Justina's February Diary

SCALE - DAY
& not exactly a spectacular one: i lost 0.5 kg in a week...I m 96,5 kg
which makes February almost a failure...very slow :( I only lost 2 kg!!

Anyway...i had my ups and downs - i had guests...so all in all i should be happy with it. i m just really keen to reach my mini goal for Easter.

I also posted some pix of me BEFORE & INBETWEEN & AFTER section - feel free to check them out.

As for today: i had a very early morning - i had to take grandparents to the airport. off they went. so once i was up i just went to the gym. (Gym shuts early on a sunday)
FOOD:
BREAKIE: one slice of bread with butter and blueberry jam + Skinny latte @ the airport
LUNCH: a big bowl of pasta and tuna fish with some olive oil sprinkled on top
SNACK: grapefruits
DINNER: simplified greek salad: spinach/cherry tomato/cucumber/feta with flaxseed oil + lemon dressing

Still need to drink loads of water....and tea today - so far i had only a litre.

EXCERCIZE:
70 min cardio @ gym
60 min brisk walking (including uphill downhill)
 
That's still a loss! May it never come back! You're doing really great with your exercise routine, impressive!

ANY loss is not considered a failure! It just means things are moving slower than ya want them to. You have great workouts, good diet choices(minus the occasional oops, lol- I have these too!), and a desire to do it. Every step you take is a step towards health and happy :)

Keep up the good work, and CONGRATS on the loss for February! :) Next month will be a bigger number for you- you know what works and what doesn't... that always helps!
 
I too have issues with my skin and saggy chest. It does discourages me from time to time, not sure how it will all look when I'm done but hoping it's not too bad. I have a niece that tells me that I'll never be happy with the way I look but that's the plan!

Would love to have a beach to walk on locally..enjoy!

Good job on the loss!!! :D! .5 lbs a week is actually my goal weekly. That means in a year, that's 24lbs less. HELL YEA!!! I'll take that! You should be happy, your body is changing regardless of that number!!

Okay today was a really nice day - i woke up just before sun rise ( 7 55am) and i watched it from my terrace over the sea - i think this defo filled me with energy for the whole day - loved it. :)
Also today it was a public holiday in Andalucia (where i live in Spain)
So that means the gym is only open in the morning. I decided to go there for opening time - which is 9 am.
I went swimming, did an hour - then i went into the sauna for 21 mins (3x7mins) with ice shower in between - loved it!
& in the afternoon i did an hour brisk walking down to the port and back again (uphill+downhill combo)
I was gonna do some weight training. but i met up with a friend instead for a tea :)

Foodwise:
Breakie: cereals with banana (my banana wasnt mature enough - meh)
Snack: orange
Lunch: red rice salad with spinach/feta/onion/nuts in a home made healthy dressing
Snack: grapefruit
Dinner: Green salad with salmon
Drinks: water/tea
i still have to drink more...i have had just over a litre so far...
 
Wow you are doing so great :) You will be getting to your goal cause you are working so hard for it! Your diary has so much positive things that you have done to attain your goals! Good job :)

1 st of MARCH!!! This is defo the month for me to become overweight - bye bye obesity - i m hoping to lose 3-4 kgs - which is 0.8-1 kg a week. That is very healthy I guess. I dont know how to change my title for my diary - nevertheless i wanna continue it...so hey February is gonna be an indiactaion of when i started the diary.
I ve already put together a balanced diet for the week. and I am deciding on my workout plan. I ll post it once i have it done.
Since my job is really flexible (translator) i can orgnize my time really well :D
i m lucky like that!

Ok today.
Food:
Breakfast: cereals + banana
Snack: strawberries
Lunch: Vegeterian Wok with fresh vegetables & tofu with 2 wholewheat tortilla wraps (see pic :drool5: )
Snack: strawberries
Dinner: green salad + cherry tomatoes + cucumber with tuna with lemon-flaxseed oil dressing

Excersize:
90 min cardio in the gym (coming up) and some wieght training at home (again yet to be completed)
 
Sounds like you are really determined to make March a good month. Good luck on reaching your goal and keep it up! :hurray:

Your diary is great.. I love your positive attitude, so infectious! I fear mine will be more like an emotions dump, especially at first here. But I hope to sound as positive as you do 50 lbs down the road!
 
The warm weather is well on the way now so we have no excuse not to get out and walk and we are both so lucky to live in such gorgeous parts of Spain where it is a pleasure to walk.
Good luck with getting overweight real soon. :)
I'm hoping to get normal in the next few months.

Ecky: you are totally right!!! we are lucky indeed! Last Saturday we had 27 C !!! The beach filled up! Loved it - i went fot a walk too! :)
 
We had rain on Saturday and Sunday but Monday was gorgeous spring sunshine. The tourists were getting sunburnt just walking around in it.
 
Ups & downs yesterday - but i guess i manged to get out on top :Angel_anim:

It all started up well but then in the afternoon i was totally on the munch - and i ate the rest of the tortillas from the pack (extra 808 calories - not that i count them..but hey!!! thats a lot!) So i went to the gym - and i stayed longer and pushed myself harder - until i burnt those guilty calories!
& the btw i think i got something good out of it. By staying longer in the gym - i got a sneak peek of a class - i was thinking about taking for a while: body sculping!!! it looks just the perfect thing for me - i think i ll go on Thursay!!! Excited!! Actually I think i need to do some workout cloths shopping - my washing machine is giving up...LOL

So no harm on the scale today - phew!! :)

Today new day - and what a gorgerous one - sun is shining over the Mediterranean Sea :)

Today my plan on food is:
Breakie:cereals + banana with skinny latte
Snack: grapefruit
Lunch: chickpeas with grilled aubergine Morroccon style (yummy home made dressing)
Snack: grapefruit
Dinner: Green salad with tuna + cherry tomato/cucumber and lemon-flaxseed oil

Workout: 30 min fitness ball class + 60 min cardio (Ecliptica+bike+maybe skating machine thing)


Bring it on!!!

i wish i lived by the sea and it doesnt even have to be as posh as the mediteranien sea.

sounds like your doing great i hope you keep it up, your food looks great.
 
Awesome about the sculpting class! Thats something exciting to look forward too! Eats are looking really healthy too! Good job :)
 
good job putting in the extra time to work off those cals. please do share about the body sculpting class....hope it is what you are looking for.
