Journey, Not A Destination

I did check out that link. Not all of it. But I was impressed, it's a neat little site. How did you find it?

Yea, I did watch the Democratic convention last night. Obama sure can light fires with his speeches, I'll say that.

Thanks for those links Trevor.

So this weekend is going great so far. It hasn't been as relaxing as I had planned but it hasn't been stressful either so that's good. Today should be really nice though. The weather is amazing. I'm going to go wash my truck in a few. Then at 3, I'm going to a picnic.

Hope everyone is well.

I think my neighbors would shoot me if they saw me filming myself washing my truck, lol. That thing is easy as hell to clean though... everything is so much bigger and easier to work around than my Z. That's a plus.

Hey Steve! Ive noticed you around the forums and I was just wanted to say hi, and that its really awesome how informative you are! Your doing a fabulous job with your advice giving!

Man am I sorry to see this weekend come to an end. It was very relaxing and the weather was down right amazing. I didn't do all that much beyond a picnic and some reading. I worked out twice too.

I just took my measurements for the unofficial start of my bulk. Wow am I a sorry sack compared to where I was a year ago. That's quite alright though... a lot has happened. I'm determined to get some bulk back on and it will happen. I doubt as quickly as it did last time... I just don't have the time available to eat how I did on the last bulk. But progress is progress.

Tomorrow I'm only working half a day. I have to be at the home inspection which they say will take 3 hours. Sounds like fun!

Hopefully I'll make it to the gym afterwards but I'm training a client in the evening as well, so it's not looking good. Tomorrow I will most likely not be getting all my cals in.

Good luck w/the bulking!! I can imagine you are going to be drinking some high calorie weight gainer shakes? yum...NOT! LOL Seriously though, I'm sure you will have that muscle back on in no time.

Isn't it nice to relax on long weekends? I did the same. :) Now I am back to work trying to get into "work mode"...when all I want to do is go home and take a nap! LOL I got up early all weekend...I can't seem to sleep in!

Good luck w/the house inspection. Can't wait to hear how it goes!!

Hell no.

I have a couple of regular whey shakes that are low in calories, relatively speaking. But I have those when I'm dieting too, just to make it easier to get adequate protein in.

My calories mostly come from whole foods.

A typical day will consist of 5-6 full meals.

Hell yea. Relaxation has been very elusive as of late so this weekend was perfect. I hear next weekend we are supposed to get dowsed with a tropical storm, so I might find some relation again!

Thanks.

The home inspection seemed to go very, very well. I will have a full report soon from the inspector but I don't think there will be anything pressing.

What kind do you use? I have a whole can of whey protein powder that I use in a bread recipe that I thought I could use in a shake at home too, I think it's "Any Whey". But I'd really like to find something premade as well to keep on hand for in a pinch when I'm stuck at work or going straight from work to class. I'm using Atkins right now since I WAS doing strict low-carb and I have some left from then. I need to stay low-sugar regardless, but their "new improved taste" is pretty horrid. Any recommendations?

I've been using ON's whey protein for the last couple of years.

ON = optimum nutrition

To be precise, this the kind I'm using:

Bodybuilding.com - Optimum 100% Whey Protein - With Faster-Acting HYDROWHEY! On sale now!

Getting comfortable in married life? :D You will absolutely get some bulk on! Rock it!!!

Hawaii pictures for ya--the last one is me covered in green sand (olivine) :)

I took all these pictures but in all honesty I upped the contrast and saturation a bit--to get through the vog. Escept the last one, I did nothing to that (except flip it to portrait)
