Journey, Not A Destination

Hahaha, I'm on it. I have little debt. I'm ok financially... good actually. I've just been spending uncontrollably as of late. And the thing is, a lot of it was necessary relatively speaking. Things for the business and things for the trip.

We might not be going to Vegas now so that will help.

Oh my goodness...that goose story almost brought me to tears! Almost...i'm still deciding whether or not to go there. :(

You are an awesome story teller. Someday when you are old and grey your grandchildren will all gather around begging to hear you tell your stories :)

Tell me about it.

It's a day I'll never forget.

I would accept this happily. :)

when steve's a great grandpappy -i don't imagine he'd be the type to sit in a rocking chair tellng tales of his youth (though - his gordy stories will have ti wait til the grandkids are of age... :D ) he wil instead -bench press the rug rats :) and chase them around til they are begging for a nap :)

This is probably more like it. I plan on being a very active elder. And I don't see my ADD and hyper-child-mind-forever mentality going away ever, lol.

Though I do enjoy telling a good story too.

Maybe after the grandkids are begging me to stop telling stories I'll start wrasslin with them.

No.

It's an interesting question but one I haven't researched.

Finding studies on bodybuilders... good ones... is next to impossible.

Here's a relevant study abstract... about the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I don't have the full paper though.

Thanks for the study. It seems in this study everything "grew" in unison pretty much.

Too bad the study wasn't done on giant m3at headz with 50 inch gunz.

Steve Da goose man!

Hey Steve, do you have any good reading on a way to power clean without dropping the weight?

Its just not possible to drop the weight in my house. It would go straight through the floor...

Speaking of geese, I've always wanted a duck as a pet. lol

Trevor, I would take that question to Marc Rippetoe over on the strengthmill forum. He answers pretty much all questions that get posted in his forum and he's obviously got a ton more experience than me.

Might do that. Thanks, Steve. I didn't even know he had his own forum.

He certainly does and graciously replies to a ton of posts daily.

So Steve uncovered any good links recently?

I've been researching less and less as of late due to my schedule. Barely keeping up with the few blogs, newsletters, and forums I read.

Have a good trip tomorrow!! See ya when you get back. Don't freeze your appendages off. You and Gord can keep each other's warm. :D

eh - I'm sure you'll provide good entertainment in your later years..

Most certainly... she says that whenever someone says to her jokingly (well I like to take it as a joke), "What were you thinking, Krista?"

Her response is always, "Well, it's never a dull moment. He's on from the moment he wakes up till the moment he shuts his eyes."

And it's the truth. I'm like a robot of hyperactivity.

:D and you're probably pretty handy at opening jars and stuff now... :D and you probably flex for her doncha.. :D

At the snap of a finger. :p

So today is the day our trek begins and I am really stoked. What sucks is I have training for this new software here at work from 9 to whenever. When it's over, I'm going to clean up a few things and hopefully get out of here by 3.

From there, it's nothing but freedom.

I packed everything last night. My pack feels damn heavy though.

Supposedely, and this is from Gordy, we're in for one of the nicest weekends ever up there on the mountain.
