Bring on the Greek Food Fest tomorrow! :hurray:

Holy cow! Nice job on all your loss! If you spend any more time in the gym you are going to have to forward your mail there. Have a great time at the Greek festival! You've earned a nice break.

Also, I'm happy you bought those jeans. I call those goal pants. It's a no doubt success when you button the same pair that you couldn't button before. I bet you'll be in them soon.

Hope the food festival is good, chick! I'm so jealous. Adore greek food! How do you find so much time to go to the gym!!

Hope the festival is great! You are blowing my mind with this weight loss of yours!!! It is incredible. Also, your workouts are getting more and more impressive. You have got to be feeling amazing. Also heading in the right direction before you jet off to Europe! Keep up the fantastic work.

Well??

How was the Greek Fest??

For that day did you jump off the wagon, then set fire to it?? :D

I absolutely adore Greek food and miss the days of going to the Festival in Portland.
Hope all is well and you're being good.

Oh wow, thank you guys for the check-ins & supportive comments :grouphug:

I have been MIA - not because I got off the wagon - more like I was caught up with the whole worrying about the weather here.
The perks of living in tornado alley (one month to go before moving)... Seeing what happened in Moore, OK just freaked me out, knowing that the storm was heading our way. We got lucky so far. We only have tornado watch on the Southern part of the state. Also the air cooled down a lot because of the rain - so we got lucky there too!

The Greek Food Fest was great! I only had ONE gyros sandwich & worked my butt off after in the gym.
Unfortunately I did buy 6 baklavas...and I had 5 yesterday!!! That's like 330 kcal x 5...I managed to work off 3 in the gym - so it's not too bad.

I did put on about 1.5-2 lbs. I think it's TOM (which is overdue -grrr) or muscle gain as my food in general is really good (apart from the baklava) & I average 3 hours in the gym every day. Don't imagine an intense 3 hour though. I did loads of weight training combined with cardio in the weekend - yesterday and today it's only cardio. I only stay in the gym that long out of necessity: my husband has the car - he drops me off at midday and picks me up at 4pm - so if I am there I might as well do some exercise, right? So I do cycling, walking on the treadmill or if I wanna go crazy: elliptical.

I try to update now every day. Off to your diaries now :D

First of all - so happy to hear you've escaped the brunt of the bad weather for now. Watching footage of the tornado in Oklahoma is just unbelievable. I know a few people who lost everything...just so devastating. Luckily they escaped physically unharmed which is fortunate.

Ahhh! Glad you enjoyed the festival! Gyros are my favorite drunk food, hands down. And 3 hours in the gym each day! That's incredible, even if you say you're not going at full intensity...everything you've written sure sounds productive to me!

Ugh each month we all collectively grumble about the side effects of TOM. Grrr. That small increase on the scale can be so irritating! But something tells me that number will be back down in no time for you! ;)

Have a fantastic remainder of your week!

Glad that you've managed to miss the bad weather. That sounded pretty scary. I'm happy the festival was good! I'm also up in weight right now due to LOADS of sodium and food over the weekend haha.

I didn't realize you lived out west. I'm glad you escaped the storms safely. It's really heart breaking seeing what all of those people are going through. I could never live out there. :(

Glad you enjoyed your time at the festival. We all need those breaks. :)

I wouldn't worry too much about the weight gain especially if you feel it's the TOM. Sometimes it really stinks being a girl huh?

|Wow Congrats on the amazing weight loss!!!! WOW I may try the juicing .....might help me with craving or the surgar addiction! Great job!

Glad to hear that you are safe, Justina. We have friends in OK who were unaffected, but still frightened by these storms. I have to say I'm happier out here in the West with our earthquakes and volcanoes...

I am totally MIA. Sorry. I will reply tomorrow to your nice posts.
A bit crazy here lately! We are moving TWICE this summer. First to Michigan in June, then to Massachusetts in August.
My husband got accepted to uni there. So it's all very exciting - but also stressful - a lot of things to take care of.

Bit naughty with my exercise today & yesterday. I was feeling really tired yesterday - I went to the gym : I did 20 mins & I almost fell of the treadmill & I had a brownie today...ooops...: cravings/feeling tired/meh = ToM - So I most definitely gonna be up a few pounds tomorrow. No biggie. 100% normal.

I am on the right track, starting my next 4/5 day juicing session on Sunday.

Tomorrow I will check out your diaries. Now I just wanna curl up and watch some good movie. Happy weekend you all! :grouphug:
