Juliette cross-training for Romèo

Whew, it's busy here today. I've been doing a lot of reading and some writing this evening and suddenly realized I hadn't written anything of my own. So here goes:
Exercise
Walking (from one place to another) 25 minutes 135 cals
Eaten
cals 1750
prot 150
carb 148
fat 62
fibre 35
Had a busy day and when I came home it was raining, so no exercise to speak of today. But tomorrow, weigh-training day at the gym! Yey! :D I'm looking forward to that..
Now I think it's time for bed. Slept very short night last night and the night before that woke up in the middle of the night because of a very noisy thunderstorm. That plus two early mornings have made me veeeryyy veeeryyyy tiiiirrreeeeeddd

juliette you are gorrrrrrrrrrgeous!!!!
you absolute hottie, you!
x

Thanks Sophie! :D You're a sweetheart! :hug2:

I'm off to the gym. Then I need to find a super ingenuos gift for my cousin. I'm going to her school graduation tomorrow, and as I see her and her family extremely rarely, I want to give her something to remember. So I have no idea how long finding something good will take. Back after that!
Julie

good luck! lets swap places - i'm literally on the point of tying myself to the desk as I HAVE to get some revision done for my exams. i want to go shopping so badly - ive just been paid this months wages and a month in advance AND have birthday money. i can feel town centre calling me...
have a nice day - hope the weathers as good for you as it looks like its going to be here today

The weather's great! Sunny, a bit windy and not as hot as last week, but this actually suits my northern nature better. :D
Sophie, I'm so sorry about you having to revise, but it'll soon be over and you get to enjoy summer holiday! :)
I ended up getting my cousin two beautiful tee/coffee mugs and matching plates and a nice little thingy () you can make tea or coffee with, if you can boil water for it. No electricity needed after that, so I thought this would come handy when my cousin moves away from home to study.
Good gym session as well, came out of the gym with absolutely no brain function. Recovered quickly as I read my email and found out that I HAD BEEN CHOSEN for this master-class I had applied for (audition tape required) and thought I didn't get in, since I got no letter of acceptance. Turns out, they hadn't notified anybody until now. Soooo, there goes my summer holiday of idleness and inactivity out the door, and in comes active rehearsing up until July 15th, the start of the master-class. And despite of that grumpy comment, I'M THRILLED! The professor who gives the master-class is thought very highly of and I've never before had the priviledge to work with her, so this could be a good career move as well as great learning experience. :D
Right now I'm starving of all the shopping, gym and excitement, so I'm gonna go make myself lunch (yes, I know it's 4.15 pm...). Back later.. :newbie:

Morning Mrs J, it's actually breakfast time here, HAHAHAHA You have so many amazing things happening around you right now how fun!!! I love the mug set you got for your new graduate, awesome idea!! With all that working out your getting in, I need to up the anty or your going to get down to that 140 mark before I even get to the 160's OH YEAH GO "J"!!! have a beautiful day today!
Kim

Hi Juliette, and CONGRATS on your Masters Class! You said it's sunny there -- are you far enough north where it's sunny 20 hours a day?

are you far enough north where it's sunny 20 hours a day?

Helsinki today
Sun rise 4.09
Sun set 22.29
So we're up to over 18 hours now. The longest day (around 21st June) here in the southern Finland is about 19 hours of sun.
Winter time we have at the worst less than 6 hours of sun. You win some, you lose some... :)

Thanks for stopping by here at my humble home. :D

Well, Kim, you're gonna get a bit of an advantage tomorrow, since I'm not going to go to this graduation party counting calories. It's been about five years since I've last seen these people and I will eat as much of my aunts delicious cakes as I see fit. :rotflmao:
Back on track Sunday though, I hope. ;)

Stats for Friday
Exercise about 700 cals
Weight training 60 minutes
Cardio all-sorts 47 minutes (even rowing included today :))
Eaten
cals 1822
prot 145
carb 146
fat 71
fibre 35

As I wrote already, tomorrow I'll be going out of town to my cousin's school graduation. No exercise or calorie counting for tomorrow. I've been really good so far this week and a quick peek at my scale told me it has been rewarded. I expect this to show on the official weigh-in Monday morning even if I accidentally ate a whole horse tomorrow.
Have a relaxing weekend, everybody!
Hugs,
Juliette

LOL at the accidental horse consumption!

I finally made it to your diary, and what a good place it is - as expected. You have been doing some massive exercise!! I hope your weekend is lovely.

14.42 in Auckland according to my research. December 20-23.
It's great to see somebody think that we're "down there", since, naturally, when I was a child I thought you people there were maybe standing upside down. :rotflmao:

Uh oh, you mean that isn't true? Actually, since I'm more in the middle, perhaps both of you are standing upside down!

Don't eat too much horse tomorrow! :)

Soo, you'd see us standing like sideways?
Not only are we that, but it's also already tomorrow evening here: :D
No, I didn't eat horse at all, it wasn't on the menu. Had some salads (delicious), sandwiches, then cake, biscuits, another cake and coffee. :) And only tiny bits and pieces of everything except the salads.

Congrats on that masters class! Very cool. Hope that excitement energy gets you down a few more pounds. :)

I'm counting on that. Plus I wouldn't mind looking great there... :D

I remember once in Hamburg we went to a restaurant and ordered reindeer steak. Toughest, chewiest piece of meat I ever ate! UGGHHH!

With reindeer, as with food in general, it's about the art of preparing it. I'm sooo sorry for your experience, since I really like reindeer. The good parts cost their weight in gold, so I can't really indulge too often.
