I will take care of that when I learn how...LOL... I just officially started on Monday, so this coming monday is my first weigh in. I'll probably take care of it with that. Thanks for the good advice in your thread, and stoppin' by to check on mine.

... i have the attention span of a circus monkey lol :)
LMAO! :smilielol5: Sounds just like my group of 8 year old soccer players! One hour with them and I feel like I'm gonna pull my hair out! No attention span at all! From now on I'm going to look at all of them like little circus monkeys (and smile inside)! LOL

Day 4

Tight from the lower body workout yesterday...felt really good. Walk/jog for 3 mile this morning, then 20 minutes of heavy bag work! I kinda like the boxing thing, it takes me back to hockey?!?! Total workout time was 59 min. Scaled a 9 on a 1-10. Try harder next time to improve time by 3 minutes!

Breakfast - peanut butter toast. glass of skim milk
Snack 1- 20 almonds (nuts on the mind today I guess...Don't say it Curvie!)
Lunch- shreaded chicken pita pocket (no fat mayo, bannana peppers, pickle juice, spicy mustard) apple
Snack 2- R2D again, easy at work
Dinner- chicken breast with mushrooms, greenbeans, carrots, and peppers

10 16 oz bottles of water through out the day. Thirsty from the nuts???

Day 4...Success! Looking forward to upper body workout in the AM!! Damn, I forgot how good feeling good about yourself felt!! I like it!

I know EXACTLY what you mean about the soccer!! You should see K and 1st graders play flag football! Gotta love it though.

Just say no, Paula, just say no. ;)
Ha ha! Hence the reason I've only had 2 REAL female friends that have made it through the years... I have enough going on in my life without having to deal with girl drama lol...

BUT enough about me!!! On to day 5 tomorrow right? Your diet and workouts look awesome!:sifone:

Thanks Paula. It seems like the best way for me to complete everything, work excluded, is to take it a day at a time! Luckily, at the end of each day...I'm looking forward to the next one.

Old Mans League! Too busy to coach right now...might when my kids are older. Yeah, boxing, the heavy bag work, takes me back to the ice! You think people are born with a shnoz like mine... hell no, it's earned! :D Last year of junior A, I had 282 minutes in penalties in 64 games. Not reliving that dream LOL, or any other for that matter...that ship sailed a long time ago. I'm just going to have fun, and participate in the game I love. Well, that and be top point earner! Actually, we have a few real good players in the league. Two ex NHL'ers, and probably fourty college players. Should be a great time... really lookin' forward to it. Mark Howe (Gordies son) plays here. He's a DR. in Toledo. I've met gordie Howe a few times. He is still a big guy. I asked him what he did in the off season back then and he said... "WORK! We didn't make shit back then!" He was actually a Laborer for a concrete company during the summers. He said he built alot of muscle and character from "humping" two 80 pound bags of cement up a ladder at the same time! I'll have to dig out my "me with Gordie picture".

Ya got to play with passion lol, I understand the need for a bit o extra contact at times (I am still in the top ten list for penalty minutes in my old state comp and I havn't hit the ice since 95)

keep up the good exercise and have fun in ya league :)

Days 5 and 6

I was lazy, friday day 5, so I copied day fours meals exactly. Don't want to do that often... I need a little variety! So...

Breakfast - peanut butter toast. glass of skim milk
Snack 1- 20 almonds (nuts on the mind today I guess...Don't say it Curvie!)
Lunch- shreaded chicken pita pocket (no fat mayo, bannana peppers, pickle juice, spicy mustard) apple
Snack 2- R2D again, easy at work
Dinner- chicken breast with mushrooms, greenbeans, carrots, and peppers EVEN THOUGH MY KIDS HAD PIZZA... DAMN THAT WAS HARD!!!

10 - 16 oz. water throughout the day.

Upper body workout was PHENOMINAL!! 9.5 out of 10! Getting it all dialed in, and damn excited about it!!!

Day 5...Success! Weighed myself to join the "lose it by Christmas challenge... I've LOST 7 pounds!!!!!! Probably all water weight, but holy hell... does that feel good for just 5 days of the new lifestyle!!! I will weigh again on Monday, just to see what my "true" week results were, but then will probably only weigh on Fridays to post in the challenge.

Saturday, Day 6 -

Breakfast - 3 egg, one yoke omlette with peppers and no fat cheese, yogurt
Snack 1 - 1 large apple, yogurt
Lunch - 6" turkey breast sub from subway loaded with veggies and without cheese, apple slices, one sugar cookie...OOPS!!
Snack 2 - R2D- these are really conveinent, and good!
Dinner - Turkey roll up on wheat tortilla stuffed with veggies and spicy mustard, pear apple thingy...still don't know the name of them...still good

Ex- had kids for eight hours today, half of her monthly "weekend" time with the kids, so I took advantage!!

1.5 hours of tennis... lots of fun! Have not played in years!
15 mile bike ride with average speed of 15MPH. Good considering the 7MPH head wind drag on my currently wide body!!!
Drank like what seemed like two gallons of water today :D

Tired at bedtime, great day!
