Justina - wedding bells ...countdown to June 2014

So I had a good day today. Food was good.
B: Peantubutter/jelly ezekiel toast
L: Tuna rice salad + coconut chocolate chip cookies
D: Leftover tuna rice salad
I also went to the gym between work and picking up my husband from school
E: 1 hr elliptical.
GO ME :)
Tomorrow it's pizza day at work...you gotta love the temptation all around you!!!
 
MmmMMMmmmmMMmmmmm... that food sure does look good! I need more recipes like that to add to my meal plan. I'm not much of food planner so I could definitely use some inspiration. Will check out those recipes for sure!
 
Well thank you guys for loving my recipes :) & I am glad I could inspire some of you. it is always a mission to plan a week ahead. There are some reasons I do it:
- i am trying to do everything from scratch
- money is tight - trying to have no waste - it's hard with veggies, fruit - hence the planning
- time is tight - certain items have to be done in the weekend so I can just take them out from the freezer
- If i don't plan I might end up getting something unhealthy on impulse.

Anyway. Good day. Work is ok...overwhelming really - I really just want to know stuff already - I dislike the training period. I will get there eventually.
Food is good. I had:
B: Lucy's banana cookies yum! + latte WARNING they are addictive:
L: Pearl couscous salad with garbanzo beans + dried mango + apple
D: Mixed salad with a boiled egg - ezekiel toast
Exercise@ zero...hopefully tomorrow

No recipe for the salad - I just made it up -all veggies I had at home + garbanzo beans + couscous & lemon-oil dressing

I am down to 250. YAY! Well.
I am having a little juice fast this weekend starting today, back to solids on Monday.

Thank God it's Sunday. The 2-day juice fast is over. & I am actually excited to eat salad tomorrow? I mean when was the last time you get excited to eat parsley? HUH! & Now I have my tabboulah chilling in my fridge. I can't wait!!!

I was down to 249 this morning. So things are going well.
Tomorrow I will try to get to the gym too after work.
 
Hi Justina- congrats on losing 2.5kg in one week. Great start sweets! What a lovely incentive to lose weight. Hope you can find the time to hit the gym xo Cate
 
You are doing great with the meal planning and exercises, and your results are proof of your hard work :)
 
You're definitely on the right path. Keep at it! You have the best reason ever for some inspiration! Just keep reminding yourself of why you're doing this. :)

I am doing good: Well, the weight seems to be falling off when I eat the right food. I have lost 10 lbs on 2 weeks which is pretty awesome. I make sure I don't skip any meal and have all nutrients. Yeah I had a 2 day juice fast. I am now back to solid food - the transition went so well that I continue to lose weight. I have no major food cravings either. People leave food stuff around in the office (chocolate, cake, donuts) - they do not even tempt me. I am good.
I have my fair share of sweets too - to satisfy my sweet tooth. I usually make them from scratch, or I eat dried fruit.

I am not doing so good: Exercise. Last week I made it happen. I went to the gym 2x. This week has been extremely busy both at home and at work. I expect it to be the same next week. Plus my husband's family is coming for Thanksgiving. I have to clean. While that could count for exercise I really prefer a regular proper workout. Hopefully in December I will be back in business.
 
I know what you mean about wanting a real workout over just cleaning, BUT at the same time every little bit does add up. It’s not like you were just sitting on the sofa watching tv. You DID accomplish something. However little it may be, it’ll all add up in the end. You’re doing great with food intake so that’ll go a long way to help you out too. :)

Ohhhh, chicken paprikas.... I grew up on that.... Will have to make it.

Ten lbs in 2 weeks IS awesome! And way to go -- leaving the donuts and cake (especially those two) alone at the office. My office is a grenade field like that many times.
 
Hi, well I wasn't really around b/c it was a bit quiet for me here and I went on reboot with joe's website to help me out after the holidays. I have been doing a lot of juicing.

Now I am at 239.6 lbs. So I lost 11lbs (overall) since I was here.
