Journey, Not A Destination

Morning Steve!! :) Hope you have a good ass kicking day!! Must keep the pics coming on your "cut" progress. You know us ladies, we love the pics!! LOL Don't tell anybody, but I weighed in again this morning, and well I usually only weigh on Mondays, well I'm down a pound from yesterday. LOL LOL I'm sure I'll find it before Friday however! I have lower body workout tonight, hope I'm not as tired as last week, it just wore me down! Val said I should continue to do my Body Flow class after the lower workout, since it's just Pilates, tia-chi and yoga, last week I was shaking like a mo-fo and I never did that before. Think it's a good thing????
Kim

Yea, it it's just a bunch of core stuff and stretching, it shouldn't really affect your recovery.

In terms of the shaking, you'll adapt. I'm like that too when I try something new or come back after a break.

Congrats on the lb!

I really think I need to strengthen my back muscles a little more, I'm thinking I'm not as strong as I used to be back in the day. I was really into gymnastics before my kids were born, I was that crazy back flipping girl, and well when I had the kiddos they gave me that large shot in the back and well the son of a biatch put the needle in wrong and hit a nerve back there, :mad:finally he got it right, but I SWEAR my back has never been the same since. I now do a back bend and all I see is stars! It sucks, and it really pissed me off for a long time, but I do think my back strength has a lot to do with it. Do you know much about that?

The only way to strengthen your back is to work it with progressively heavier weights, and that's assuming you can do so pain free. The routine I presented to you will help. You can do direct exercises on the side a couple of times each week such as:

These look great! I think I can do several of these pain free, BUT NOT SHAKY free. LOL LOL Thanks Steve! Should I do some of these on my OFF cardio days?

This fucking potty mouth of yours is fucking way the fuck out of fucking control, Sheryl.

Please fucking stop.

Well fuckity... fuck fuck.... I'll do my best to watch my "fucking potty mouth." I'm so fucking sorry.

Damn.... gotta love a Mod I can talk shit to. LOL!!!

YAY!! He agrees with me :D I was seriously at the edge of my seat for that one.

Morning Steve! :) I like that website a lot!

Kim: I do ALL those back exercises, they're great! I have never experienced a medical mishap that you had the misfortune of experiencing (OUCH :(), but I think those back exercises really keep me in good shape. I NEVER have back pain :) Wait--Oh I don't so the one with the stability ball. Those things are always floating around my gym, I should use them more....

I'd throw a handful of sets in at the end of your resistance training days actually.

Don't go overboard though. Maybe pick 1-3 movements and do a few sets total.

Ooooh yeah, I just remembered to try my superset leg workout with body weight. What was it again? I cant find it. 3 x 15 (or 30?) of squats, _____, jump squats, do supersets twice without rest. Remind me?

Howdy,Steve:)

you actually don't need a pedometer - go to and plan out your route - it will give you accurate mileage - then just go by how long it took you to walk it.

Steve, I was trying to find you on spark but couldn't for the life of me. How did it work out? Did you mess with any of the members? Ha ha

They let them drive 97 yards or some shit in the final minute and score.

And thanks for rubbing it in.

Hey, check out this picture of a tree I took!

Hi, Steve. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello. I left some words of explanation in my journal. I'm still pretty busy, but I'll try to get here at least once a day.

Good morning!! I have been thinling about it and you remind me of wonder boy!! I know I'm kind of crazy, but I reallt think you fit the bill. Hope you have a great day!!:D

I didn't know you had a diary! How's the training coming along?

I actually posted something off-topic because i thought weight loss diary wasnt supposed to be for weight gaining.

What have you been doing first?

If I remember correctly, you are following a pretty strict caloric intake, something like 1200 calories, right?

The less energy you supply, the lower your capacity to handle work is.
