriously... this isn't Def Leppard we're talkin here... Does the principle realize the ridicule the kids gonna get from other classmates? what grade is this for?
 
That's cool!

Today was fine, nothing major. Well my collegue was cursing up a storm while a parent and their child are in the same room---sadly the parent was too drunk to notice.

Exercises for today:

5 miles on the bike (150 calories)
75 sit-ups

I was totally going to work out more but my entire started shaking and I was sweating bullets---usually when that happens I need sugar. So I went and had dinner. I feel better now. I was hoping that by losing all this weight that my pre-diabetes symptoms would go away, and for the most part they have...I guess I still need to lose some weight to get my 'shakes' under control.

My neighbors are totally competing against each other this year in terms of holiday decorations. It's so funny, everyday I see some new blow up thing, lighted candy canes, twinkling lights etc... on each of the houses. There's 24 days left till Christmas---what else can they put up? :)
 
:eek: What a cool idea hmm I may have the urge to wrap a door or 2 tonight lol I may sneak and do it when everyone is asleep and they can wake up to it tomorrow, I wonder what they will think :D

Tomorrow I'm going to wear my new size 12 jeans to work!!! I'm so excited!!! I'm so vain I know....I can't wait to hear people say 'Kaitie you look fantastic' Is that shallow of me? Ok, maybe it is but I don't care!

I had another announcement but I can't remember what it is at the moment....hmmm. Oh well, it'll come to me in the middle of the night!

Have I said a great big 'thank you' to everyone who comes and reads my mumbo jumbo? What....not in a while? I'm so sorry!!!

WooooHoooo!! You're going to look awesome in your size 12's!!!! Good for you for doing so well on your diet!!! As for people admiring your success, soak it up like a sponge!! I personally love it when people notice!!!

60 rotary torsos

I hope we get the snow that's all over the Chicago right now---I love snow!

Yay for you! Mine are still a little snug yet, but I'm hoping in another week or so I'll be comfortable! And no, it's not shallow to want to show off your success. :)
 
Ok so I had to do some MAJOR damage control today. It's day off diet day so I wanted pancakes---I checked the McDonald's nutrition site and read what I thought was the calorie count (300) and said Yippee! Here I come, so I went and got them, ate them, thought boy they're not as good as I remember, and went to put the calories in my fitday account....that's when I found my MAJOR mistake. I didn't read the nutrition site correctly--what I ate was 770 calories!!!!! Oh %$^&!!!! 770 calories (300 from fat!!!) and it didn't even taste good. That sucks. So I went to the gym and exercised until my legs felt like hot jello. I burned off 600 of those 770 calories--I just hope that I did enough so that I don't mess up my diet.

Ugh!!!
 
Oh you won that battle. You burnt it off TODAY unlike the ever-popular 'tomorrow'.
