Justina: Back to square one - very excited & determined to do this right

Hope everything works out with what your stressing about and YAY on the happy scale. Mine was...ok today, not mean but not overly nice either!

I hope your paperwork doesn't get 'lost.'

Congrats on the scale! I haven't weighed myself yet. Waiting for the moring.

Ugh, when things like that happen, I get so frustrated! I hope it all ends up working out for you! So glad you are not letting the stress affect your nutrition and exercise! I for one am guilty of letting that happen...so it is motivating to see you taking things in stride! Hope the rest of your day has gone better...:) It is Friday after all!

I love tzatziki sauce! its a great lower calorie substitute for mayo or sour cream, ranch etc! And a little goes a long way IMO. I havent made my own yet which im sure would be healthier... im just kind of lazy so I try to keep my house stocked with quick and easy healthy options. I'm using the safeway brand right now but at the organic food store i saw a different brand thats even lighter so ill buy it when this one runs out.

Don - taking frustration out in exercising - what a great idea - thanks :D

Maryann - thanks!! I DID make it to the gym yay!! :) No, gym is open - we have no holiday here...

MrVee - thanks for your support!

Mystic - thanks :) I hope your scale moves soon too!

Cory - thanks!! I do weigh myself every day - tomorrow is the official weigh in day though! Good luck to you too!

Camila - thanks! keeping up with eating well when you are under a lot of pressure, and worried all the time - is pretty hard - I guess in the end it comes down to two things: 1) how dedicated you are 2) how serious your situation is/your perception of the seriousness of the situation!

Katie - tzatziki is super easy to make - it takes 5 mins! & a handful of ingredients - maybe you should try it! :)

Happy Friday/Saturday :)
I did pretty well today with food (posted earlier today)

I had clementine & pistachios for snack this afternoon & I juiced in the evening! It was yum!
& I made it to the gym despite of the rain!
Feeling good about myself!:Angel_anim:

One more day and I can have chooooccoolllate yay!

Weigh in day tomorrow for the challenge - good luck everyone!

Weigh in day. I lost 3lbs this week. Yay! :hurray:

I wish I could do this more often... I really need to start losing weight - my weight have been up n' down 3lbs since the end of January...I am down 18lbs since January 9th...It seems like that I lost those 18 lbs in January alone...

Great jobs, Justina! 3 lbs in one week is awesome!!! 18 pounds since January is still a great amount. Just keep putting the work in and the scale will eventually catch up with you :)

PS you can have chocolate!!

I hear you there, Justina. I just now got to the point I was two weeks ago. It's maddening. I really hope I see another down next week and not a stay the same or an up!

Weigh in day. I lost 3lbs this week. Yay! :hurray:
Woo hoo!

Allow yourself a little time to enjoy it and then just hop right back into the plan. A pound here and there will start to add up pretty quickly. By my count you're on a pace of about 1.2 pounds a week. Maybe you'd like a little more, but that's still pretty good and will add up.

Great job, Justina! 3lbs is a HUGE accomplishment!

Don't worry all the exercise you've been doing is just laying the groundwork for future losses. Build muscle, then work it, and burn those calories! You're going the right direction, don't worry.

Thank you guys!!! :) I hope you are right about this losing weight business!

Oh, and by the way: I HAVE HAD CHOCOLATE!!!! after 6,5 weeks. So proud of me.

View attachment 20411 - i had two milka eggs.. Happy Easter indeed!

Thanks Mystic.

I forgot to say that even though I had chocolate I also went to the gym for an hour! & I lost a 0.8lb since yesterday!!!
Easter feast today!! So I defo have to go to the gym!!! I seem to be on a roll! :D

Congrats on the loss!! 0.8lb is fantastic!! And great job on going to the gym :) Hope you have a very Happy Easter!!!

Good job on the loss Justina! Enjoy your Easter...don't eat today what you will regret tomorrow...slow and steady is the key to weight loss...it's a journey not a race...stay the course!
Sarah

Thanks Camila & Sarah!

Great day today. First part was really stormy and rainy...and dark - but then the sun came out playing in the afternoon :coolgleamA: & it was pretty warm too (18C/66F). So after our traditional Easter feast of ham, hard boiled eggs & bread and tons of raw vegetables we went out to the lake for a bit of walking - it was so nice and calm!! Then I went to the gym and did an hour on the treadmill. I kind of feel like I could do more exercise - so I might do some weights with my target toning DVD. I wanna see results :)
Plus I had 2 (Small) Easter eggs today ( I am all chocolated out) :D

Food:
B: Kakaós kalács View attachment 20417 with latte
S: -
L: Ham, hard boiled egg, cucumber, radish, carrot, tomato, bread +glass of rose
S:2 small Easter eggs
D: Pineapple smoothie

E: 1 hr treadmill (possibly more toning exercises)

I stay away from breads, but that Kakaos Kalacs looks AWESOME. I'd break my rule to try that one.
We have a decent Hungarian Restaurant nearby that has an attached bakery... I may check in and see if they have that. Maybe I'll wait until after I've hit 100lbs lost, then I can order the Chicken Paprikas and Cabbage Rolls, too. mmmm. No wonder I'm fat. I sure love food.

Don - it is heavenly!!I kinda feel bad that you wanna break your rule though! It is defo worth it :D
BTW chicken paprikas is super easy to make - it's actually on my menu this week!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So today the weather is sooo good that we decided to go to the lake for a "picnic" in the lunch break.
I packed home-made tomato curry with rice & some water.

We also fed the duckies...and took some photos...of us...I still hate photos of me :( ...I look huge...most of the time I m hiding behind my husband... I can't wait to see some improvement!

Also the other day - I was upset about the bureaucratic problems i was experiencing - I am complaining no more - it got resolved in a week!!!!! instead of 6-8 weeks. This is awesome. Apparently I little complain/fuss goes a long way!

Foodwise:
B: Finished kakaós kalács from yesterday
S: Banana
L: Tomato curry with rice
S: Dark chocolate, pineapple
D: Veggie juice

E: GYM

:) :) Recipe, please! :) :)

I'll take an authentic recipe over one I'd likely find online anytime!

Great job getting the bureaucracy to move in your favor! You sound like my sister-in-law; she believes the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and almost always gets her way after a time. By the way, I feel the same way about photos... I don't look anywhere near as good as I've been feeling the last 2-3 months.
