Journey, Not A Destination

I've been real busy. But nice b/c I've been working from home. But still real busy.

Good news: The septic system passed with flying colors so that was the last major hurdle. We have the home, termite, radon and water inspections yet but I have no real concerns on those fronts.

This week is turtle crawling its way to Friday, christalmighty. I need a break to just veg out. I can say that this has honestly been the most busy month in my life. And wouldn't you know we didn't work on the business once, lol.

It's tough b/c we have a number of clients right now and when life gets hectic, we service what we have now and put the build out of the site on hold.

That has to stop.

Pace yourself with the site - you'll get there.. and if you're enjoying working wiht the clients... that's a good thing - a very good thing.. maybe devote an hour or two a week to the site.. and before you know it... it'll be ready for prime time.. Or ask your favorite silent partner helper bee for some assistance... Or engage some of your clients for video taping guinea pigs.. :D

Steve,

Glad to hear things are working out with the house, it's exciting.

Things're still crazy my way too (still). Next week will be more sane and I can get back in the swing of things.

Glad everything going well with the house. Man, I bet the truck kicks ass! Haha - Get a new exhaust system, at least a more aggressive muffler, and you'll see cars move out of the lane when you come up behind them.

I went bowling for the first time in several months and damn am I sore. I can't rotate my hand inward without feeling like my ulna is going to split in half. Of course, I rocket those 16pound house balls with a strong, striking curve. I did pretty good for my first league game of the season. Especially considering it was my first time bowling in a while.
In practice I got a 154. In the first game of the series I got a 153, second 113, third was a 178.
My second game was really crap lol.

Do you bowl, Steve?

Yea, I know this, I really do. I just like some progress to be made consistently and it's just not there right now. I need to keep my outlook in perspective. There's been a lot happening.... new house, new car, broken camera, etc, etc.

None of this was planned.

So I need to adjust accordingly. I'm still operating under my old expectations when the playing field has changed drastically.

That it is. :)

That's just it... right now an hour is hard to come by. At least an hour where my mind is still able to produce quality output. Like right now... it's my first real breather of the day and it's 7:30. I feel like relaxing and browsing the forums now.

But it's all good. Things will happen when they're meant to happen.

Steve,

Real exciting... I'm so anxious to get in there and settle down. This is going to be a long 2-3 months of waiting though!

Things're still crazy my way too (still). Next week will be more sane and I can get back in the swing of things.

I hope you're still maintaining some form of your health pursuits. Crazy times like these really put your will to the test... I know they do for me.

Thanks for stopping in.

Cars move now, lol. It's amazing the difference when you come up behind someone in a little, yellow 2-seater vs. a big Ram. I'm enjoying it.

Exhaust is something I've considered...

The 2009 Ram comes with dual exhaust... but I'm not sold on the overall appearance of the truck yet. I have a friend who is getting it as soon as it comes out, supposedly.

It depends on what you mean by bowl, lol.

Yea, I occasionally go to the lanes and have fun. But I'm not great. I was in a league last year just for fun and it was a blast. I think my best score was in the 170s. But we got our asses handed to us every single night. Women, men, old, young... it didn't matter... we were the worse in the league.

They all came with their shiny, custom balls in their custom bag balls with all kinds of fancy equipment.

We'd show up wearing some ridiculous outfits, grab a few pitchers of beer, and just let loose.

It was fun.

I bowled on a league once and I agree. It was a blast. I should check out doing it again. Now that I am old and married I need a bowling league.

Ha ha I also bowled on a league... several summers in a row... It was always a blast!!

Hang in there Steve-O!! Ha ha, life loves to throw curve balls, but I assume you are a good catch!!

Glad to hear the septic checked out okay... I guess I missed the part about getting a new truck.. but if you went with the Ram then you are okay in my book. Big trucks are HOT especially Dodges!

I hope you find some time to breathe, I feel the same way with school just starting out... but we will adjust... that's what life is all about.

Hey, it's FRIDAY!!!!

Thought it'd never get here...

Hope you have a nice chill-able - relax-able- rest-able- do fun stuff for steve-able LOOOOONG weekend..

What it did for me was break up the monotony of the week. It was nice to have something fun to look forward to on Wednesdays. Then again, fun is possible at anytime of the week... it's just a matter of making it happen.

Man-oh-man do I ever agree!

And I hope the same for you. Do you have Monday off? Let me guess... no.

I have one picnic to go to on Sunday, I believe, and beyond that.... nothing but relaxing and clearing my mind.

I have monday off but am working tomorrow -our photo studio is moving to a new location and I said I'd go over and help out with some stuff...

I wonder what clearing Steve's mind would entail... I mean, you're a thinker... a hard core reflective mutha.... it must take a lot to slow that sumbitch down.
