Well...Lately I've just been sick of hating myself.
So here I am.
I've been big most of my life. Probably since I was 8. Here I am, 18, still probably about 220 lbs and about 6" tall. I'm not comfortable with myself, and every day is terrible. Just a simple thing like sitting there in my class, I feel uncomfortable. I feel ugly. My body and my mind have been completely drained at times, just from the stress of...living. Does anyone remember feeling that way? So uncomfortable in your own skin, it's tough just to be anywhere near people?
Well... I don't want to feel that way anymore. So I've decided to change.
I've been eating a lot better for the past 7 weeks. Probably still not very healthy, but a nice improvement for me.
So I have some questions...
If I had a little bowl of cereal in the morning, a bag of sunchips and a little gatorade for lunch, and a salad for dinner, is that good?
Is it too much?
If I were to eat like that most of the time, would that be a decent way of eating for me? I'm totally comfortable with it. I get pretty hungry sometimes before lunch, but the chips usually satisfy me until dinner.
And as for exercise...I'm not an active person. I'm wondering if anyone knows of some simple stuff I could do just to get started.
And for my biggest issue, something that's probably been the biggest issue for me for as long as I can remember...
I've kinda got man boobs....
It's weird, even most people who are bigger than me don't have it like I do. Most guys have flatter chests, no matter how fat they may be. But for me, mine seem to point out more than they should, and it makes me feel like complete sh*t. Sorry for the language, that's just the only way for me to describe it.
I don't even like wearing t-shirts alone, I prefer to wear layers, or a hoodie of some sort. And considering I live at the south end of Texas, that's definitely not practical. It's always blazing hot here. So yeah, I get teased for wearing a jacket so much. But to me, that's better than people seeing me without one.
So I definitely want to know if weight loss should help me with that. Or if there are any specific exercises that can help me to tone my chest. I've been occasionally trying to do pushups. Though I can't do much yet.
That's really all I know as far as toning the chest goes, and I don't even think it's done much.
