Journey, Not A Destination

I'll say. All those superstars on Dallas and they couldn't muster up a win against the Eagles this year. They need to go back to the drawing board.

Playoffs are going to be interesting.

HAHA, thanks, but I've done quite a bit of research on radon as well as communicated with some of the leading experts, and it's simply not something I'm worried about on the short term basis.

It will be fixed within the year.

My reading was low.

I'm rarely down on the first floor.

When the test was done, the house was completely enclosed, which it rarely is on a regular basis.

Again, I understand the risks and know what I'm doing. Anyone who knows me knows I educate myself before jumping into something. Remediation is quite simplistic. I'm just short on time at the moment to deal with it. I plan on calling this week to set up an appointment, so all is well.

I'm comfortably watching the Eagles whoop up on Dallas. Let's hope they keep it up!!!

I'm just a bit over-protective, eh? :D

Nothing wrong with that.

I come prepared to the table more often than not.

I don't plan my life out on a piece of paper every single move... but when I'm making big decisions that can really impact my life, especially health, I do my research.

Plus I can nerd with the best of them. Tis something I enjoy. :p

You must be a lot like me, then. I like to feel as though I'm fully informed :p

I never make a decision about anything without getting my hands on enough information to feel as though I have full disclosure ;)

Sometimes that takes me awhile, though :D

yeah, that was pathetic. They're pretty stacked. I didn't watch the game but i seen some highlights. Looks like it was just a complete mess for dallas. But they've never had much luck in BIG games. Happily i can say that my Vikings had a big win today and i'll be watching at least one more week of Adrian Peterson and the viks.:bigear:

Quote and randomness

The most erroneous stories are those we think we know best -- and therefore never scrutinize or question.

So I'm enjoying my week off. I've been doing a ton of reading, working around the house, taking hikes.

It's nice.

I'm feeling a little under the weather today, I seem to be coming down with a cold/cough.

As of right now I'm not sure what's going to be happening for new years eve. There are a few options, none of them overly exciting. I'd just as soon relax at my house, lol.

As far as training goes, it's been next to none. I've been so damn busy and working on conditioning for my upcoming hike that lifting has really taken a backseat. So have my physique, which I'm fine with. It's all about prioritization.

Is that the hike for your buddy's bachelor party? Where did you decide to go?

Matt

Look what the cat drug in.

Hola Mal. :)

The hike is going to be the same one we did earlier this year, known as the presidential traverse up in the whites of NH.

You wouldn't need pushing. We're probably all going to freeze to death. :)

Right now it's looking like the third week in february.

Join the club. I woke up with the sudden urge to want to puke. Gotta love the flu. Yummm.

Wait... that's not the hike that you told me about, eh? You know.. getting lost and shit? If that's the case, make sure to take a satellite phone and all that good shit. I'm telling you, if something happens, I'm flying up there special to whoop your ass, homeboy.

And to Jersey you whether you like it or not. :D

Steve--as a quick note I was finally deadlifting and barbell squatting yesterday, which, thanks to you over a year ago, are my favorite weight bearing activities :) Only 115 lbs, not plates--which I was thinking I could do since the buck fifteen felt pretty easy--but still it seemed to shock the hell out of the few guys in the weight room. You're right: not many people do those big effective moves for some strange reason. Perhaps gym discourages it because they're afraid people are going to hurt themselves (?)

Hey Steve! Got the week off ehh? Hope you are getting some nice R&R in.

So what is this about another hike in February? Is it the same crazy hike you did not to long ago where you guys snuggled 3 guys in a 2 man tent?

We didn't get lost.

We got stuck in a bad storm and couldn't get down from the top of the one mountain. Had to break into a cabin to survive.

And if I'm stuck up there again, there's no way in hell your Hawaiian ass is going to dare step foot on this freezing ass mountain!
