Kaitie's Open Diary

Advil ? whats that?

Good on you for sticking with it! Exercise makes you feel better most of the time - even if you do crash out into bed soon afterwards!

I'm telling you....my dog with eat freakin' anything and everything!!

I'm almost afraid to ask!

And Woo Hoo for John!! That's awesome :D

And I hope youre feeling better soon!

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling a little better today. Whenever I get sick it goes right to my chest and I end up barking like a dog. But hopefully I'll be able to breathe easier soon. I'm really hoping that when I'm down to the 140 pounds that all this asthma crap will go away. The good news however is that I'm down to 185!! Weehee!! Just two more pounds away from my 6 week challenge goal of 183. Yippee, I can do it!

I'm super proud of John, he's dropped an even 30 pounds in 2 months. When we checked yesterday he was all nervous because he had allowed himself a cheat day (something he hadn't done for 6 weeks) and was worried that he messed up his results but hooray!!! He lost 10 pounds in two weeks. Now I know ya'll are jealous and thinkin' "Why can't I do that?" but the reality is the heavier you weigh the quicker you drop the weight initially. So, he's gone from 494 pounds to 464 pounds. Thanks goodness. I hope he can keep up this major weight loss and be under 400 pounds by New Years. Although now that I see it, 100 pounds in 6 months...is that alot? I don't know. I just want a skinny husband.

M2M: My dog is stealing my dirty tissues out of the garbage can and eating them. So freakin' gross!!

Hillbillylee: Ran the anti-virus---my system is completely infected! Might need a new hard-drive. :)

It is Awsome that John lost 30 pounds!! I hope he continues. If he is loosing 5 pounds a week, there are 15 weeks left in the year, ... that would be 75# by newyears starting this week. Have you ever watched "The Biggest Looser"... I watched the show when it first came out, and those people dropped ALOT of weight a week.

Glad you are feeling better! And dogs.... my little chihuahua, Mable... she was eating her own poop there for a while... and they both love to shred and eat Kleenex. Sick little animals!

Congrats to both you and John! I hope he's able to reach the New Years goal. Is 175 your goal for New Years, or just a goal in general...?

Good luck dealing with your co-worker. Such people are so aggravating!

Sifen

175 is my first goal, I feel like if I start thinking about the actual number I'd like to weigh then I'll get overwhelmed so I'm doing it in chunks.

First goal: 175 (that'd be a total of 28.5 pounds gone)
Second goal: 150 (53.5 gone)
Final weight 140 (63.5 gone)

But for right now I'd be overjoyed with losing close to 30 pounds. I'm hoping to be down to 160 by my birthday in December but we'll see. :)

Okay, I just sat here and read all 23 pages of your diary...YOU GO GIRL. And yes, I have no life. Great job so far, most impressing to me, the self control at wendy's...I'da been all over a double bacon cheeseburger with a huge order of fries and a frosty. You rock.

wow kaitie - every time i look in here you've gone and lost more weight :D

and yay to your husband as well - doing it together must be so motivating :)

Hey Kaitie, you're doing great. Goals in small chunks are the way to go, I think. Not so much pressure....just mini pressure and a clear cut plan to get there. Sounds like you husband is hanging in there too! Have a great week.

You guys are so great! I can't believe you read all 23 pages---did you like the picture of my puppy? :) He weighs 15 pounds now...he's getting chunky! I really am trying super hard on this lifestyle thing and I really am grateful for everyone who pops in here and gives me the thumbs up---it helps keep me motivated, so thanks a bunch!!!

*hugs*

wow way to go katie!
thats awesome!

Cant wait to get to my first goal - i also outta hit it at xmas :)

hey katie girl, you are doing so totaly Awsome, yu must feel great about your succsess, and i hope yu keep up your wonderful attitude, it sure inspires me, so keep on rockin it sista an have a fab. day and seee ya on the flip side:cool: STAR

Yeah the hyper-tissue eating puppy shouldn't get to much bigger.

Ok today's run down:

3 miles on the bike (of couse I remember after I leave the gym that I was supposed to do 4 to reach my 100 mile goal--tomorrow)
150 torso twists
120 sit-ups
30 leg lifts
30 compound row
30 overhead presses

I'm still coughing like a dog but I definately feel better. Work was crazy busy, I had six introductory lessons today. "This is how you open the case, this is called a blah..., this is how you hold it..." Gets kind of old after a while...but that's this entire week. I'm watching Finding Nemo "Shark bait oo-ha-ha!"

I'm super excited, I'm 1.5 pounds away from my 6 week challenge goal...I really, really hope to beat it sometime this week. Of course I had a grab bag of potato chips today so that's proably not going to help matters...but I'm still going to try!

*crosses fingers*
