Day 24

AM lower body workout... KILLED IT!! I love leaving my "gym" and having noodle legs... great feeling! I love ending the session with the wall sit... well at least rolling on the floor in good "pain" after it!!! Has anyone done the 12 MINUTES???? I thought some of you took it as a challenge. Great workout today... 9.5 out of 10!! I guess I reserve the 10's for when I impress myself?????

Breakfast - 2 wheat 100 cal english muffins with PB, yogurt
snack 1 - R2DS, whey
lunch- 2 turkey wraps, pearapple
snack 2 - yogurt, 25 almonds (I was hungry, and nuts do a good job filling me up)
dinner - chicken with brown rice and salsa, grilled peppers (yum)

Great workout this morning, great eating all day.... success!! On to tomorrow!!!
 
I haven't tried yet. I'm sure that I'll fail miserably, so that's probably why I keep putting it off. :blush5:

Yup, already tried it, failed miserably, didn't bother posting at the time... oh the humiliation...

Well not really. I figure JZ used to be an athlete, I was never much more than a sofa spud... tryin' like hell to change it now though.

I think finding what you LIKE to do is a huge part of this... you're doing that, so you'll get there. And, wall sits are tough. I had a coach that made us do them after every practice. This was the same coach that would skate us until someone puked. We took turns eating pizza before each practice :puke:
 
just like everyone else so far, I tried the 12 minutes and failed miserably. I got to 3 and just hit the floor. but hey 3minutes isn't bad concidering I usually try for 1 minute or so then groan and give up.
good to see you're still doing great with everything. keep it up, and don't forget your cardio. :reddevil:
 
If anyone is going to ride me like a schwinn... I'm glad it's you Shandy!! Thanks, I actually already did my cardio this morning... 40 minutes on the elliptical with it set to fat burning! Good workout, but it was hard to get through... mentally, I mean. I try to zone out when doing "mindless cardio", but today, I kept staring at the big damn countdown in the center of the control module!!! I need to get new episodes of It's Always Sunny IN Philadelphia to watch for the indoor stuff!!!
 
OK... It's OFFICIALLY "FUCK with JZ's WILL POWER DAY" at my office!!! I frickin' HATE when vendors, who we never use, don't even read their estimates, crack jokes about, and wouldn't even notice if they went out of business, have the brass to show up, uninvited, bringing with them 2 dozen doughnuts!!! These were HOME MADE ones, not that Tim Hortin's/Dunkin Doughnuts crap! Then, we get another one of these YAHOO's, decides he's going to be different and stand out, this slep rock brings a Cheese Cake Factory chocolate Cheese Cake!!! As if that wasn't bad enough, It's one of the guys out in the shops birthday, so we always do a cake/cookie, you know, the cookie the size of a smart car with frosting and crap smeared all over it... anyways, they messed up the spelling of the name... how you mis-spell Michael, I have no idea, so instead of throwing out the goof, they dropped it in the office and delivered the correct one to the boys out in the shop!!! I am strong, I said NO to everything... but holy hell, I wanted that MnFing CHEESE CAKE really frickin' BAD!!! I actually went outside and walked around the building to avoid the temptation! I ran from the food!!! OK, rant over, and situation avoided. I've never had a craving that strong before! I actually RAN!!! :willy_nilly:
 
wow JZ, that took some serious dedication right there. you wouldn't have been able to pry me off of the cheesecake with a crowbar. you have officially been elevated to supreme hero for the day just for your will power alone. :patriot:

In case you didn't read it... I RAN from the food!!! I don't know about will power... it was more like fear of biting someones hand who reached for a piece if I stayed!!!
 
I saw the running part. at least you had the will do get the flock outta dodge. I wouldn't have bothered. I have absolutely NO will power when cheesecake is in the room.

DZ I love reading your workout reports. Great inspiration! Sounds like you kicked ass again!!

Can you describe how his "wall sit" works? I'd like to take up the challenge, although I can see myself rolling about in agony after 5minutes...
 
Damn, I love cheesecake. We have the ultimate cheese cake place here. It's called Holy Moses Cheesecake, and it is hands down the best. It was our wedding cake. Regular for the bottom tier, chocolate for the middle and amaretto for the top. :drool5:

Now my son's Cub Scout troop is selling Holy Moses Cheesecakes for Thanksgiving for a fund raiser. :banghead: Can't say no to that, right?
