I think focussing on eating healthily also helps to improve your mood. I know it does mine anyway. I try not to look on food & exercise as a weight thing. To me, it's more about treating myself well- nurturing myself. My sister used light therapy for her depression, but probably not often enough. I find getting outside in the fresh air helps me & I also take Vitamin D. Winter can really get me down, as can worrying about the people I love. I'm also up tonight with Insomnia. It sucks, but I decided to catch up with the diaries I missed during the day.
Take care of yourself & don't feel you need to hide from us. We're all trying to improve our health & we all have that in common.
