OK, so here we are... today, I weighed in... lost .5 of one damn pound!! AAARRRGGGG!! I should not feel bad, that's what I earned!!! I am going to kick ass this week!! I actually have mixed emotions due to the success of this mornings weight session, but I'll share that news in "Mondays" post!

A loss is a loss! 0.5 lbs is still moving forward, and as you said... This week is going to be a kick ass week, Yes???? No time for feeling bad, you are on the most important mission of your life, so time to focus!!! You go dude!!!
 
Hey JZ; sounds like you made a fair assessment of things, needed a rest and took it. Meh on the .5 ... in a week you could suddenly see 3 pounds less! Goofy how that works.

lol yah I guess the chick/guy ration is kinda stacked. Now I KNOW T2 would abuse that last word I used. ha ha ha

Well, this three day weekend was a very good time!! Eating on the other hand... not to stellar!! :( I ate with my three kids every meal. I had chicken and veggies, but also had popcorn and COOKIES!!! I wish I had not, but what are you going to do right?? I hit the excercise last week very well, and ate great until Friday! I skipped my Friday work out... felt like shit about it, but I think I needed a rest I think anyways. I had been hitting it pretty hard, so I chose not to do a weight session. The weather was crap all weekend, but the kids and I still managed to get in a 3 mile "nature hike" It was fun.

Dude, I'm not even going to ride you about it, cuz I know your already riding yourself about it harder than I could (patiently waiting for someone like Kim - either one - or Kare or Lili to make comments about riding JZ..).

JZ, my man, About the ratio of males/females in here? We've both been upstaged by the return of T2 trucker... BTW, Step on over to his world. He's done some pretty fantastic stuff with his weight loss. Nice guy too.
 
Check it out for sure(if you like history), all of McCullough's books are great! I've read 1776, John Adams, Truman, Mornings on Horseback, Brave Companions, and the Bridge... all are very good!!

Oh, I love history. If I ever decided to go back and get my masters, I'd most likely do it in history. I also want to read that John Adams book of his.

I think half a pound is awesome considering you ate COOKIES and POPCORN ;) LOL! I'm just teasing you! :) But yeah, don't beat yourself up--you probably already made up for it! :D
 
Mondays Post on Wednesday (I was crazy busy)

As I said in my weekend update post... things were down, I needed a rest I felt, and I only had a .5 pound loss...

Monday - KICK ASS Upper body workout!! I benched 260!!! I OFFICIALLY bench over my weight!! As I lose, I'll get back into the plus fifty club, then hopefully, as one of my mini goals... the plus 100 club!! I'm pretty geeked by that!!! It's been a loooooooong time!!

Eating... OWNED IT today! Got all my protein and stayed within calorie limits.

An EXCEPTIONAL DAY!! :)
 
Tuesday

Had to go to Columbus very early(Business meetings). I didn't get a chance to get my cardio in until later. Eating... Thank God for coolers! I packed all my pre-planned meals and ate wonderfully!! All my protein again. I like this because I feel full longer... maybe it's in my head, but that's OK with me ;) !!

Cardio - I went and played racket ball with a buddy!! Great workout!! We played for an hour, and it was INTENSE!!! Neither of us like to lose, and we both throw down the trash talk! GOOD TIME... I will have to do that again soon... especially because he beat me convincingly every game!!! Hey, I'm new to that game, just wait till next time, or maybe the time after that!! :D

Another good day for this week. I am LIVING this lifestyle, and doing what it takes to be who I want to be!!! Bring on tomorrow and the lower body workout!!!

Way to go on the benching over your body weight. I've made BW+50 a goal. I don't know if I'll ever do +100. That's for another time.

I know you're bummed about the .5 pound loss but hey, that's a .5 of a pound you will never see again. It's better then GAINING, right???

Glad you took a rest day. We all need one!

Congrats on officially benching over your weight! It looks like you did phenomenally on Monday with working out and nutrition.

Way to LIVE the lifestyle :) You are seriously doing amazing! You are going to be in the plus 100 club in no time :)

Thanks Sara! I can't tell you how good hitting this goal feels!! I always took pride in my lifting abilities... till Monday, I had lost that part of my confidence! I know it shouldn't have anything to do with that, but I feel like it does... I feel more manly!! :D :D
