Well I havent been around recently - i guess it s down to being a bit unmotivated and depressed - (last 2 weeks) - but i think i managed to pick myself up.

So far this year i lost 8.3kg. which is not too bad...but it really DID slow down - yes you guessed it right the last 2 weeks. it s good really now i m losing 0.8 kg every week (on average) - quite normal.
i started at 106 kg: 3th January.
the challange for February is to become overweight...hahaha not everyone's dream..but of those who are obese..
as far as calculation goes i have to lose 4 kg...so actually i think i have to wait until March...little by little....

Food - i m trying to avoid processed food as much as i can. I eat tons of vegetables - i found some awesome recepies online - that are low fat and nutritious.
I eat low sugar content fruits...apart from banana - that s my new breakfast: banana with whole wheat cereals.
I drink plenty of water...this is a challange and a half.
& i try to add more protein too...lean meat, tofu., soya products, quinoa, pulses, fish...

Sport..excercise...i became a fitness ball addict. i try to go to 2 classes a week - and now i have my own at home..so when i dont have a class i use it at home.
i do swmming twice a week too. and cardio the rest of the days.
next mission is body sculping....i m a bit intimidated by it- so i thought i d go when i reach 95kg - i dont know why - i need to build up some confidence.

So February here i come!

well im doing good this week with the diet - as usual
and with excercize as usual...
but i have a battle on my hand - as i hate my skin with a passion...
i get really depressed about it....
every day i make an effort to pick myself up.

the funny thing is - that its not really the media the gets me down...but the gym...every time i go to the gym - i just keep comparing myself to others...
to be honest on the whole my skin is ok....apart from the strech marks...i m not bothered about that to be honest..
but i cant stand the sagginess of my breasts...
considering im only 29 and havent had a child oh yeah and single...makes me icredibly insecure..i cant describe it.

anyway....rant is over...

Today i had
cereals w banana for breakfast
wok - noodles/tofu/corurgette with nuts and sesame seeds for lunch
i ll have salmon with salad for dinner
snack - grapefruit

excercize: i ll do cardio @ the gym and some weights at home with the fitness ball

well i m feeling better.
i have come across an inspirational video - and watched it on youtube.
one of my friends posted it on facebook. it really helped me
so yay!
soon its weigh in day...sunday is upon me.

today i had an awesome workout. :Angel_anim:
i only found praking for my car 15 mins walk from the gym.
so that s basicly 30 min walk (round trip :))
then in the gym i did cylce for 20 mins - very low intesity
then 30 mins fitness ball workout with dumbells. i love it!!! i wish the class was longer.
and i finished my workout with on the cross country machine (30mins).
1 hr 50 mins :) wooohoooo!
food.
breakfast: cereals with banana
lunch: greek pasta salad (cherry tomato/spinach/blk olives/feta cheese)
snack: orange
dinner: raw spinach salad with raw salomon and some nuts
drink: 1l water/1.5l green/herb tea
 
Hey there! You've made a REALLY good start already! Just keep at it and you'll get there!

I was really digging your food list until I saw RAW SALMON!!! :ack2: Not sure I could eat that. I love it FULLY COOKED though!

Raw salmon is ok in salads/bagels with cream cheese...mmmm :p

today i m okish - spirit wise..
foodwise.....
i had chocolate.......bad justina :angelsad2:
well it was at least 70% cocoa so wasnt completly bad ...

other then that i had
cerealas with strawberry for breakie
(strawberry season is in in southern Spain!! yay!)
pasta with tuna for lunch
for dinner i m having raw spinach salad with cherry tomato, feta, cucumber in olive oil/lemon dressing

workout:
swimming different strokes for an hour
sauna 2x10mins :)

Tomorrow weigh in day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
SCALE DAY: I lost 0.8 kg. - which is perfectly normal i guess. :)

i thought today i d take time off from the gym. i really badly need to clean my flat.

i'll probably just go down to the sea to take a walk. :coolgleamA:

breakfast: cereals with kiwi
lunch: hmmm - i m cooking rice with tomato curry
snack: grapefruit/nuts
dinner: green salad with grilled tofu
 
Hi - sounds like you got a great workout in the other day. It is nice that you can take a stroll by the sea.

today i had a very lazy day...well even yesterday...its nearly 1 am...
i m lazy...(lazy - not going to the gym/excercize) bc my washing machine is out of order...and the technician hasnt arrived yet (welcome to spain) - tomorrow its gonna b the third time i gonna call him.
so i just cant face hand washing all my gym cloths every day. besides it wont dry for the next day.... some friends offered help- but i trusted that the washng machine would get fixed by now.
i know its an excuse...but also i do miss the excercize.
i couldnt even go out as the the technician might turn up....too bad.
Food
i try tobehave myself (since there s no excercize)
breakfast: cereals with kiwi
lunch: pasta con pesto
dinner: tomato soup
snack: 2 grapefruit (i m a grapefruit addict - especially the pink ones -- yum)

anyway hopefully tomorrow things start to look up.
fingers crossed.
 
Isnt it crazy how life throws stupid little problems at us to keep us from staying on track? I left my ipod at home on my recent business trip and it was sooooo hard for me to exercise without it....Fight through it girl!
 
yeah..i know!!! the pain when i dont take my ipod to the gym..makes the minutes feel like hours...

Yipppeeeeeee!!!! washing machine is up and running again!!!

I had positive day - but no excercise done...so from tomorrow - yay!!

Menu today:
breakie: cereals
lunch: pasta with king prawns al pilpil
snack -grapefruit and strawberry :)
dinner: chicken soup

I also did cleaning - i have a friend from London coming to see me for the rest of the week!!yay!!!!
i already told her about my excercize routine - so she might join me - and yet to tell her about my not eating after 7 pm routine..

so i m off to the airport now to pick her up.

My friend is here and she came to the sports club with me today.
we had an awesome workout.
i did 30 mins bike, 30 mins fitness ball class then 55mins on the cross country trainer!!! go me go me!
food:

snack: strawberry
lunch: chikckpeas + grilled aubergine in home made dressing :drool5:
snack: graefruit
dinner: spinach salad with salmon, cherry tomato, cucumber
drink:water/tea
