Actually the thing I miss the most is coffee!! lol Decaf just feels like cheating!

Thanks Sunyang. Thanks for contributing to my journal. Yes, getting my body healthier is a great place to start!! I feel like after this challenge, others will seem easy, or at least doable!!

A great night and experience!!

So, a very cool thing happened to me this evening!!! I am pretty pleased with how my life decisions lately have been leading to a better JZ. About 4 weeks ago, I began a 13 week Dale Carnegie course. If anyone has not heard of it, it's basically a HYPER get good at speaking to groups and become more confident course. It's kinda expensive, but I thought WTF... I'm worth the investment!! Anyways, when in business settings, even with groups, I am confident and a good dealiverer of my points and ideas... get me in where I don't have a "canned" speach, and it's about topics I wouldn't really share with people, and I'm a mess! So, back to the cool thing... I'm in "class" with about 45 people, and we all have to give a two minute speech... I gave mine, and had everyone really into it... I was working the room like I work a job trailer... anyways, at the end, we the class, vote for whom we think gave the best speech... I WON!! I was very proud, and excepted the award with sincere appreciation. On my drive home, I realized, that the confidence to give that speech, was grounded in my success on my weightloss endeavor!! I have more confidence in myself, because I am doing this!! I am not as confident as I want to be, but I am making good decisions in order to get where I want to be!!! A VERY GOOD FEELING!!!! :smash: :sifone:
