Oh Kaitie, I can't believe how awesome you're doing! You're really inspiring me; we started about the same weight and had the same goals to start. I feel like if you can do it, I can do it! You're more than halfway to your first goal already!!!!
 
Ok....I need to get rid of my blahs. I was back up to 186 this morning, I know it's 'only' a pound but still...it's a pound more than I had yesterday so I'm annoyed. I'm going to go nuts at the gym and work my butt off...even if I have to stop for a while and then go back. I want to do 10 miles on the bike and all of my sit-ups (I slacked off yesterday)--hopefully I can get my butt back in gear so that I reach my goal of 183.5 by October 2. I'm so ready to just get up and go right now. 15 more minutes until the end of the school day!!
 
OK! I just kicked my own a$$!

150 sit-ups
150 torso twists
50 hip abductions (I don't know, it gets rid of the flab on your inner thighs)
30 leg lifts with 35 pounds instead of 25

So my legs are hurtin' but I'm really hoping to see some change tomorrow. I've eaten really good foods today and I'm about to drink enough water to sink a fairly large row boat.

Great job on the bike, have you given the Elliptical trainer another shot yet? I like it because I can burn about 500 cals per 3 miles and its low impact.
 
I hear ya dari....I'm a whimp when it comes to the elliptical machine!! I think the most I've ever done on it was 18 minutes....and I almost fainted. It's crazy cause I see all these people who can use it for an hour!! Maybe I'll try it again, if I don't whimp out tomorrow (it's back to school night and I won't get off of work until 8:30 which means I'd get to the gym at 9:15) maybe I'll try it on Thursday. *bites fingernails*
 
It took me a long time to work up to 3 miles...and there are hill intervals in there too so it quite literally sometimes kicks my arse. but not like 10 miles on a bike would hurt my arse. Good job on the loss, keep it up, your doing great! Hows the hubby?
 
Hello everyone!!

Back to school night was fine---I went out to TGI Fridays after school and I had a steak (really wanted the burger) and potato wedges (bad idea!) but I did go to the gym after BtSN was over and did 3 miles!! I'm sleepy. :)

John's doing well, I gave him my cold...so he's sniffing and sneezy all over the place.

I hope everyone else is doing great!!! :)
 
The meal isn't so bad.... there were better choices but hey I have been to Fridays and there are several much worse lol.
Th cold spreading around can get bad. I know here with 3 kids, when one gets it it's like trying to dodge the plague.
 
I actually gave the cold to a bunch of teachers as well....what can I say, I like to share the wealth!

I woke up super thirsty and downed 20 ounces of water within 5 minutes of waking up. My body also felt really different this morning....I know I didn't lose anymore weight but I think some firming up took place during my sleep. I couldn't decide what to wear this morning and found this pair of brown pants that I didn't even know that I had...they're a size 16. So I put them on and wow...they look good. They make my legs look a lot slimmer! Then I was going to wear a tank top with a button down shirt over it but the button down shirt was size 20 and I was freakin' swimming in it--made me look really fat so I scrambled for another shirt and I think I look very thin today. (well as thin as a 184.5 pound person can look I guess.)

Ok, my trumpeteers are officially 6 minutes late...I'm going to get them!
 
oh, I used to looooooove getting on my elliptical and going for an hour or so...it was great. With a pair of headphones on with some upbeat music pumping through my body, I could just space out and go on forever!
