Justina: Back to square one - very excited & determined to do this right

Thanks Mystic & Hana!!!

Gosh! I am so out of it these days..

Just a reminder: My husband got accepted to uni near Boston, MA so we are moving TWICE this summer. First to Michigan in June, then to Massachusetts in August.
The whole summer is gonna be super exciting and stressful:
-- tons of driving (Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts)
-- flying ( to & within Europe)
-- meeting great great grandmother's sister family for the first time here in the States (super excited)
-- moving 2x
So many things to sort out, budget, people, organize - it's crazy!!

Diet..I am on juice diet - day 1 - drinking mean green juice - :ack2: - only doing a 4-day fast this time.
Scale sucked this morning. tom. Plus i m in pain all over because I did a killer workout yesterday (the good kind of pain) Today I m back to boring cardio - can't go crazy with the juicing.

I really really want to see the scale move. I hate how tom does this to me every month. Plus can I have my sister's metabolism? Unfair!!
Rant is over.

I hope you guys had a great weekend!!! :patriot:
Off to the diaries now. :grouphug:

Wow, that's a pretty busy summer's schedule.
Awesome you're coming to Europe, we are you planning to go?

Just keep going at the workouts, scale results will show up again!

Hey! When you move to Boston we'll kind of be neighbors! I live in southern NH. During the summer I spend quite a bit of time in Gloucester. I love my time in MA. I hope you guys enjoy it once you're here too! :)

Thank you guys!!! :grouphug:

Mandy - I can't wait to live in MA!! I have been there before (though not the area we are moving to) & I loved it!!

Guideon - I am from Europe - so we are going to see family/friends in the UK & in Hungary - and visit some friends in Spain. We also stop by Italy, my husband is half Italian: more family!

Day 2 of juice diet - nothing much to report really. It's going well.
I also went to the gym to do some light cardio: half an hour bike & half an hour treadmill.

Other than that I am planning our 9 day getaway. We are doing a road trip: Texas (Dallas, San Antonio, Houston) + Louisiana (New Orleans) + Alabama (Birmingham) - leaving next Tuesday. I am a bit worried about my diet - but other than that I am really excited!!!!

Hope all the moving goes well.

Seems like you're going to be doing some globetrotting. That should keep you plenty busy anyway.

Thanks guys!!!

Day 4 of juicing - yay! The final day.

Today I was 237 on the scale, which is a new low. I am very pleased about it. I hope it goes down a bit more (I am still juicing today) It would be great to cut myself some slack before the Southern trip! :D

Yesterday I did go to the gym - treadmill for an hour. Today I am planning to do the same.

Oh-lala -on tornado watch again... when is tornado season over?

Other than that - all good - almost done with my juices for the day!!
I look forward to cooking tomorrow yay!!!!

I spent an hour in the gym - cardio.

Thanks Mystic. Got lucky yesterday with the tornadoes - they hit mainly rural areas - with mainly fields. Severe weather to continue today :(

Today I am back to solids yay! I had my blueberries for breakfast. I have some strawberries as well.

Lunch: vegetable soup & roasted veggies.

Dinner: vegetable soup

Exercise: 1 hour in the gym.

sorry to hear about the severe weather Justina. I wanted to let you know I finally got my juicer! I'll be joining you on your next juice fast.

Hey Xenon! Thanks for stopping by. I will probably do the next one in about 2 weeks...a little less - 12/13 June.

Today is weigh in day. I am down to 236.4 lbs. It is 37.6 lb-loss since January. It's almost 40 lbs! Yay!

This weekend I will be eating healthy and exercise - if I dare to wonder out - we are on flash flood alert in most of the state.

Severe weather is coming today - strong thunderstorm. I hope storms wont be capable of producing tornadoes this time. We don't have a "safe place" in our rented property. I was actually toying with the idea of driving to the South but we stayed put eventually. Fingers crossed.

Congrats on continued weight loss.

Try and be safe with the weather there. Tornado alley is no joke.

Be safe, Justina! And get out of tornado alley!

Being from California, I used to get funny looks from people thinking I was crazy for living in Earthquake Alley. Sure, I was in a few earthquakes, but none of them led to the destruction I've seen in Oklahoma on the news lately. Tornadoes freak me out a little.
