Great job on resisting tempation doll, and you're incredible for finding a gym while you're away from home, that's serious dedication! I hope you found a gym you like and I hope you're having an amazing trip! Can't wait to hear how you're doing!
 
I am back!!!!

Hey you guys! i m back from my trip!

Trip was AMAZING!!! Loved it! :)
Not only had a good shopping trip and spent some quality time with my sister but i also bagged myself a bf. it was semi-expected - we have known each other for 2 years now. we werent quite sure it cd turn into something else. but it did!!! :hurray:
so yeah. good news!

Food: hmmmm....okies...confession...in the beginning it all went well - really well...but then spending time with mr boyfriend was not exactly beneficial for my healthy diet..he is a real junk food lover. the only thing i could do to save my diet is portion control - he literally finished half of my food. So (drum rolls) i actually lost a pound by the end of the trip. :party:

It would be party - but i m pretty sure i lost muscle and gained fat - i can feel it...but hey not too much damage is done...

then Easter came...and i have been behaving badly :blush5:....hehehe..but, i dont really wanna feel guilty about it - so i havent yet weighed myself this week.
i just have to get back on track (in the process)...

i already started with having salad for dinner.
next step is to go back to excercize... i thnk i need a few sessions in the gym before i attempt a hard core class - but hopefully in a week or 2 - i ll be there - and continue my quest to a healthy me.

i m supposed to see new bf in 3 months...long time..he is coming to Europe.
cant wait :D

OKdoki ... i m still jet lagged - so i cant sleep ( nearly 4 am here)
i think i ll use this time to catch up on your diaries...

Portion control during a vacation you are brilliant!! I would have eaten so much and I would have came back and boasted about how much I gained LOL

I cant wait to hear more on BF and how the trip went and I hope you have a fabulous sleep!

Def a good dea to start back at classes slow! It's amazing how much our fitness goes down so quickly.

I only got to see my boyfriend every few months for the first half of our relationship--It can suck! Get skype so you can chat! Glad you had fun darling xx

That is such amazing news and I couldn't be happier for you!! I know that puffy feeling after eating junk and how easy it is to give into it when others are eating it but you did great at making sure you did some portion control! 3 months will feel long but now you have 3 whole months to get back to your routine and look even more hot (is that possible??) when you see him and blow him away!! I'm so happy to have you back and I am looking forward to working hard with you!! I hope you caught up on some sleep and I hope you're having a lovely day! :waving:

As others have said - congrats on the lost lb and the gain of a bf. Do ease back into your routine - as you were working out quite a bit daily before - that might be a severe shock to your system if you tried to jump in again.

Charlie: thanks Charlie! i m slower to get back to classes than i should be....dont i just love when something comes up and makes my plans messed up...(as well as missing discipline right now)

Jennifer: thank you!!!i need to get back to the daily updates...i m being terrible right now - with everything..i havent been on a diet since 7th April - nearly a month!! ouch! so getting back to my daily routine is really gonna be shock to the system!

Its nice to be back!!

ONLY I M GUILTY :angelsad2: - AND CANNOT REPORT ANY PROGRESS....:blush5:

Dont you worry i have excuses!!!!
1) i m still at my parents --- home made food is irresistable (why am i still here:)
2) i need a procedure at the dentist (i have been with my dentist forever - dont fancy a change)
3) i have tons of work after a long break (this leads to no. 4 and 5) - i m a transaltor - so i can work from my parents..all i need is a laptop
4) i have no time for gym
5) i have no time to make my own food....

SO YOU SEE - excuses excuses...
the good news is that i ll get my tooth sorted on Tuesday and i m flying back to the coast on Wednesday. this will make things hundred times better.

So i think i have put on some weight...maybe even more than "some" -i wont update the scale since i m not using my own...but i think i defo put some pounds back on because of
-chocolate
-home food
-lack of excercize
-ToM

good news is that i only gained the weight in a week's time - that means its easily lose-able...and i ll do my best to lose it....

summer on the beach (where i live)..is quite a nightmare when u are overweight...i really really need to deal with this...

i wanna look good for me. i wanna be healthy for me.
cant wait to excercize again...i look fwd to swimming so much...
it s gonna happen...its just i need to get back home...

am i making too many excuses??? :icon_bs: i know..i am...

give me a few more days and i show you that i can pick myself up and continue.

homemade food is worse than chocolate to avoid...my Mother is an awesome cook...and she lives 10 min. from us and loves to bake...her pies (apple, lemon and now coconut cream) are the BEST, her homemade bread and buns....would make you drool, she makes PERFECT sugar cookies...the list goes on..oh the cherry balls....I could avoid any chocolate bar over those things and she surprises us with "treats" occasionally.

You'll be home before you know it and back on track..this mini bump in the road won't even show in a weeks time! Enjoy the rest of your stay!
 
Justina - love the excuses and you calling yourself out.

I know you are going to rock it back to your routine when you are home. You'll be able to reflect back on this trip and decide what you can do differently next time.

Good job on calling yourself out on the excuses, I how how you feel with not being at home and not sticking to your routine, when I go to visit family in Texas and they are making delicious home cooked southern (meaning super duper fatty) food that smells amazing I always cave, I will usually say okay I'll just have a taste and end up with a bowl full. Even visiting my parents who live 10 minutes away from me always feels like I'm visiting temptation city, they have snacks and treats that seem to always be calling my name but you're right, you're going to go home and pick up where you left off and get yourself back into your routine. The bigger picture is that you WANT to get back into it, so many people slack off and see that they've slacked off and just give up all together and let old habits get the best of them so good job with that! You're going to rock it out I have no doubts! Have a wonderful day doll :seeya:

Story of my life -_- One thing I have been doing to curb the chocolate cravings that I would like to recommend is diet or sugar free hot chocolate made with water instead of milk. 20-25 calories and it really cures the chocolate craving!
 
I expect you to totally pick yourself back up again and keep on chugging along! But you did say you wanted to give yourself a bit of time to your skin so consider that time right now! Then you don't even have to feel guilty at all!

You are going to go back home and swim and start things along anyways! Enjoy yourself now and when you get home don't weight yourself right away. Get back into the groove of things and then weigh yourself after a bit. Savor every bite now, enjoy your family and have a good time!
 
Amanda: Mmmmmmm....yum yum...there s nothing like being home..whn granny and mom keep wanting to treat me (if i let them) - i think i enjoyd my stay to the max!!!

Jennifer: thanks lovely - the thing is i know what i sd or sd have dne....i just kinda relaxed into a situation...i have a menal block at home food-wise...

Janvier: you describing the temptation...oh boy does it sound familiar!! yum - and your homemade food sounds delish!!! but yeah....i think the good thing is that i knew i was gonna continue...just gave myself a week/and half or more like 2 weeks off....heheh - thanks lovely for your kind words!

Gooood news!!! i m home!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

My tooth seems to be sorted - YAY!

& now that i m home - my mental block is gone. I went to do the food shoppig - automatically picking up the right things at the supermarket - veggies, fruits, low fat milk, feta cheese, salmon..etc...amazing!!!

Also my eating is going back to normal...at least my portion sizes are going down.
today i had:
small sanwich for breakie (with egg and bacon)
snacks: cherry tomatoes, coffee, strawberries, grapefruit, olives (i was travelling)
dinner: cereals with banana
Woohoooo :hurray:

Excercize...ok not much....walking in airport terminals...does it count?
i m determined to get back to the gym tommorrow...no classes though yet... i need to get my fitness level back a bit....i start classes next week as well as swimming...
Summer has arrived - so i will be doing more excercize outside..

also my suitcase fell on my foot (hurts!!!) my suitcase weighed nearly 50 lbs...(lifting it i cant believe i lost 1.5 x of the weight...scary)
anyway...hope my foot is better for tomorrow...as i dont want more excuses...

SCALE DAY: First real scale day since 27th March coming this Sunday....scary....well i have a few days to cushion the blow..

Yay on the food shopping - always a good sign when you naturally grab the right stuff.

I do think walking through airport terminals counts for cardio - and heck - lifting a suitcase is like lifting weights. LOL

You'll be rockin it again in no time.
