Well, it's complete. Last court date today went well, and is now in the past!! A little more tweaking with the nutrition end of things... planning weekly grocery lists to pre-plan my meals... and finalizing a w.o. plan to stick to for 12 weeks(then will judge progress and adjust if necessary)...And I'm on my way! Anxious and excited to "officially" start my new lifestyle of fitness and self improvement come 9/22! Glad I'm not tracking calories tonight... going out to celebrate my "one day, 120 pound weight loss"! How many calories in a Budweiser?!? :reddevil:

145 cals for 12 oz--about the same for most beers. Stay away from Fat Tire--it is 200 calories per 12 oz! :eek:

Official Day One!!

AM Wifey, Paula, Curvie, Alta, UTBFMatt - Thanks for checkin' in. Things went great today!

Official Day One-
Early AM Upperbody workout went good. pushed myself to finish reps and complete all sets. Total time was 52 min. Probably a 9 on 1- 10 scale. Will try to hit 10 next time. Nothing really wakes you up like dropping 60 pounds toward your forehead(skull crushers)! I liked the morning workout, it really got my day off on the right path. Gotta love putting on the dress shirt for work and having it feel tight in the sleeves from the pump...now all I need to do is get rid of the tight at the waist problem.

Breakfast- Carb Control Oatmeal, 1 hardboiled egg, one glass skim milk
Snack 1 - non-fat yogurt, 1 large apple
Lunch - tuna fish sandwich(no fat mayo,mustard,pickle juice) 1 pear/apple(not sure what they are called but damn, they are good), 10 baby carrots.
Snack 2 - R2D shake (easy while I'm at work)
Dinner - Chicken breast and broccoli

8-16oz. bottles of water through the day

I did not track calories, need to start that tomorrow!
All in all, I felt real good today. Plenty of energy all day long, and was never hungry. Truly a good start. Day one was successful, on to day two of my new lifestyle. I'm not looking past anyday further than tomorrow!

Took before pictures (YIKES!!) will post them when I feel I've made good progress and need encouragement. Measurements have been taken, will post with new ones in four weeks. Weigh in day will be Mondays.

Wow your diet looks great! I might have to steal from ya! Good job taking the pics and measurements; can't wait to see them! :D
 
Day 2

Thanks guys.

Day two....Successful! AM eliptical machine for 40 minutes+ heavybag work 20 minutes = great workout! 8.5 - 9 on scale of 10. Work harder on thursdays cardio. Tomorrow...which is in like four hours... lower body workout.

Lunch - 2 - turkey sandwiches on wheat 100 calorie english muffin, 10 baby carrots.
Snack 2 - R2D shake (easy while I'm at work)
Dinner - brownrice and chicken and salsa mixed up, green beans, 15 almonds

I did not track calories, need to start that tomorrow??? Yes, tomorrow!
Felt good today again...it's nice to keep self promises. on to day three!
 
Good job, JZ. I know it's the pot calling the kettle black, but get some sleep. It does make a huge difference in the weight loss.

I know, muscle gain/recovery too! Its just sometimes with my three kids up until 9pm, doing finances, cleaning up the house, laundry... Man, I'm whining like a 4 year old...:nopity:... just need to reschedule some things to get a good routine down so I can get to bed earlier! That's on my "Weekend To Do List", so hopefully, next week won't be so hectic *crosses fingers, thinks about his kids, and says...well at least a little less hectic*
